Blaise Blackwood, Rear Admiral of the Terran Rebellion, scowled. Fucking weeds. His plan had been perfect, how had it all gone so sideways? They had tracked down one of the Affini Compact’s smaller scout ships and surrounded it, six Leviathan-class Terran craft against one Affini leisure cruiser. It was barely a kilometer long and did not pretend to be a warship. For fuck’s sake, it didn’t have any guns on board! And yet, when his detachment engaged their railguns and sought to cripple it for capture, the awe-inspiring blasts scarcely scratched the paint on the Affini cruiser. Blaise could scarcely believe his eyes watching it, there were no more powerful craft in the Accord than Leviathan-class ships! There should be holes in that blasted ship big enough to fly a squadron of fighters through. But that was just the beginning of his troubles. Apparently, Affini ships didn’t need cannons for military engagements. Instead, massive green tendrils shot out of ports up and down the vessel and shot out toward the Terran ships. They moved with blistering speed, far too quickly for the ships’ pilots to respond. In the time it took Blaise to blink, his six majestic ships were ensnared in the Affini craft’s vines.Shortly after, a swarm of smaller ships launched out and made their way to Blaise’s fleet. Boarding craft. This was truly the nightmare scenario. This was all supposed to be so simple! His fleet was meant to be the toast of the Rebellion for being the first to successfully capture an Affini ship. But now the six glorious Leviathan ships were festooned with Affini boarding craft, and his comms were full of panicked voices begging for help. Their one chance had been to disable the ship. Terrans stood no chance against the weeds in hand-to-hand combat.Nonetheless, Blaise Blackwood did not achieve his position through cowardice. Maybe the odd bribe, but he did not run from a difficult fight. If he was to go down today, he would at least do so with a fire in his heart. He reached up and tapped his comms, opening his channel for the first time since everything soured.”Blackwood, authorization 8-2-niner-niner,” Blaise said, making for his chamber where his pulse rifle lay in waiting. “Initiate Gabriel’s Horn protocol. If this is to be the last day of our fleet, we will make damn sure the weeds come with us.” He heard various assents from his subordinates and grunted. Good. Today would be his last day flying among the stars, but it would be the last day of these weeds and their traitorous pets as well.Just thinking of them brought up the bile in Blaise’s throat. Florets, the weeds called them. Terrans and countless other sentient species from across the cosmos, imprisoned and stuffed full of plant matter to render them docile. The practice stood in opposition to everything Blaise and the Rebellion he dedicated his life to stood for. Where was the Terran ingenuity and drive? The ceaseless pursuit of growth and profit was the engine that kept the Accord running, and these plantfucking, treasonous dogs threw it away like it was nothing! Truth be told, he would take more joy in destroying them than the weeds that turned them.Blaise reached his chamber and pressed his thumb to the sensor next to the door. It slid open, and Blaise took a quick look around his quarters. They were the most luxuriant aboard the Omnibus, with a private bathroom and a bed he spent more on than most of his crewmen made in a year. It was only fair, Blaise thought as he snatched the rifle that lay on his desk. He had worked hard to achieve his station. What did it matter that his father and grandfather had been high-ranking members of the Terran Navy? He had to work his way through the Academy like everybody else. The weeds sought to do away with everything that brought Blaise Blackwood’s life merit and purpose, and that he simply could not abide. He would not see himself become one of their vacant-eyed pets. He thought of the propaganda broadcasts and shuddered. Horrifying. Who would want something like that?He emerged from his chamber with a look of quiet determination on his face, only to be faced with one of the weeds. Stars, they were even more terrifying in person. This one stood at least fifteen feet tall, with six eyes that glowed bright pink and sparkled. Its vines were deep green and dotted with pure white daisies, the same that once sat on his mother’s windowsill. It had no mouth Blaise could see, and it seemed to lack the massive thorns he saw on many other Affini. Well, except for the suite of needle-thin injector flowers flared out behind its back. There was no greater threat than the drugs contained within them.”Well, well, hello there, little one,” it said, despite its lack of mouth. Blaise took