Chapter 1: Wishmaster DownIn the Perspective of PrismoI wandered around the Time Room, trying to shake off the emotional tragedy that Scrabby put me through. It always seems to hurt when a friend betrays you. The trials were extremely hard, so hard I could barely take it, but to find out that they weren’t even substantial? It can be hard knowing that you struggled through something that wasn’t even important. The Time Room was very lonely, and the only guest I had was myself. I wandered around the Time Room, but when I looked around, I could only see one thing: the walls. I started to get bored, so I visited Fionna and Cake, now that I can switch my form whenever. For some reason, it took multiple tries to open the portal. I tried for a long time, but it never seemed to work. I tried again. I tried once more. Suddenly, the portal opened and I could get through, but I wasn’t trying to open it. It never happened so suddenly. Maybe something was wrong with me? Just as usual, I fell through a portal in their roof… and faceplanted. It seems that I can never learn how to fall on my feet. Hours later, I woke up lying on Fionna and Cake’s couch with a bag of frozen peas on my head.“Prismo? Are you okay?” asked Fionna. “I mean- yes, but why can I see the stars in the daytime? Did I just teleport to the wrong universe?” I responded, confused. “No, Prismo. You did not.” replied Fionna. I knew something was wrong, because my portals never pop out so abruptly. I mean- I never fall out the right way, but I didn’t want to admit it. I just held it in, because if they knew, I would probably die of embarrassment. Fionna seemed to notice something wrong with me.“Prismo! Your form is glitching!” I knew that it meant only one thing. “Fionna, Cake, I gotta go… Someone has interfered with the entire multiverse, and I think I know who… Have your crown ready, Cake!” I exclaimed. “But Prismo! Look at the jewels! They’re white!” Cake responded. My left eye twitched and my fists clenched. There was only one person it could be… I knew that it was Scrabby. “Scrabby stole the crown from his world, and he’s teleporting to every other universe and messing things up! I need your help getting it back to save the multiverse from its power.” I explained. Fionna smiled. “I accept your mission.” she said. Chapter 2: The Copycat WithinIn the Perspective of PrismoWe teleported to the Time Room to watch every universe in existence. Luckily, Scarab didn't fully freeze any universes… yet, but the thing that we had to do was to figure out where he was. We continued to look through all of the universes, until Fionna noticed something. “Oh my glob! Is that a different version of you?” asked Fionna. I studied this odd universe to realize that Scarab must’ve created a different version of me while my back was turned. This universe must be unauthorized because Scarab wrote it off the books, just like I did with Fionna and Cake’s world.I saw the version of me… but it was female. I couldn’t help but roll my eyes as I saw Scarab being a copycat, because I made an unauthorized universe, so of course he had to make one too! “Lady Prismo!” shouted Cake. Fionna and Cake laughed. “Hmm… There might be a way to interfere with the unauthorized creation, I just need to have a talk with Orbo.” I explained, as I summoned a phone to call Orbo. Luckily, he answered the phone.“Hey, Orbo!” I said.“Long time no see, Prismo! Is it all cool with Scrabby now? If it isn’t, he can say goodbye to his legs!” asked Orbo.“Sort of yes, sort of no. At least I’m wishmaster again!” I responded.“What’s this sort of no?” Orbo asked.“He is using the ice crown to interfere with the entire multiverse, and while my back was turned, he made a female version of me! An unauthorized female version of me!” I exclaimed.“We need someone to replace Scarab as an auditor, and he has absolutely no right to copy you! All over all, we need a replacement fast!” stated Orbo.“But who?” I asked.“I can probably grab a duplicate crystal from our boss and you can hand it off to some human.” stated Orbo.“I know just the right human for the job!” I responded, happily. We got off the phone and I peered over to Fionna. “Fionna, will you contain the unauthorized version of me before she grants any wishes, and then Scarab?” I asked. Fionna nodded her head. “I will do anything for my best friends.” she said, with a grin on her face. Chapter 3: Who Are You?In the Perspective of FionnaBefore I knew it, I was talking with Orbo about replacing Scarab.