Living with two men was interesting to say the least. Your roommates Satoru’s and Suguru were always pretty good about staying neat and doing their chores, but at the end of the day, they were still college boys. They would drag you out to parties with them, bring girls home, and most often, just bug you because they felt like it.
You met Suguru your freshman year. You were both in the same art history class and you just so happened to be sat next to the last empty seat when he’d arrived. He was quiet. He never really talked much unless you initiated conversation. You weren’t sure if it was out of courtesy not to bother you or if he was just genuinely disinterested in speaking to you.
You met Satoru your junior year. The two boys were best friends since they had met in high school, but you really never understood why they clicked so well. Satoru was practically the most popular person on the entire campus. He was one of the best college track athletes in the entire country, insanely smart, and incredibly attractive. You always found it odd that Suguru was able to blend with someone with such a loud personality like his.
That is until you started living with the pair.
As the boys got more comfortable with you around, you started to realize Suguru was a lot more similar to his best friend than most people would think. When they were together it was like he was a brand new person. The two would get themselves into stupid trouble, sometimes getting you involved in it too. Once they became more comfortable with you being a part of their friendship, they started to bug you too.
You didn’t mind though, of course. You wouldn’t be living with them still if it was that big of an issue.
Today it was Satoru who barged into your room after just one knock. You were still half asleep, scrolling through videos on your phone when your door was pushed open. You looked up to see the older of your two roommates peeking through the door frame.
“We’re going to Red’s tonight at 9.” He informed you, not even giving you a moment to decline the invite before shutting the door. You look back to your phone. seeing it was already 10am anyways so you should probably be getting up out of bed.
You sat on your bedroom floor in front of your floor length mirror, your makeup spread out all around you since you didn’t have room for a vanity. Hours had passed since Satoru woke you up this morning. When you talked to your roommates later about not really wanting to go out, they both told you that you had a stick up your ass. Something about senior year starting soon and then working until you die once you graduate. You finally gave in and told them you’d go out with them as long as they’ll pay for the ride there. You stared at yourself in the fingerprint covered mirror, looking at your hair that was almost completely dry from your shower. Your eyes trailed down to your face, looking over every little pore or blemish. You wondered if it was even worth it to go out tonight.
A knock at your door pulled you back into reality. You knew from the fact that the door didn’t open immediately that it was Suguru.
“Come in.” You called out as you picked up your primer to start your makeup.
Suguru opened the door, walked in and sat on your bed behind you. You looked up at him through the mirror. “You’re usually more up to go out.” He pointed out. He wasn’t wrong, you loved spending time partying with your friends. “What’s wrong?”
You just shrugged as you blended product into your skin, your eyes drifting back down to your face. “Just nervous for senior year, I guess.” You muttered out your lame excuse. It wasn’t a complete lie, although it was more so anxiety over what happens after college. You were that much closer to being thrown into the real world and you weren’t completely ready for it.
The boy behind you offered a warm smile, his long hair shifting to fall over his shoulder. “You’ll be fine. We still have some classes together, don’t we?” He said, trying to lighten your spirits. “How about first drink’s on me, yeah?” He raised an eyebrow.
You paused, turning to face him behind you. A small grin spread across your face. “Yeah, I think that sounds good to me.” You nodded.
Suguru chuckled. He knew there was no way you’d say no to a free drink. He scrolled through his phone and stayed in your room to chat while you continued getting ready. This was your favorite side of the boys. They were always there for you whether you were upset, anxious, or just wanted someone to do something fun with. Sure you had other friends, but these two were literally just a few feet away.
Satoru poked his head into your room, his glasses sliding down his nose slightly as he did. “Why’d no one tell me we were pregaming in here?” He asked, his nose scrunching in fake anger.
You ignored the comment as you continued to blend out your eyeshadow. The boy behind you let out a dramatic sigh. “I guess the party’s over.” He teased.
“I know, right?” You joked along with him.
