Hour: 2:24 amJack:7 years old
Scylla: 5 years oldIt was a quiet night in the house of mystery, everybody was fast asleep on their rooms, well, everyone except Scylla.She was sleeping just minutes ago, but a nightmare interfered with her dreams and the next thing that happened it was her sitting on the bed breathing heavily and looking around the room looking for something -no- someone.Scylla got out of her bed and slowly put her feet on the cold floor of their room, their, her and her's brother room, she slowly moved to the stair next to her bed and climbed it
Until she was sitting on the bed that was above her own bed.She stared some seconds at the sleeping form on it, her brother Jack was fast asleep and not aware of the intruder on his bed, until a hand pushed his shoulder which started to wake him upJack: ugh...what time is it..?He didn't like being waken up, that's for sureJack: Scylla? What are you doing here? Go to your bedScylla: i can't sleep...i had a nightmare and-Jack: well if you had a nightmare then go to dad's room!She couldn't finish her explanation when Jack already told her to go out of there, she still didn't stop anywaysScylla: but my nightmare wasn't something that dad can solve! My nightmare was about you...Jack was between burst out laughing or try to calm her sister down, he choose the last one to be betterJack: about me? Did something happened at me? That's why you're all worried about?Scylla nodded fastly while looking at him with watery eyesScylla: i can't remember exactly... But in my nightmare i losed you! You weren't my brother anymore and i was alone! And i don't want you to be away from me...Jack: alright i get it! Jeez...He sat in the bed and looked at Scylla in silenceJack: so what do you want me to do about it?...maybe if you're worried you can sleep with meScylla's eyes shone along with her face, she clearly wanted thatScylla: Yes! That way i'll make sure you don't escape from me!The siblings laughed silently and Jack laid down in the bed again, making sure to leave some space for herJack: alright let's go back to sleep i don't want to do a sleepover tonightScylla nodded and crawled next to him and she immediately lay down hugging her little shark stuffed animal
They were both in silence, slowly falling asleep but there was something more that Scylla needed to knowScylla: do you think...that we are siblings in every universe?Jack: i don't think so, in fact, i don't even like you in this oneScylla: oh...Just when she was about to hide her face into her stuffed animal a small chuckle made her look into her brother's directionJack: i'm just kidding! Of course i like you and i absolutely think that we are siblings in every other universe...and if we don't...i'll still be there to protect youScylla: you promise?Jack: i promise...now sleep little pup...Hours later when it was early morning John entered the room, he slowly made his way to to their children's bunk bed, he was confused when he didn't saw Scylla on her bed, but all that confusion left his body when he looked up into his son's bed.They were both in the bed sleeping, Jack had both arms around her as if unconsciously trying to protect her from any kind of danger.Since that was what siblings do for each other