“Are you the human Prismo chose?” asked Orbo.“Yes.” I responded.“Alright, mate. Let me call the boss about getting the crystal.” added Orbo. Orbo made a phone fall to the ground to call his boss. “Hello boss… Yes, that’s what I’m calling about. The human is here…So it’s ready?... It’s coming right now?... Okay, bye.” Orbo and his boss got off the phone, and the crystal glowed, falling slowly into my hands.“Hey orb guy, does this come with an instruction manual?” I asked.“No, it does not, but it’s pretty cool! The instructions just come to you mate. If Scrabby keeps being a pain, he can say goodbye to his legs!” responded Orbo.“I’ll assure you that what needs to be done with Scarab and the rogue universe will be done.” I stated.“Alright, thanks mate.” responded Orbo. I was teleported back to the Time Room with the crystal in my hands, and I was ready to contain Scarab and that rogue wishmistress. “Oh, hey Fionna! You’re back! Cake and I were playing Card Wars while you were gone.” remarked Prismo. “And I let him win!” shouted Cake. “Liar,” argued Prismo, “Anyways, are you ready to go?” “Ready as I’ll ever be!” I said, confidently. Before I knew it, I was teleported to that so-called ‘Time Room’.“Oh, hey! A wisher!” exclaimed the wishmistress. “Who are you?” I asked. “I’m Prisma the Wishmistress and I grant wishes.” explained Prisma. “So, a guy named Scarab made you, and you are like- the duplicate of Prismo the Wishmaster, and you were sort of an unauthorized creation, and you technically aren’t even allowed to grant wishes, so if you would kindly step down from your position…” I said“I’ve never heard of all of this stuff… who told you that?” asked Prisma. “Prismo did!” I responded, with confidence. “Hmm… I want to see this ‘Prismo’ person you’re talking about.” wondered Prisma. “Uhh- okay, I guess…” I responded. I called Prismo and discussed what Prisma had said to me. “Prisma? Really?” asked Prismo. “Yes!” I exclaimed. “Be there in a jiffy.” stated Prismo. Chapter 4: Prisma and PrismoIn the Perspective of FionnaPrismo teleported to Prisma’s Time Room. “Hello, Prismo! I’ve heard about you!” exclaimed Prisma. “I’ve heard about you too…” said Prismo. “So, I guess I’m not the only one who can grant wishes!” remarked Prisma. “So- about what Fionna told you…” stated Prismo. “I’m not supposed to grant wishes, right?” asked Prisma. “Well, you can if you come with me. Two Time Rooms would cause chaos and havoc across the multiverse.” explained Prismo. “Sure, that would work perfectly.” responded Prisma. Prisma and Prismo stared at each other.“What Time Room should we use?” asked Prisma. “They’re exactly the same, so it doesn’t matter. Mine is more well-known so we get more wishers.” explained Prismo. “Let’s use yours,” said Prisma. “Wait… I did not think this through, because if this universe is erased, so are you!” Prismo cried, “I don’t want anyone being destroyed!” “Nor do I!” cried Prisma. “All I know is that we need to do something, even if it’s to drastic measures to save your life.” responded Prismo.I continued to think and think until I finally had an idea. “I think that I have an idea!” I shouted. “What is it?” asked Prisma. Prismo and I looked at each other. Prismo had a don't-do-it look in his eyes. “Actually, disregard that…” I mumbled. Prisma sighed. “If you have to erase me, I guess that’s what you need to do…” “No!” shouted Prismo, “There must be something we can do! Nobody, let me repeat that, NOBODY is going to get erased as long as I’m in charge of it…” “No- no no no no no no no. It’s ok, really. You can erase me if that’s what you need to do…” responded Prisma.Prismo started to cry. “What’s wrong, Prismo?” I asked. “If Prisma is almost a copy of me, I know that something, well- bad is going to happen right now, but it’s sort of my secret. Prisma could well- temporarily die after this. I remember this sequence of events. Whatever you do, don’t go to a house that you can see from here, if you know you know. This is serious, and it may take about a millennium to fix.” explained Prismo.