The white haired boy rolled his eyes, sitting beside you on the floor and leaning his back on your bed. The three of you talked and gossiped while you finished your hair and makeup. You went for a softer look since you were only going to the bar instead of a club or a frat party like you normally would. Red’s was somewhere you (and basically the entirety of your college campus) would go for cheap drinks and an excuse to hang out. You always felt safe going there, but you admitted to yourself a while back it was because you always went with your roommates.
“Maybe (Y/N) will get a boyfriend this year.” Satoru teased, earning a soft kick from his friend on the bed behind him.
“Maybe I will.” You shrugged, glancing his way in the mirror. “And maybe you’ll finally settle for one girl.” You shot back.
He scoffed as you and Suguru laughed. “Y’know, I would be disappointing a lot of lovely young women by choosing just one for the rest of my life.”
“Ew, dude.” Suguru muttered as he stood up. “On that note, I’m changing.” He said as he slipped out of the room.
You turned your curling iron off, setting it on an empty space on your dresser after unplugging it. “Go. I need to change, too.” You told the boy who was still sitting on your floor before opening your dresser drawers to sort through what clothes you wanted to wear tonight.
Satoru stayed put, not fully processing what you just told him. His eyes were glued to you. The way your hair fell over your face as you looked down into your drawers was mesmerizing to him. He watched your long, fluffy lashes flutter each time you blinked.
Ever since he met you almost two years ago, he always thought you were absolutely beautiful. You, however, never seemed too interested in ‘his type’. Sure, you two were good friends now, but that didn’t mean you’d ever want to date him.
“Satoru!” You raised your voice at him slightly.
The boy snapped back into focus, now looking at the folded clothes in your hands. “Sorry.” He cleared his throat, standing up.
“Are you okay?” You asked him, stepping closer to set your clothes on top of your bed.
You were always close to the boys. It’s hard not to be when you’re living in just over 1000 square feet together. Right now, however, you felt impossibly close to Satoru.
He nodded a bit awkwardly and stepped aside. “Yeah, I- uh- I got lost in thought, y’know?” He gave you a small smile that was still ever-so-charming despite his demeanor right now.
You nodded, raising an eyebrow at him. “Okay…” You mumbled.
He finally left, shutting the door behind you to leave you with some peace and quiet to get changed.
The three of you finally arrived at Red’s, just after 9pm. It was packed. Music played loudly from the speakers, people were lined across the entire counter of the bar. You watched as Satoru took the lead, walking in front of you and Suguru to find a bit of open space. You felt a hand on your lower back, turning your head to find your roommate helping you through the crowd of people.
“You scared me.” You laughed as you let him gently push you forward.
Suguru smiled down at you. “Sorry!” He shouted over the music. You broke through the initial cluster of people by the door, finally making it to a bit of open space toward the center of the room.
“You two stay here, I promised (Y/N) I’d buy her a drink.” Suguru explained.
Satoru looked down at you then back at his friend. “Oh, so you’re trying to be her favorite?” He asked jokingly, receiving a shrug in response. “Fine, I’ll buy her a drink, too.”
You laughed at them. “Ladies, please! No need to fight over me!” You reached up to put a hand on each of their shoulders, giving both of them a playful shake. “But I will take you both up on your offers. You know what I like.” You grinned.
Suguru nodded and turned to walk toward the bar. You looked up at Satoru who was now looking at you.
“How charming are you? Already got two free drinks and we haven’t even been here for a full minute.” He laughed.
“Actually,” You glanced down at your phone screen. “We’ve been here for a minute and a half now.”
The two of you laughed together, meeting up with a few of your other friends who came out tonight. You all caught up with each other, talking a little about what everyone did over the break, who’s going out or hooking up with who, and whatever else might pique each others interests.
Suguru joined back up with you after a few minutes, greeting everyone who showed up while he was getting your drink. You thanked him as he handed you your cup, immediately taking a few sips. Your face twisted from the strong taste of alcohol. You knew the drinks at Red’s were strong, but you always seemed to forget just how strong they were until you had your first sip. You and your friends all laughed at your reaction before carrying on with the night.
