Times Are Grey
The sky is overcast, just another day,the weight of the world pressing down, but the breeze moves steady, brushing by—refreshing, cooling the heat of my mind, the churn of my thoughts—And my desperation. The weights I lift are heavy, and so is the weight of my heart, but my goal—it only lightens,as I move forward, step by step. I hold my lifeline close,a constant, a whisper,in each forgiving step, each breath forward. This is where I set to go—quiet, unwavering, through greying skies.