“What?” asked Prisma. “Oh glob, I didn’t think she would hear me…” stated Prismo, worried. “Umm… be back in a few.” said Prisma, anxiously. Prisma took a deep breath, and her eyes gleamed with tears. I felt bad for Prisma, because what Prismo had said must’ve been hard to process, although I didn’t really know what he was talking about for most of the time. The look in both Prisma’s and Prismo’s eyes disturbed me, because I knew that they were both so worried and hopeless. Chapter 5: One Small ProblemIn the Perspective of PrismaI wandered deeper into the Time Room, in denial of what Prismo said. Am I really going to die? That’s just nonsense, I try to tell myself, but no matter what pep-talks and affirmations I get, I seem to just continue worrying. I try to be chill and calm about everything, even when it’s hard, but sometimes bottling up your emotions can make it even harder. Do I deserve being woken up? Am I just a problem to other universes? I took a deep breath and kept going… until my universe breach alarm went off. “Prisma! You got an alarm! Want me to get it?” hollered Prismo.“Sure,” I hollered back. “Thanks a lot.” Prismo checked the alarm. I could hear “Oh glob oh glob oh glob… uh… what should we do?” coming from Prismo up in the Wish Room. I rushed from the Time Core to the Wish Room to see what was the matter. “Scarab is coming!” shouted Fionna. “Who the heck is Scarab?” I asked, baffled. “A bad guy with new ice powers.” explained Fionna. “And he can trap us in little cubes like he did to me once! I hope that history doesn’t repeat itself! Oh goodness…” Prismo said, as his fear started to spiral.“Listen, Prismo,” I stated. “Although I might not have been through this, I hope you know that I’m here for you, no matter what.” Prismo grinned. “I’m so glad to have a friend as good as you.” I smiled back. As I watched out of the doors of the Time Room, I saw a red beetle guy, but I didn’t know who it was. Did I finally have a wisher? “Close the doors, Prisma!” exclaimed Prismo. “Why? I bet he’s just coming to make a wish.” I responded, confused. “No, close them! That’s Scarab!” shouted Fionna, anxiously. “Chill, girl! It’s all going to be okay.” I said, trying to calm her down.I didn’t close the door on time, and Scarab got in. “I guess ‘chill’ is what you could say…,” said Scarab. Scarab froze the Time Room, and everyone in it… except for Prismo and I. We stared at Fionna, who was frozen in place, hoping that the ice should melt sometime. “I have an idea, Prismo!” I exclaimed, with excitement. “What is it, Prisma?” asked Prismo. I summoned a lighter, and Prismo nodded, summoning a flamethrower. “Don’t worry, I was a rookie once too.” Prismo said, “Not trying to boast.”We melted the ice together, watching Scarab, who was shocked and in denial. “No, no, no, no, no! You can’t melt my ice with a snap of your fingers!” “You’re wrong, Scarab. Anything is possible when you do it together.” I stated. Scarab looked so humiliated, and I started to laugh. “Nice try, dude.” I said, smirking. “You know, Scrabby, let me tell you something that you’ve said before yourself. You have won this time, Scarab, but don’t think that I will let you be a wishmaster again. You won your life, and isn’t that the greatest win of them all? Just don’t think that I won’t make it hard for you when you go to the next universe…” Prismo stated, happily. Scarab took a deep breath, and then shouted at the top of his lungs, “PRISMO! PRISMA! I’VE HAD ENOUGH WITH YOU TWO, YOU BIG uhh, umm, BULLIES!” We laughed. “Wow, Scarab! Not only are your reactions childish, your vocabulary is too!” said Fionna. “Nice roast, Fionna!” remarked Prismo. Chapter 6: Prisma on TriviaIn the Perspective of PrismoWhen Scrabby left the Time Room, I could not help but laugh. “Oh my glob, has he always been this childish?” asked Prisma. “It’s a new thing,” stated Fionna, “He usually tries to act sophisticated.” “Yeah. He’s sophisticated alright.” I mumbled, sarcastically, “He’s super sophisticated when he calls us ‘big uhh, umm, bullies!’” We all laughed at Scrabby’s childish behavior. “So… about the erasing me thing…” asked Prisma, who was clearly depressed, “I have an idea.” “What is it, Prisma?” Fionna responded, curiously. “What if we kept both Time Rooms, and we just didn’t use one?” suggested Prisma. “Great idea, Prisma!” I exclaimed, happily.I didn’t want to erase anyone. I didn’t want to destroy a universe. I didn’t want to lose one of my friends. “But, how will we stay in touch?” asked Prisma. “I have a lot to teach you.” I said. What are you going to teach me?” asked Prisma. “How to create a universe, be exiled in it, and go through a trial. It gave me a new power! Did you see how I arrived?” I explained. “If memory serves me right, you showed up as a human…” Prisma responded, “Why do I have to do the trial and exile thing for this power, exactly?”