It was Valentine's day, wich on the Elliot manor didn't meant much because the bosses thought it was an "useless and silly festivity". It was kind of sad seeing such a big an elegant manor so empty and quiet at this time of the year, but many worker drones that worked as servants still celebrated secretlt on their free time. Two worker drones, a boy butler and a girl maid with glasses named N and V respectivily, had just finished their usual cleaning duties.-Great work for today V!- N said going up to V -Hey...are you fre--Don't you think everything has been unusually quiet today?- V said interrupting him-Now that you mention it...nobody has yelled at us for slacking off--The bosses are all out except for Tessa, but I haven't seen J in all day. Maybe we should look for her?--Sure! I love doing anything!-They both started searching around the mansion and asking all the worker drones if they had seen J, but they all answered that they hadn't seen her in all day either. They eventually sat at the bar of the manor to take a break from the search.-I'm getting worried- V said scared when they still had no news of J -What if she got in trouble?! You know how cruel can be the adult bosses with punishments!--Hey there calm down- N said patting V on the back -It's J we're talking about, she never gets in trouble, besides Tessa wouldn't let anything happen to her-Suddenly a short female drone came out from behind of the bar's counter holding a teacup full of oil, her name was Cyn, V flinched from the surprise.-Hi big brother N and V, wave- Cyn said in her usual really robotic voice while waving at them-Oh hey Cyn!- N said in a cheerfull tone -I didn't know you were on bar duty today--It is really fun, light sip- she said and then tilted the teacup as if to drink but ended up spilling all the oil on the floor without reacting -you two seem upset--We are looking for J- V said -have you seen her?--J? She is on the kitchen, she asked to not bother her--Let's go check on her N--Could I join too?--Of course! The more the merrier!- N saidCyn then rolled over the counter, fell sitted on the floor and then stood up and started walking with her back bented like nothing happened, N and V followed her. They all arrived to the kitchen door and N then opened it; inside there was a female maid drone with pigtails, it was J.-What are you doing here?!- J screamed when she noticed all the drones at the door.-Cyn told us where you were- V said while Cyn just waved with a smile.-I knew I shouldn't have told that damaged drone where I was!--What are you doing here? We have been looking for you- V said-Yeah, you haven't insulted us or told us to work the whole day- N said-Well, if you two must know I'm trying to prepare a dinner-N and V then noticed a few plates of food on the kitchen table that looked like they were made by Gordom Ramsay himself.-These look awesome J!- N said looking at the food-Of course they do, but do they taste awesome?-Robots couldn't eat normal food so none of the drones in the room could tell if anything of what J made actually tasted good, J was always a perfectionist but it wasn't usual for her to be insecure about something she made.-Why don't you just ask Tessa to taste the food like always?- N askedJ didn't answer that.-Wait, is the food for Tessa?- V asked-GET OUT! EVERYONE OUT OF THE KITCHEN!!!- J screamed and then pushed everyone out and slammed the door behind them.-J is in a bad mood- Cyn said-That was obvious already Cyn- V said-But why? We have cooked for Tessa many times and she never got like this- N asked-Well, today is Valentine's day, usually on this day humans and drones do things for their loved ones to show their feelings- V explained -that should mean--J has a crush on Tessa!- Cyn interrupted-J having a crush on Tessa?- N said as if the thought alone sounded imposible.-Well they hang out together all the time, and she always looks a little grumpy when Tessa shows you attention- V said-That's true, but I just can't picture J having a crush, she is always so strict and a little mean--But she always is nicer when Tessa is around, I think is safe to say J likes Tessa-Suddenly a human young girl with a dress and a bow on her short hair came over to them, it was Tessa. Drones were all shorter than humans so she towered over them.-Hey guys- she said -Have you seen J? I just finished helping the drones clean and I haven't seen her--Tessa!- N gasped in surprise -well...--She is in the kitchen- Cyn said -she is cooking for you--Cyn!- V said scolding Cyn-I shouldn't know about it?- Tessa asked-I believe J wanted it to be a surprise- V explained -she has been working on it all day-Tessa sighed and said that she would handle it so all the drones decided to leave, then she opened the door of the kitchen.-What is it now?!- J screamed with annoyance but then panicked when she saw who it was -Tessa?!!- J frantically tried to hide all her dish attemptsTessa then noticed the page that was opened on the recipe book, it was for chocolate cookies.-Are you making cookies?- she asked-No...- J answered obviously lyingTessa went to one of the cookie plates, took a cookie and ate it.-This is delicious J!- she exclaimed with happiness-Really?! I mean- scoffs -of course it is, I made it- J said trying to sound confident-You know, I was wondering if you wanted to cook something with me, they say cooking together is a great way to bond!--I mean...I guess I have nothing better to do- she said trying to sound nonchalant-Great!- Tessa then took the recipe book that J was using and showed her a recipe for cheesecake -I saw this recipe and really wanted to make it but I suck at cooking, can you help me?--Cheesecake? Easy--Great! But first let me put these cookies on the fridge, we can't let your great cooking go to waste- Tessa did that and then quickly came back -What do we need chef?--We're going to need brick cream cheese, sugar, sour cream, eggs and graham craker crust. I went shopping recently so we should have everything-Tessa runs off to get the ingredients while J was washing and preparing the utensils. One by one she brings them all since they're too many to bring them all in one travel.-Now what?- Tessa said after bringing the last ingredient-Now we cover our springform pan with the crust, we need to use exactly only one tablespoon- J said after helping Tessa put on her apron-I'm sure it doesn't need to be exactly that--Do you want it to be perfect or not?- J said while holding the pan-You're the boss-J starts putting the crust to show Tessa how it's done.-See? Not hard, try it-Tessa takes the spoon and starts applying the crust on the pan, but her work is sloppy so J takes her hand to guide her.-I did it!- Tessa exclaimed with excitment once they finished-Now we put the cheese cream, is basically the same process than the crust-Tessa took the a spoon of the cream and started applying it, she was doing better so J decided to let her do it on her own. Once she finished she jumped of happiness.-Now onto our next step, making the cheesecake water bath- J explained-We're going to give it a bath?- Tessa asked-Not like that- J said right after facepalming -We just need to put water on this and bake it--Why?--There's a whole explanation on the process but I don't want to bore you with that, just imagine that is a snobbish dessert that wants a spa--So like my mom-J couldn't help laughing at that. They then put the water and then placed to cake on the oven.-Now we need to wait until it's done baking and after that we left it an hour on the turned off oven for it cool- J explained-So this is going to take a long time--Pretty much--Want to play cards while we wait?--Sure-Tessa went to her room to get her deck of cards, then they both played on the kitchen until the chronometer beeped indicating than a hour had passed and the cake was cool and ready to eat. J opened the oven and then slowly took the cake out while Tessa watched impatiently.-It looks great!- Tessa said with stars in her eyes while she looked at the just made cheesecakeJ then took a knife and cutted a slice that she handed to Tessa.-Ummm! This is so delicious!!- Tessa said between munches as she ate the slice -Thank you so much for your help J!--Even though I made most of the work- J said with a chuckle and then she looked away in embarrasment and added in a whisper -Happy Valentine's day Tessa...-Tessa heard this and then setted her slice down, crouched to J's height and hugged her.-Happy Valentine's day J, it was my best Valentine ever- Tessa said and J hugged her back -I have never gotten a Valentine's day before--I know- J said in quiet tone -you taught me that on this day you do something to make happy the people special to you, so I wanted to do something perfect for you--It was perfect J, thank you-