a step back in terror. “Am I correct in my assumption that this is the command ship of your adorable little fleet?”Blaise shook his head and tore his gaze away from her sparkling, thrumming eyes and raised his pulse rifle, his finger pressing down on the trigger. A deafening crack echoed throughout the hall as the rifle unleashed a deadly bolt of bright blue plasma. Firing it in a confined space like this was not a wise idea, it could travel clean through the Affini and punch a hole in the hull. But Blaise could not think of anything else to do.When he opened his eyes, seeing stars from the shot, he saw to his dismay that it had no effect. This Affini was clearly made of some stronger stuff. His training said that pulse rifles could rip a hole clean through a weed on the higher settings! But this one just looked down on him with a mix of condescension and pity.”Oh, I would not have done that if I were you,” it said, its eyes flashing with shades of red. “This would have gone so much better for you if you had just answered my question.””Fuck you, weed!” Blaise cried, pulling the trigger again, and then a third time. His ears were ringing and the flashes were surely damaging his eyes, but he didn’t care. He was a Blackwood, a Rear Admiral of the Terran Rebellion! These were the finest personal weapons his force could get their hands on, they would see him win the day!But the Affini just stood there, unaffected by shots strong enough to rip a fighter apart. Tears beaded in Blaise’s eyes as he turned the power up as high as it would go, so high it flashed a warning sign on the small display facing him. There was a decent chance this next shot would rip the gun apart and kill him, but that would be better than being some stupid fucking pet.”Ah ah, none of that,” the weed said as it plucked the rifle from Blaise’s grasp. “As delightful as it is to sit here and watch your useless little light show, I cannot have you harming yourself. Now, is this the command ship of your fleet, little one?”Blaise snarled. “I’ll never tell you anything, weed!” He exclaimed, wiping sweat from his brow. “Terra forever!”The Affini rolled its eyes, then a lot of things happened very quickly. A pair of vines shot out and wrapped around each of his wrists, hauling Blaise up in the air despite his frantic kicks and struggles. Two of the weed’s many injectors stuck in his thighs, and another vine wrapped around his ankles and pinned them together. To top it off, the blasted weed produced one singular throned vine and ripped Blaise’s uniform to shreds. He shrieked and fought to cover himself, but the Affini gave him no room to do so. This was beyond humiliating! He was an officer, an elite member of the Rebellion! He ought to be treated with respect and dignity, not stripped and interrogated!”Now then,” the Affini said, its eyes narrowed and predatory. “You have been given Class D and Class H xenodrugs. You are now both incapable of lying and deeply susceptible to my gaze, my words, and my biorhythm. You needn’t worry yourself as to what a biorhythm is, as once I’ve extracted the information I need you won’t be able to think clearly enough to understand words that long.”Blaise opened his mouth to protest, only for the damn weed to stick a vine in his mouth. It was sweet and slick, and much to his embarrassment Blaise found himself sucking on it. He couldn’t help it! It was as though his body acted outside of his control, he couldn’t even bite down on the tendril in protest. With every pump of his lips up and down the vine, the fire burning in his belly grew weaker.”Some Class A to settle you, what a rambunctious little petal,” the Affini said, its eyes flashing. Each pulse sent waves over Blaise’s softening mind. “Now, when I remove this vine, I expect you to be compliant and eager to answer my questions. If you fail to meet these expectations, there will be consequences.”Blaise whimpered into the vine, unable to look away from the weed’s eyes. They really were beautiful, unlike anything he’d ever seen before. Six dazzling pink orbs, bottomless wells of magenta sparks. They hummed with a silent song that filled Blaise’s ears, prompting him to stop his struggles. Why would he fight against something so beautiful? The Affini withdrew the vine from his mouth, and Blaise let out a tiny little whimper. It tasted so good, why would it take away his treat? Oh, it was talking. He should probably pay attention.”