“It all will explain itself. Maybe there’s a way I can tweak it…” I wondered, “Because I don’t want you to be scarred for life like I was.” “I have an idea! What about a trivia, and each answer is a stage in the trial?” asked Prisma. “Perfect!” I exclaimed, “Let’s see how smart you are!” At the snap of my fingers, I transformed Prisma into a human. I summoned a glowing orb, much like the one Scarab did, and gave everyone special sunglasses. “Okay, Prisma. What is the square root of twenty-five?” I asked.“Prismo… I’m Prisma, the wishmistress, and I can control, create, watch, and alter universes. Do you think I don't know mathematics? Five obviously!” explained Prisma. The orb glew brighter. “What the heck is a square root?” asked Fionna, puzzled. “And that’s why you pay attention in school.” I said. “Okay, I’m ready for the next question.” stated Prisma, readily. “Okay. What sport involves a black and white hexagon patterned ball?” I asked. I knew what she would say: football. Everybody knows that. “Soccer!” She exclaimed. The orb glew brighter, but how? The answer was football! Or maybe I was thinking in Spanish… Don’t know, don’t care. I have three questions left to ask. I decided to ask the easiest questions to get it over with. “What’s Spanish for soccer?” I asked. “Football, obviously, with some Spanish accented u or something. Isn’t it football but the two os are replaced with a u with an apostrophe on top?” Prisma responded. The orb glew brighter. “How many universes are in the multiverse?” I asked. “There are approximately 277 authorized universes and 3 unauthorized universes, making a total of 300 universes.” Prisma answered. The orb glew even brighter. “Name the first 6 digits of pi.” I said. “3.14159.” Prisma answered. The orb went supernova, just like it did to me. With a cyclone of light, Prisma was back to normal. “Okay… what do I do now?” Prisma asked.“Can you give me a brief explanation of what pi even is?” added Fionna. Prisma gazed over to me. “Take it away, Prismo!” exclaimed Prisma. “Man- did you pay attention to math class, Fionna?” I asked. “No.” Fionna responded. I slowly turned to Prisma. “Guess we might need to teach someone math…” “Nah, I’m good.” stated Fionna, clearly unwilling, “The pleasure of maturity is not having to go to school.” Fionna remarked, happily. Chapter 7: Scarab the ThiefIn the Perspective of Prisma“That was easy!” I exclaimed. “Well, I said I would tweak it, didn’t I? We have one traumatized wishmaster, no need for another!” Prismo explained. It felt so cool that now I could travel out of the Time Room. But I knew that one thing had to be done; we needed to stop Scarab. I came up with a marvelous idea. “Prismo! Fionna! I have an idea!” I exclaimed, excitedly. “What is it, Prisma?” Fionna asked, optimistically. “Now that we can just teleport whenever, we can chase him across the multiverse and corner him in one of them!” I explained, happily.“Good idea, Prisma. Where did your remote go?” Prismo wondered. My eye opened wide, in realization that it must’ve been stolen… by Scarab. “Do you have yours, Prismo?” I asked, anxiously. “Let me check…” Prismo responded, as he teleported to his Time Room. I don’t know how he can keep his cool in this situation. Didn’t he realize that we may be doomed? He teleported back, with a look of anxiety across his face. He started pacing around, and I could tell that this wasn’t good. He must not have found it.It hit like a ton of bricks knowing that we may not be able to defeat our enemy… until Prismo had a good idea! I don’t know why I didn’t think of this before… “What if I just summoned a remote?” Prismo wondered. “Great idea, Prismo!” I said, happily. Prismo summoned a new remote, and he scrolled through the universes. I summoned mine, too. I wonder if they’re new ones, or we just transported our remotes out of Scarab’s hands. I started to watch the universes with Prismo, until I saw my answer. We saw Scarab, and he was ironically in the world that he was supposed