Eddie walked into the room, finding himself face-to-face with Harley Sawyer. The man was many parts separated, and Eddie might've felt some sort of satisfaction at one point. He felt nothing now, no shred of interest besides the fact Harley Sawyer is stripped of his dignity.He became what he is, sown and patched into his own monster, no longer recognizable as all other experiments. A touch sadistic on Leith Pierre's part, but there was always that slight bit of insanity when it came to the group of them. Always holding tight to that thin thread, waiting for it to break, waiting to fall.The screen flickered, and the eye twitched, there was a grumbling sound that came from the TV. Eddie knew Harley Sawyer was completely displeased by the sight of him."Well, would you look at that…you've run out of scapegoats.""Ah, here to gloat, Ritterman…" Harley Sawyer growled, the feat undeniable and strange, but he still spoke as much as he thought, and as much as he gave up his information, his rather inquisitive intellect. He'd rather gloat more than Eddie who simply stood with his hands tucked in his pockets, barely any pity to offer."How are you going to lie and blame someone else now?" Eddie wondered."I've only ever spoken the truth!" The grumbling grew stronger with Harley Sawyer's rage, his impatience and disgust.Eddie was curious if he was even remotely real, if this was a facade of its own making. He'd like to think it was, but the credit would always remain with Leith's decision to force Harley Sawyer into a cage. "The funny thing is…" Eddie walked closer to the screen, "that I just don't believe you…and no one does anymore.""Get out…I don't want to see nor hear you."Eddie scoffed, and left the room. There were better things to deal with now that Harley Sawyer was handled quite well. With all that anger, there wasn't much to put it into. He was stuck where he was, exactly how Leith wanted him to be.Broken, but imperative to their work.