-one more time, little sprout,” the Affini said. “Is this the command ship of your little fleet?””Yes, Miss-“ Blaise said, trailing off. It was probably rather rude of him to refer to such a beautiful creature as “the blasted weed” or other such things. The Affini’s eyes sparkled joyfully.”Bellis,” the Affini replied coolly. “Melisandre Bellis, Twenty-Third Bloom, she/her. And what is your name, little rebel?””Blaise Blackwood, Miss Bellis,” he answered, still unable to look away from her stupefying eyes. “I am a rear admiral in the Terran Rebellion, and the commander of this assault.”The Affini giggled. How was she doing that with no mouth. “Not much of an assault by my reckoning, little one,” she teased. “So am I to believe that you expected this to work? That you could destroy an Affini craft with weapons so obsolete to my kind that they are as good as slingshots?””Not destroy, Miss Bellis,” Blaise replied weakly, trying (and failing) to ignore the pair of vines exploring his body. “J-just to disable and capture. Well, um, we did plan to kill any captured Terrans. And when it was c-clear we lost, I initiated our self-destruct sequence.”Miss Bellis laughed again. It was a surreal sound. Airy and twinkling, yet with a depth that invited Blaise to lose himself in it forevermore. Some tiny corner of his mind screamed at him to resist, to stand up for the Terran ideals he dedicated himself to, but it was so difficult to hear that when he could just focus on Miss Bellis.”Such a naughty little boy you are,” the Affini cooed, and goosebumps erupted across Blaise’s body. “Such plans for so many deaths. Those self-destruct mechanisms were remotely deactivated the moment your ships were in range. And what had you planned on doing with the Affini aboard this craft, hmm?”“W-well, we were going to, um, b-burn and blast you until you were down to nothing but cores and store them away from any natural matter,” the captive admiral said. “I was told in training that a reblooming wee- uh, Affini needs to be planted in soil to return. We figured we could keep the specimens in artificial conditions until they could be contained and interrogated.”This time, Miss Bellis’ laughter was sharp and derisive. Blaise blushed, there was no need for that! It was a sound plan! Well, it had seemed sound at the time, anyway. Now that he’d seen what effect a pulse rifle had on Miss Bellis at point-blank range, he had to admit that maybe it was somewhat less sound than he told his crew it was.”Clearly, somebody made an error in trusting a little boy with such power,” Miss Bellis said, her eyes sparking with glee. “Don’t worry, my little darling. Once you’ve spilled all of your secrets to me, you won’t have to trouble your empty little head with all of that nonsense again.””H-hey!” Blaise protested, squirming in the vines binding him. “I’ve trained all my life for this position, Miss Bellis! Years at the academy, working my way through the ranks, doing my best to advance!”Miss Bellis held up a vine to silence him as she consulted a strange tablet computer. It was composed chiefly of plant life, and it looked to be almost alive. Blaise had never seen anything like it, but that wasn’t half as perturbing as the way her eyes narrowed in playful malice.”Trained all your life, that’s a very interesting way of putting it,” the Affini said as she redirected all six of her eyes back to her captive. “Records indicate both a Brendan and we Blake Blackwood, with high-ranking positions in the Terran Navy dating back more than seventy cycles. Now what do you think is more likely, little one? That a young man of average grades and little renown was placed in a position of authority due to his overwhelming merit? Or that your influential family pulled a few strings to get you a cushy job and a warm bed?”Blaise’s cheeks burned. Miss Bellis was being entirely unfair! It wasn’t his fault that he was born into his position. What was he meant to do, ignore the opportunities presented to him and follow a more difficult path for no reason? Father always said he was a champion of Terran work ethic, that all those teachers and supervisors were wrong about him!But when he opened his mouth to protest the Affini’s taunts, that was not what came out.”It seems more likely that I was placed in this position due to my name, Miss Bellis,” Blaise said, his tone shockingly chipper given the humiliating words pouring from his lips. “Father and Grandfather have a great many friends in high places, it would not do to have a Blackwood in a low place in the Rebellion. They saw to my promotion personally.”Miss Bellis chuckled warmly. “That’s a good sprout, so eager to spill his soul to me,” she said. She ran the tip of a vine up his spine and an electric thrill shot through his body. “So would you agree that maybe you don’t belong in a position of such power and relevance? That perhaps in truth, you are unsuited for it?”Blaise whimpered and paused for a moment to consider his answer. The plan he devised to capture an Affini ship had been an unmitigated