to be in. “PRISMO! PRISMA! I’VE HONESTLY HAD ENOUGH OF YOU! YOU’RE STOPPING ME FROM DOING WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE!” Scarab yelled. “Be right back…” stated Prismo, mischievously. “Okay. See you soon!” I responded. I started to smile, because I knew what Prismo was going to do. I saw Prismo in Scarab’s universe, with a smirk on his face. “Have you had enough of us being ‘big uh, umm, bullies?’” Prismo asked. “My brain was out of whack! I meant to call you uh, umm…” Scarab tried to explain, lying. “Bullies?” Prismo sneered.Scarab facepalmed, and he took in a few deep breaths. “HOW DARE YOU INSULT MY PERFECT VOCABULARY! I HATE YOU, PRISMO!” Scarab screamed, angrily. “Feelings mutual. Now you’re just acting like a three-year-old.” Prismo said, “And also a showoff.” Scarab looked hopeless, realizing that Prismo had won. “Okay, Prismo, you’ve won!” Scarab cried, childishly. “Now get back to pre-k before your teacher thinks you’re late.” Prismo remarked, happily. He teleported back to my Time Room, laughing. Chapter 8: Seeking HelpIn the Perspective of PrismoI was back at Prisma’s Time Room, and everybody was happy. But, I realized something. Scrabby has never acted this childish, but I wondered why he was acting that way. The original Scrabby would’ve froze me and insulted me professionally. Maybe the crown got to his head? Yeah. It definitely got to his head. It may make it easier for us to defeat him! I have to tell the others. “Prisma! Fionna! I have an idea!” I exclaimed, happily. “What is it, Prismo?” Fionna asked, curiously.“I can tell that the crown has got to Scrabby’s head, and that may make it easy for us to defeat him! If he acts like a child, he will probably fight like a child, too. If we can get Cake to help us, we will probably defeat him easier.” I explained. “And Simon would probably be able to help, because if there was one person who knew about the crown, it would be him.” Fionna said, confidently. “Yes, let’s get Cake and Simon to help us, and then we will be able to finally defeat Scarab.” I responded, “Let me bring them over.” I said.I teleported Cake and Simon over to discuss our plan. “Oh, hey! You’re normal again!” Simon exclaimed, “Who’s this lady?” “I’m Prisma the Wishmistress! That means that I can grant wishes!” Prisma stated, “Tell me who you are.” “I’m Simon Petrikov, and I was once the Ice King, and well, I- I don’t want to really talk about it.” Simon said. “No problem. You see, feelings are difficult things, they’re sometimes good, and sometimes bad. But one thing about them is that they’re always for a reason.” Prisma explained. Simon smiled.“Did you forget about me?” Cake asked. “Who’s this kitty cat right here?” Prisma responded, happily. “I’m Cake, and aren’t you lady Prismo?” Cake remarked. “You can call me Prisma,” Prisma added, with a laugh, “I can tell that we’re gonna get along just great.” Prisma started playing Card Wars with Cake. Maybe Cake will let her win too! While Prisma and Cake were playing cards, Simon and I were chilling in the hot tub while Fionna was tooling around with her crystal. She kept tooling around with it, and accidentally erased part of Prisma’s Time Room. “Oops!” she exclaimed, fixing it. Prisma and I looked at each other, as I rolled my eyes. “Rookies…” Prisma remarked. Chapter 9: Always a ChanceIn the Perspective of SimonI relaxed in the hot tub with Prismo, but it didn't seem to feel right relaxing. How could we just sit here while the crown cursed another person? “I feel uneasy…” I said. “Well, I do too. You can’t get in the hot tub without a cold drink!” Prismo exclaimed, “You can’t dehydrate!” Prismo summoned two cans of soda and handed one to me. I slammed the can of soda, because I was very thirsty. “I still feel uneasy…” I remarked, “I know that Scarab’s sort of a scoundrel, but the crown cursed me, and it was terrible. I know that there’s a good Scarab in there, and we just need to find him. The curse will only get worse, until he officially goes crazy like I did. Even though it affects him differently, nobody deserves to be cursed, even our greatest enemies.”I could hear someone crying in the Time Room. It was Fionna. “What’s wrong?” asked Cake. “Simon’s speech was so moving!” Fionna exclaimed, still crying. “I agree with you, Simon. Everyone, even the most ruthless criminals, even the most