Mina and Gina fly into view before changing into brooches of four-pointed stars bearing their colors. They attach themselves to Mario and Luigi’s clothing before launching gold and silver bursts of light into the air. Both brothers take each other’s hands before holding their free hands in the air.
“Spirit Power!” they exclaimed.
A pillar of fire and ice energy launches up from below their feet. Still holding hands, the brothers fly through the air, their clothing changing thanks to the Spirits in brooch form. The two of them let go of each other’s hands.
Mario performs a flip before the light breaks apart into his classic look before Luigi follows suit. The colors of their clothes are reversed with crown symbols on the cuffs of the pants. Their shoes have taken a light brown hue. Their hats soon appear on their heads in flashes of gold and silver light.
The red-clad plumber touches down on the ground with his pin shining gold. There’s a burst of silver light from Luigi’s pin that dispels the energy pillar. Luigi touches down next to his brother. The two of them strike a pose, ready for a fight.
“Formchange: Second!” they declare together.
