He did it.

He did it!
It only cost Him His mother and His power, for now at least. And He finally felt at peace, it wasn't sailing the galaxy with the planet as His vessel, it wasn't following in His mothers footsteps, nor was it using Cloud as His puppet. It was the feeling of being human and not just something that those mindless corporate overlords made Him to be. And to think it was all His fault.Cloud died in His hands. In that church that once belonged to Cloud, where he slept and wept when Sephiroth wasn't using him to go run tasks and kill off any survivors. To think that He wouldn't think that Cloud would starve himself, even under His control.Sephiroth chuckled despite the tears pouring out of His eyes from the sheer madness and euphoria from being able to do everything over. Looking down to look at His hands to make sure that this was all reality, catching His tears between His gloved fingers as He did, He looked back as He heard the taping of those Shin-Ra brand steel toed combat boots.Sephiroth turned His head over His shoulder to see the familiar faces of His comrades, but more specifically, Cloud. His pupils dilated as He saw himself try to hide his face with the scarf in his uniform, how he looked with a shadow cast over him by Zack who stood defensively before him. Oh but Zack, his expression was as sharp as ever out of the eerie feeling that radiated off of Sephiroth's stare. It was then when Sephiroth realized that the candle flame flickered and reached heights that not even He thought possible and the already dim lights started to give out, something that they had been doing for the six days that He had been reading through the files that had hidden His making, the very essence of what made Him, Him."Moron." He called His past self for not realizing that it was His godhood that gave the lights that ability. And as He fully turned to face His comrades, lucky that His bangs were just long enough to cover up His eyes and the tears that just so slightly picked up the pace, He willfully broke the lights and waved the candles out before slowly making His way through the file littered hall that connected the two rooms of the Shin-Ra Mansion to get to them.Only the glow of His mako infused eyes were the thing that differentiated Himself and Zack from the shadows of the otherwise pitch black room. The clicking of Sephiroth's boots on the dust covered stone bricks and the slight metallic shift as Zack and Cloud prepared for the worst was the only sound that reached His ears for the moment as all He wanted was to wrap His arms around His lovely puppet- er, Cloud. He had no right to call him His puppet anymore.