villainous scoundrels, everyone has a good side, no matter who they are. That’s why we need to help Scarab, no matter the outcome.” Prisma explained. Fionna continued to cry at the speeches.Prismo summoned a box of tissues next to Fionna. “Thanks, Prismo.” she sobbed. I suddenly heard Cake raging. “What’s wrong, Cake?” Prismo asked. “Uh… NOTHING! I LET HER WIN!” shouted Cake. “Liar,” Prisma argued, “Nobody lets their opponent win.” “Do I have a wish?” Cake asked. “Yes, but you must be very specific or else there’s a weird consequence that comes with it. For example, if you wish for your ice crown to be restored, it will put the curse on you. But, don’t waste your wish on something like an item that I can just summon. As long as you’re very specific, no weird consequences will happen. Just don’t wish for something beyond my power.” Prismo explained.“Oh, okay! I wish to beat Prisma in Card Wars!” Cake exclaimed. “Don’t waste your wish! She’ll probably just let you win!” Prismo stated. “Fine.” Cake responded, “Rematch it is.” Cake and Prisma rematched, while Prismo and I chilled in the hot tub. I couldn’t relax, though, knowing that another person is being cursed. I felt sort of depressed knowing that there’s nothing I could do. Chapter 10: InfinityIn the Perspective of FionnaI thought about what Simon said about Scarab. I felt bad because he was cursed. Nobody deserves to be cursed. I wish that I could help! I wish… Wait- I wish! “Prismo! I’m ready to make my wish!” I exclaimed. “Okay, I’m ready. But, like what I said to Cake, you must be very specific or else there’s a weird consequence that comes with it. For example, if you wish for magic in your world, you may cause another world to lose its magic. But, don’t waste your wish on something like an item that I can just summon. As long as you’re very specific, no weird consequences will happen. Just don’t wish for something beyond my power.” Prismo explained.“I wish that I could go into the past or the future.” I wished. In an instant, I was transported to my reality! The wish must not have worked! I thought about when Scarab destroyed my world. In an instant, the course of time changed. I walked up behind Scarab and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around, clearly angered, and said “Ah, you, one of Prismo’s little playtoys. You are a disease. An inconvenience.” Scarab tried to attack, but I was luckily able to dodge it. He was shocked. I pulled out my crystal, and we got into a battle.“Scarab, just listen to me here,” I stated, “In the end, you will be a wishmaster. Your destiny says that you will seek revenge. There’s no need to fight, because fate will take the wheel. You will become a wishmaster.” “I don’t need to hear your words, you puny human.” Scarab responded, flatly. I realized that whatever time period I thought about, I was teleported to. I could see any time. I could access anywhere in the passage of time. I could rewrite history. I could change the future. The possibilities were endless. They were infinite.I thought about a future where we confronted Scarab in his reality. “NOT YOU PESTS AGAIN!” yelled Scarab. I told our future selves to pause. I walked over to Scarab and told him what was happening. “How am I supposed to trust you?” Scarab asked. “Listen to me, Scarab, we’re only here to help you. Once we restore your memories, you will be you again.” I explained. “Are you really coming back for me? I’m confused…” Scarab said, “I’d love to be me again, but I’m too far gone. I’m beyond repair. Save yourselves from me, because I can tell that this is not good. All I can say is that I’m sorry for torturing you.” I cried a little bit. I never expected such a kind speech from the enemy. “No, Scarab!” I exclaimed, “We’re going to help you, no matter what it takes!” Chapter 11: You Came Back for Me…In the Perspective of FionnaI thought about the past before I made the wish. I stopped my past self from wishing. “Don’t wish!” I said. Past me was shocked, then turned into a sword. “Cool! Me sword!” I exclaimed, happily. With a flash of light, it was like I never even made a wish. I told everyone about what Scarab said. “This may be surprising, but I believe that Scarab’s being truthful.” Simon stated, “But how will we restore his memories? None of us know much about him!” Prismo pointed to himself. “I do!” Prisma walked