It was close to midnight. The bar started to clear out a bit, but it was still crazy packed. You sat at a high top with Suguru as the rest of your friend group were off either dancing or playing darts. You had a few drinks throughout the night, thanks to your roommates for arguing over who you liked better, and you definitely felt the buzz.
“You alright?” Suguru asked as you zoned out, watching as Satoru missed the dart board completely.
You laughed to yourself at his failure. “M’good!” You mumbled, tilting your head to look at your roommate. His long hair was pulled back, a few pieces hanging in front of his face. His soft features were painted a faint purple from the neon lights around the bar. Of course you always found him at least a little attractive, but right now, you couldn’t take your eyes off of him.
“Do you feel any better than you did earlier?” He asked you. You watched him lift his beer, his lips connecting to the bottle as he took a sip.
You bit your lip as your cheeks flushed. There was no way he didn’t catch you staring at him the way you were. “Yeah… Yeah, I think I feel better.” You nodded, prying your eyes off of him and looking back over at your other friends.
You noticed Satoru’s blue eyes locked onto yours. Your eyes darted to your lap, blush rising through your face to your ears. “Is it hot in here?” You asked, mostly to yourself.
The boy across the table shook his head. “I feel fine.” He said. He reached a hand out to grab your arm gently. “Do you wanna step outside for a moment?”
Goosebumps raised all throughout your skin as you looked to where his hand connected with your arm. “That’s fine.” You nodded. “I mean, yeah, let’s go.” You stuttered awkwardly.
The two of you get up from your table, walking out the side door to a small, empty smoking area. The cold air hit your face, bringing a sense of calm to your racing heart. You look up at the moon through the few trees, taking a few breaths.
“Thanks.” You muttered, leaning back against the brick wall of the building, the coolness taking the heat from your skin.
Suguru nodded, shoving his hands into the pickets of his black jeans. You both stayed quiet for a few moments, letting the cold, quiet air surround you. Your eyes made their way back to your friend, looking at the way the pale moonlight made his smooth skin shine. You weren’t sure what was drawing you to him at the moment. Maybe it was the alcohol, maybe it was just something you hadn’t realized you wanted until tonight, but no matter what it might’ve been, you couldn’t stop staring at him.
He took a step closer to you, resting his shoulder on the wall. “Do I have something on my face?” He asked, a small smirk painted on his lips.
Your eyes were locked onto his as you shook your head. The heat that just left your body found it’s way back to your cheeks. “No.” You answered, dropping your gaze to your shoes. “Sorry.” You muttered quietly.
Suguru smiled to himself at your flustered actions. “It’s fine.” He chuckled, looking at your side profile. He paused for a moment before speaking up again. “I think you look really pretty tonight.”
You bit your lip, not having the courage to look up at him. You were afraid of the consequences of whatever this would turn into if you continued. You simply nodded. “Thank you.” You said quietly, the hum of the music inside vibrating the wall behind the two of you. You took a deep breath, trying to calm yourself down. You move your head to the side to finally look at Suguru.
The look on his face was slightly different from his usual warm and inviting resting face. There was something else hidden in there. The two of you stayed like that for a few seconds, which felt like an eternity to you. You looked into each other's eyes, neither of you daring to break eye contact or move away from each other. In that moment, it was like you had completely sobered up. Every thought running through your mind was as clear as day.
Your mind was silenced as you felt Suguru’s warm hand on your nape, pulling you closer and pressing his lips onto yours. You gasped against his mouth and melted into him. You pulled yourself closer to him as you both wrapped your arms around each other.
You pulled back slightly, your forehead resting against his. “We shouldn’t do this.” You spoke softly.
Suguru sighed. “Why not?” He asked, his lips moving from your lips to your jawline. He planted warm kisses along your cool skin, making your head spin.
“We live together!” You pointed out. Your body was betraying your words, leaning into his movements at every second. “It just wouldn’t end well.”