disaster, and it had been his first mission with a real command. There had been dissent among the officers beneath him, who he’d jumped over without regard, but he dismissed them as shortsighted worrywarts. They were all probably going to be florets now.”I think you’re right, Miss Bellis,” he said with a sad squirm in her vines. “Power doesn’t suit me. D-do you know what might?”Creaking clicks and growls filled the hallway, and suddenly Blaise realized that he was trapped in the clutches of an alien monster. What was he doing?! Why was he asking a creature like this for hello in determining his purpose, this was insane! But one more look in her eyes was enough to placate him. Miss Bellis may be a terrifying, intimidating xeno, but she was still so beautiful. He could trust her.”As a matter of fact, little one, I do know what would suit you far better than playing ship captain,” she said, her tone soft and teasing. Blaise opened his mouth to correct her, only to find the xenodrug-soaked vine stuffed back between his jaws. He sucked on it obediently, letting the tingling pleasure wash over him once more, staring up at his Affini captor and letting her words wash over him as gospel.”I’m sure you’ve heard of florets, little love,” Miss Bellis said as more vines explored her captive’s body. “Sentient pets that live in absolute luxury and pleasure, any concerns of responsibility and power stripped from their psyches. You are to be a floret, my floret in fact. You’re going to make a beautiful pet, and I’m going to ensure you never know a moment of pain or longing again. But that is not all you will be for me.”There was a sting in Blaise’s neck, another one of Miss Bellis’ injector flowers was buried there. He whimpered briefly, what was she doing to him now?! Her neon pink eyes sparkled with mischief, and pleasure from the Class A-drenched vine in his mouth drowned any fear. If Miss Bellis was doing it to him, it had to be right. She knew what was best for him, and any anger about being her lazy pet was long gone by now. His righteous anger about the value of the Terran Accord were impossible to recall.”You are now full of a strain of Class W xenodrugs, sweet pea,” Miss Bellis said as vines wound around Blaise’s body. “With this concoction in your system, you will be unable to form any full words. You’ll be able to think them, at least until your implant takes hold, but your days of fluent Terran speech are gone. After all, words are for big, grown-up ship captains. And that’s not what you are anymore, is it?”Her eyes, which had been uncoordinated sparkling pools, suddenly lit up in vibrant rosy spirals. All six of them swirled in on themselves, drawing Blaise’s gaze in deeper and deeper. He shook his head in acquiescence to Miss Bellis’ question, barely comprehending it. Yes, of course he should never speak full words again. That made perfect sense. He was to be her floret, after all. If this is what would please her, he would do it without question.”That’s a good boy, so eager and excited!” Miss Bellis cooed, giving him pets. She held a daisy over his nose and it expelled massive clouds of pollen that he eagerly huffed. He whimpered as a pink haze fell over his eyes, unable to see that the new pollen was dyeing his irises pink. He felt dizzy and weak, more so with every breath. Was this how florets felt all the time? Why did he think this was so bad again?Miss Bellis took Blaise back into the admiral’s chambers, leaving the door open behind her. Blaise giggled, he’d been so silly to think a room like this was for him! This was home for a seasoned commander, somebody with the wisdom and grace to lead a proper fighting force. That’s not what he was! He was a silly little boy, a pet for Miss Bellis to play with and enjoy however she saw fit. He was so grateful to her for coming onto the ship and teaching him the order of things!”Now, you’re not just going to be a floret for me, little love,” Miss Bellis said as she laid him back on the bed that had once been his. “In a case like yours, where your mind was so twisted by feralism that you attempted violence to such a degree, more extreme measures are called for. You, Blaise, are to be my perfect, precious sprout.”She reached into her chest cavity, vines parting to allow it, and pulled out a strange pink… rectangle? It was several folded layers of crinkly material, an odd plastic Blaise had never seen before. It was covered in prints of rainbows, unicorns, and cutesy little bunny rabbits. Blaise cocked his head, confused. What did she mean by sprout, and how did this weird little package relate to it?Then she unfolded it, and suddenly it was crystal clear exactly what Miss Bellis meant. It was a diaper. A pink diaper! It was puffy