over to Prismo, saying “I do too, because I can just snoop on him whenever. ” Prismo nudged her with his elbow. “Don’t play smart with me!” Prismo exclaimed. “You’re the nerd!” Prisma said. “Now you’re just playing genius!” Prismo remarked.Simon clapped his hands. “Let’s focus if we want to save Scarab before it’s too late!” “Yes, yes.” Prisma responded. Prismo changed his form. “You coming?” he asked. “Of course!” Prisma answered. “Nah, I just want to control your hot tub.” Cake remarked. Prisma shifted her form. We teleported to Scarab’s world and we fell onto a sheet of solid ice. Scarab walked toward us. “Prismo! You came along after all that I did to you? After how I tortured you? You didn’t have to…” Scarab said. “When it comes to the ones you know and appreciate, you always come back, no matter how many mistakes are made.” Prismo stated. “I think I know how to break the curse!” exclaimed Simon. Scarab looked at Simon desperately. “How?” asked Scarab. “The crown has a primal wishing form, and you can wish to break the curse!” explained Simon.“But the consequence!” exclaimed Prismo. “Not that kind of wish.” Simon said, “The crown will grant the wish, not you or Prisma. Wish when you’re ready.” Scarab was about to make his wish, when the crown made him hesitate. “Help me…” Scarab whispered. “There is another way…” added Simon. “What is it?” I asked. “We need the Enchiridion and a mason jar.” Simon stated. Prismo summoned the Enchiridion and a mason jar. Simon flipped to page 289, which featured the Pass-the-Curse spell. He placed the crown in front of him. He picked up an earthworm and put it in the mason jar as he started reading the spell. “Let thee access the earthworm’s mind, for let the curse be intertwined. Remove the effect from Scarab’s head, makeith him no longer dread. Keep the power, remove the curse, for unto him it won’t be worse. Pass the curse and free our friend, put this mind storm to an end.” The crown emitted a blinding flash of light, and we have finally saved Scarab. Chapter 12: Guilt and MercyIn the Perspective of ScarabMy eyes started to tear up. I reflected on everything I’ve done to Prismo and the world that he created. I didn’t understand why they all were so merciful. Aren’t they going to torture me? Put me on trial? I didn’t deserve their kind treatment. It meant a lot knowing that the ones I tortured came back for me. The minute that Fionna saw me crying, she walked over to me. “What’s wrong?” asked Fionna. “I don’t understand why you all are being so merciful to me. I destroyed your world! I attempted to destroy you! For glob’s sake, I attempted to destroy Prismo! Aren’t you going to put me on a trial and torture me?” I asked.Fionna rolled her eyes. “You dum dum! Why would you think that? We would’ve done that before if that’s what we wanted to do!” she exclaimed, “Why did we help you in the first place if we didn’t want to treat you right?” “I don’t know.” I replied. Maybe I am a dum dum… Prismo came over to me and I felt a flood of emotions. Was I supposed to be happy that the past is over? Was I supposed to be dwelling on it?“Hey, Scrabby…” Prismo said.“Hello, Prismo…” I responded.“Well, I understand that we had some beef with each other…” Prismo stated.“All because of my ruthless evil self.” I remarked.“Well, that’s not you anymore, Scrabby. The past is the past, and that’s not what matters. What matters are your actions now. The past is over, and we can’t dwell on it, because everybody has a chance to change, and I know that if one person would be able to do it, it would be you.” Prismo explained. I slightly grinned at what Prismo said, because I assumed that he’d probably be mad at me. Prisma walked over to me.“Should I call you father?” asked Prisma.“No.” I responded, “You can call me Scarab.”“Would Scrabby be okay?” Prisma wondered.