He shook his head. “Not if there’s no attachments.” He leaned back to look at you.
You raised an eyebrow. “What are you saying?” You asked.
Suguru rubbed small circles against your back with his thumbs. “I’m saying we just hook up. No feelings involved.” He shrugged. “Because no offense, as beautiful as I think you are, I know we wouldn’t last longer than a month as more than friends.”
You laughed at his comment and nodded. “I know. I wish your future girlfriend nothing but luck.” You looked at him, thinking over his offer.
Suguru rolled his eyes, his lips going back down to your neck. You let out a breathy sigh, moving your hand up his back to the back of his head. You couldn’t deny it, you were insanely horny right now. And her Suguru was, offering to help you out. You couldn’t think of a reason why not to say yes, especially after he promised there would be no attachments.
“Fine.” You mumbled, pushing him off of you and grabbing his arm. “But you’re telling everyone we’re leaving.” You told him as you tugged him toward the door.
You let yourselves back inside, the hot air instantly sticking to your bodies as you moved through the crowds. Your friends were all still gathered by the dart boards, laughing loudly in between their turns.
“You want a turn?” Satoru smiled at you, holding out a green dart to you.
Suguru shook his head and gently pushed his hand away before you could give an answer. “She’s got a pretty killer headache. I told her I’d take her home early.” He explained. You nodded, trying your best to play along with your friend’s story.
Satoru pouted a little, his eyes not leaving your small frame. “Awe, our poor girl.” He dropped his hand to his side. “You guys don’t mind if I stay out?” He asked.
You and Suguru shook your heads at the same time. “I’m just gonna go to bed once she’s all set anyways.” The black haired boy shrugged.
The two of you finished saying your goodbyes to your friends, giving everyone a small hug, before you went outside to meet with your ride. You state glued to Suguru’s side, looking up at him as he watched the driver move across the map on his app.
“Is this stupid?” You asked him, breaking the silence between you.
Suguru looked down at you. “If you don’t want to do anything, we don’t have to.” He told you. “Like I said, no attachments. That means before, during, and after.”
You nodded. Your mind was racing. There were so many things that could go wrong from this. Some of them were more likely than others, but you couldn’t stop yourself from thinking about it all. As much as your brain was telling you no, it was also equally screaming yes. It was just this once, no one would get hurt, right?
Your ride finally arrived and you followed your roommate into the back seat. You sat in an awkward silence, at least for you. Suguru seemed calm and collected, as usual. He never really seemed to get nervous, especially not over something as simple as a one night stand. You looked over at him and watched as he leaned his head back against the headrest. His eyes drifted shut for a few moments. Your eyes traced over his jawline, then down his neck and to his broad chest. You bit your lip, finally coming to the decision that, yeah, you definitely wanted this right now.
The car pulled up to your apartment complex and let you both out. Suguru’s hand found it’s way to your back as you walked into the large building. Your heart fluttered at the gentle touch. You were certain you didn’t have feelings for Suguru, no definitely not after the two of you came to the conclusion one day that he was the male equivalent of yourself, but you couldn’t help but feel at least a little swooned over the way he was acting.
You got to the door of your apartment and dug through your purse to find your keys. Suguru’s hands grabbed either side of your waist, moving to stand directly behind you. He tucked his head down, kissing along your neck and shoulder. You finally pulled your key out of you bag, making a mental note to clean it out in the morning, before sticking it into the doorknob and unlocking it.
Suguru pushed the two of you through the door, kicking it closed behind him. He used his hands that were already on your waist to turn you around to face him. You dropped your bag onto the floor and wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling yourself into him and pressing your lips together. You both let out a soft sigh into each other's mouths as your lips moved against each other. You felt his hands move along your body.
You pulled him further into the living room. Suguru quickly took back initiative, using his hands on your back to bring you deeper into the apartment. He broke apart from your lips, removing his hands from your body and reconnecting one to your wrist. He guided you into his bedroom, shutting the door behind both of you before shoving your back against it. The thud of your body caused a shelf hung on his wall to shake.
