Kara always snored when she slept. Caitlin always wore a matching set of pajamas when she slept. Kate… didn’t really sleep all that much.
It was more like staring into the night for a few hours. Her body just didn’t let a full hour pass asleep.
Caitlin snuggled into Kate. Her hair caught on Kate’s nose. Her sleeping self was happily hogging the blanket. Kara wrapped an arm around Kate, lazily. Even Kara’s lazy grasp was basically a stronghold. Kate didn’t mind, though.Caitlin’s smell and Kara’s touch were a good enough lullaby for her. She finally closed her eyes.