and cutesy, he couldn’t wear that! Miss Bellis had to be joming, this was an intimidation tactic, maybe part of the interrogation? But if it was that, surely she wouldn’t have robbed him of the power of speech. She was serious. That diaper was going on him, and there was nothing he could do about it.Miss Bellis tied his wrists off to the bedframe with her vines, the Class A tendril still stuffed down his throat. He squirmed weakly, trying to resist the humiliating diaper, but she would have none of it. She ran a vine slicked with thick sap over the area between his legs, covering the whole region the diaper soon would in whiteness. It smelled nice, like flowers and pastries. He whimpered, she couldn’t do this! It wasn’t fair!Unfortunately, Miss Bellis did not deal in fairness. She slipped the diaper beneath his butt and expertly fastened it onto him. She moved with practiced ease, as though she had done it a million times before. It felt nice against his naked body, especially against his cock. Oh fuck, it had no business feeling that good against his cock. He was supposed to be humiliated, he couldn’t l-like this!”Truth be told, little one, I was excited when you fired upon me like that,” Miss Bellis said as she checked the diaper was secure all around. “Now I don’t have to go through some tedious, tiresome wardship where I have to pretend you have any hope of independence in the end. I get to domesticate you, here and now, in whatever way I see fit. And in my opinion, rabble-rousing Terrans like you are much better off treated like the precious babes you are deep down!”Blaise gulped. Strange, he suddenly really, really had to pee. He squirmed, he couldn’t just use the diaper like that! He couldn’t sink so low so quickly, he was Blaise Blackwood, dammit! He was supposed to be somebody, not a dumb little floret wetting a diaper like a baby! He pleaded with Miss Bellis silently, his pink eyes looking up at her own, searching for mercy. All they found were those bewitching spirals, looking down at him with cruel comfort. He knew then she wouldn’t let him up to relieve his bladder like a grown man. He couldn’t hold it forever. In fact, he couldn’t hold it another second. As Miss Bellis’ vines wrapped around his ankles and tied them off to the bedframe, pinning him down spread-eagle, he relieved himself into the pink padding with a shuddering, whimpering moan. No, no, no, this couldn’t feel that good! It was like a warm electric current funneling into his cock as he peed, pleasurable to the point Blaise could cry. Oh fuck, ohh fuck. His moan continued, muffled by the vine stuffed down his throat. He could do this forever, why not? Because Father wouldn’t approve? The only approval that mattered anymore was that of Miss Bellis, and he couldn’t do anything she would disapprove of right now.”My my, you’re even more of a sprout than I thought,” Miss Bellis mused. “Such a good little boy, that’s right. Use your diaper, that’s why it’s there. Make it all nice and wet, and Mommy will give you a treat! That sounds nice, doesn’t it little love?”Blaise nodded hard. A treat from Mommy did sound nice! Funny, he swore he was calling the Affini something besides Mommy a moment ago in his head, but now the name seemed to slip from between his fingertips. Oh well. If it was anything important Mommy was sure to remind him. He happily continued soaking his padding, squirming around in Mommy’s vines and letting the pleasure overwhelm his senses. He finally finished more than a minute later, the soaked diaper now twice as heavy as when he started. Mommy directed his gaze down to it with a helping vine, and Blaise blushed when he saw how much it had swollen. Goodness, had his bladder really been that full? Maybe some of Mommy’s xenodrugs had helped him make it so nice and full and… warm and… oh jellybellies, it felt like heaven!Blaise moaned as he ground his bits against the soggy padding, rolling his head back to look into Mommy’s eyes once again. He saw no cruelty or vindictiveness in them, just care for her newest sprout. He was lucky, he thought, to be in such a caring Affini’s vines. The spirals changed, now pulsing out in pretty pink hearts. They reflected in Blaise’s glassy, loving gaze.”Such a good little boy, now it’s time for your treat!” Mommy cooed. She pressed a vine down on either side of Blaise’s bits, the pressure alone enough to make him bite down on the vine in his mouth. But then the vines started vibrating, and white-hot bliss rushed over his body in moments.Blaise writhed against the vines holding him down, he’d never felt anything like this in his life! He’d had big kid playtime a few times at school and during training, but it never felt anything like this! Mommy’s vines and