“I can tell that I based you off of Prismo…” I stated, “And yes, you can.”We returned to the Time Room. I feel good now that I have so many friends. It seems that I was happy alone, but I never felt the joy of having others around, and that changed it all. It used to be only my responsibilities that mattered, and I didn’t care for the wellbeing of others that got in my way. I was lost. I was misguided. I was selfish. Chapter 13: Past Tense, Present TenseIn the Perspective of PrismaI was happy that there weren’t any battles to fight in. I was glad that we were all friends. I could never imagine that Scarab would finally come to his senses. I felt bad for him, because the crown was cursing him, and we didn’t come to rescue him earlier. I knew that we forgave him, and he forgives us, but how will we persuade him that we forgive him? Sometimes, people can feel undeserving, and it’s part of their personality, and we just have to accept it, because you never know their internal struggles. Prismo looked really anxious, and it looked like something was bothering him. “I’m really sorry, Scrabby, I- I- I was arrogant, and I was trying to mock you with every chance I could! You’re not the one who shouldn’t be accepting the apology, I should be!” Prismo cried.I needed to intervene. “Prismo! Scarab! Listen here, the past is the past, you can change it! You did things, but guys, hear me out: You need to look at the big picture. The past is the past, and it’s over, so we can’t dwell on it. We’re all friends now, and can’t the power of friendship bring us together?” I remarked. Prismo reached out his hand and Scarab shook. “I guess you’re right, Prisma…” Scarab said, “Everything is over, and time never stops, but the natural response for some people is to act like it has. But where disrespect enters you, and you realize what you’ve done, it seems that you’re trapped in an endless void of regret. But the real question is, why do we even let it happen?”“That’s right. We have far more interesting things to do with our lives than disrespect others. And when you’re guilty, time seems to freeze even more. Each of us is an original, and we have similarities and differences, but they should be for good reasons. People should do what’s right, no matter what, because wrongdoing leads to a habit. Mistakes are okay, and they’re valid, but when it turns into a wrongdoing, there are consequences not only for others, but for you.” I responded. “You put it so professionally…” stated Simon. “Maybe professionally isn’t the word, but straightforward. There are a lot of things wrong with the world today, and I just tell it the way I do because somebody has to. Everyone should set an example for one another, even if the bar is only to be raised.” I remarked. EpilogueIn the Perspective of Prismo“Now that we’ve freed Scarab, what do we have to do now? Are all the adventures over? I guess it’s the end…” asked Fionna. “Ah, the bittersweet nature of endings. Something I can barely describe,” I said, “They always seem so abrupt, and they leave you asking the question ‘What will happen now?’ but sometimes, endings don’t have to be the end. Once they happen, it can be far from over! Sometimes, endings are only new beginnings.” “Keep talking! Do it for the plot!” exclaimed Cake. “I’m sorry, Cake, but I’m honestly starving. Speeches are hard on an empty stomach.” I remarked. I summoned a pizza and we all ate from it.“Where did this pizza come from? It’s delicious!” stated Fionna. “If we’re talking technical, thin air!” I explained. Everybody laughed. I played some music and we had a blast. There were no more lingering threats, and now, everybody was friends. What are the possibilities? Pretty endless, I bet. Sometimes, a person’s decision to change themselves can change the world. Now, we were happy, united, and carefree.A few years later...Prisma called me.“Hey! Prisma! How’s it going?” I asked.“Good! And you?” Prisma responded.“Excellent! Things are going well! Scrabby’s a wishmaster again, history hasn’t repeated itself, and there’s no problems in the multiverse!” I stated.“Oh, that’s great!” exclaimed Prisma, “I called to tell you something exciting!”
“Tell me!” I demanded, anticipating her result.“Let’s just say I got my first wisher today!” Prisma told me, excitedly.“Oh, yay! Good for you!” I said.“Anyways, just called to tell you. I’m sort of busy and all, and I know you are too...” remarked Prisma.“Yes, I am. It was nice talking to you, we haven’t talked in a while!” I replied.“Yes, it was. Bye!” Prisma added, hanging up the phone.Things were back to the way they should be, but it’s the end, and we have to accept it. There’s no more war. There’s no more fighting. But if we think about it, maybe this isn’t the end. What I say about endings, is that they’re chances for new beginnings. Sure, it might be the end, but maybe a chance for a new beginning.