his soaked diaper felt like heaven. More of her vines wrapped around his body and pinned him down, making it harder and harder to struggle. His eyes fluttered, stars it felt good when Mommy restrained him like this. It reminded him that he was powerless with her, and it felt so good to be powerless.”Is my little sprout going to make stickies for Mommy?” The Affini whispered, leaning down so her eyes were right in front of Blaise’s own. He was, he could feel the fire burning in his bits. Any thoughts of this being embarrassing were long gone, this felt way too good to be upset about it! Staring into the pink lights bathing his face, Blaise tensed tight as a bowstring in Mommy’s vines. He was gonna… he was gonna…”MMMHHMMHHMGGHGHGGHHMMM!!!” Blaise screamed into Mommy’s vines, unleashing the stickies into his diaper. Mommy cooed and pet him through it, telling him what a good boy he was and how proud of him she was. Blaise glowed with pride, he did good! Mommy was proud of him! When the rush finally subsided, Mommy released her vines and encouraged her sprout to his feet. She withdrew the vine from Blaise’s mouth, but kept the daisy over his nose. Every breath brought in more of the sweet, bewitching pollen. He already had to pee again, and the thought excited him. Mommy surely couldn’t give him a treat like that every time he wet his diaper, but peeing was a treat in and of itself!”Now then, little sprout,” Mommy said as she bound Blaise’s hands behind his back. “We’re going to take a little walk to Mommy’s shuttle, then I’m going to take you home and introduce you to your new life. But first, we’re going to walk you past the crews of these ships and show them what a good sprout you are. Doesn’t that sound like fun?””Abawababa!” Blaise chirped. A rosy blush colored his cheeks at the thought of walking in front of the crew that had once been his, but they were the crew of Rear Admiral Blaise Blackwood. He was now Mommy’s little sprout, and maybe all that embarrassment would make his bits excited and strain in his padding! Just the thought of it had them stirring to life already. He bit his lip. All those officers he had leapt over for promotion would probably make fun of him.Mommy gave him a small push in the back with a vine and Blaise waddled forward on unsteady legs. The soaked diaper forced his legs apart and made it impossible to close them. A normal stride was out of the question, and that alone was enough to make him whimper. Nobody had even seen him yet and he was humiliated! It was a brief walk to the main hangar, where to his horror (and pleasure) nearly the full crew of all six ships was waiting! They were surrounded by Affini. Some had apparently come willingly and had full possession of their senses, others looked just as glassy-eyed and dumb as he must’ve. But he was the only one in a diaper as far as Blaise could tell.”My shuttle is docked outside, there’s a gangway proceeding into your adorable little hangar,” Mommy said, pointing a vine across the massive open space. Blaise looked at it and gulped. That was clear on the other side of the hangar, everybody would see! That was humiliating, why were his bits so excited about it?!Mommy gave him a little push and Blaise toddled out into the hangar, where eight thousand pairs of eyes found him. There were some gasps, but mostly giggles and snide comments. As he suspected, the older core of officers were the most pointed in their remarks.”About time he looked like what he is,” one said.”Look, he’s hard! He was made for this,” another snarked.Blaise kept his gaze straight forward as he walked, his hands resting in the vines keeping them pinned behind his back. Mommy wanted to show him off to the crew, so he would be a prize worthy of flaunting. He stood straight and tall, pressing his chest out and shaking his padded ass with every wide-set step. The chorus of laughter grew and grew, and Mommy made no move to stop it. This was his punishment for trying to kill her, and Blaise would not complain. He deserved such treatment. They finally reached the enclosed gangway on the other side of the hangar. Through the transluscent blue forcefield that kept the cold vacuum of space at bay, Blaise saw Mommy’s “shuttle,” a massive, luxuriant craft the size of ten of his ship’s personal fighters. His jaw dropped. If this kind of opulence was the standard for the Affini, he could only imagine what Mommy had waiting for him!”Come now little sprout, let’s take you home,” Mommy said as she coaxed Blaise into the gangway. “Mommy can’t wait to give you your Class G when you get home. You’re going to make such a beautiful little girl.”The chorus of laughter that followed that proclamation followed Blaise all the way down the gangway.END