You’ve had your fair share of hook ups or ex boyfriends, definitely not as many as your roommates have, but this experience felt brand new. You’ve never had someone be so assertive toward you or someone who was so quick and smooth with his movements. You can’t help but let out a soft moan as your back collided with the wooden door.
A smirk spread across Suguru’s lips as he pinned you to the door. His mouth trailed along your neck, leaving sloppy kisses and small bites. You bit your lip, leaning your head back against the wall. “Suguru-“ You gasped out as he bit down just above your collarbone. You felt as his hands slipped under your shirt. You lifted your arms, allowing him to pull your top off over your head.
Suguru pressed his body against yours. You felt his hard cock through his jeans as his hands worked their way around your back. His expert fingers carefully unhooked your bra, tossing it aside like he had with your shirt. “Holy fuck.” He muttered under his breath as he drank in the details of your body. He looked at the way your skin shined in the sim light of his room.
Heat rose to your cheeks as you watched him stare at your body. You tried to subtly redirect his attention elsewhere, feeling shy about showing him your body like this. You tilted your head slightly, attempting to capture his lips in yours once again. Suguru moved his head back, making you miss him completely. “Don’t worry.” He said in a low tone. “I’ll take care of you.”
He pulled you from the door a few feet over to his bed, leaning you back onto the mattress. He climbed on top of you, his body trapping you beneath him. You reached your hands to pull him back to tour lips before he stopped them in their place. In one swift movement, he took both of your wrists onto one of his large hands, pinning them both against the mattress above your head.
“Suguru~” You whined out, earning a small hum of acknowledgement from your friend above you.
“God, you’re so needy.” He taunted as his free hand cupped your cheek. He pressed his lips against yours and pressed his groin against your own, sending aches of pleasure throughout your body.
You moaned in response, bucking your hips up to meet his. “Please, stop teasing.” You begged.
Suguru grinned at you and ran his thumb over your bottom lip. “You’re quite impatient.” He mumbled, slipping the thumb past your lips. His eyes were glued to your mouth as you sucked on his finger and let out a soft whimper. “I didn’t take you to be so meek.”
You let out a small gasp as he drew back both of his hands. You propped yourself up on your elbows as the man in front of you pulled his shirt over his head, dropping it behind him. You’ve seen both of your roommates shirtless about a thousand times, it was something you never thought twice about, but now, you were practically starstruck. Your eyes followed every line and dip of his muscles along his chest and torso. His hands came down to undo his belt. You moved your own hands to help him rid himself of his belt and his jeans, leaving him in just his tight black briefs.
Your eyes were glued to the way the fabric hugged every curve of his body. His hard length pressed against the material, as if begging to be let out. “Woah.” You muttered, not even realizing you had just said that out loud.
Suguru laughed a little. “What? You never seen a dick before?” He joked, his thumbs hooking under the waistband of his briefs before pulling them down.
You looked back up at his face. “Of course I have!” You defended yourself. “It’s just, I don’t know I never really thought about yours, I guess.”
Suguru grinned and sat beside you on the bed. He leaned his back up against his pillows, gently leading you to be sat in front of him. “I’m only joking, darling.” He said as he ran his fingers through your hair. The gentle touch turned into one that was slightly rougher as he gripped a fistful of your hair. “Now let me see you use that pretty mouth.”
He used the hair in his hand to guide your head down. You reached one of your own hands out and wrapped your fingers around the base of his cock. You opened your mouth and stick your tongue out slightly, letting Suguru push your head down his length. The feeling of your warm, wet mouth earns a low moan from your roommate. You continued bobbing your head and working your tongue along him as he gripped your hair tighter.
“Fuck, you’re good at this.” He praised, tilting his head back against the headboard. You looked up at him through your lashes. His free hand was up by his head, gripping onto the pillows behind him. His chest moved up and down as his breathing picked up. A thin layer of sweat coated his body, letting his skin shine in what little light there was in his room.
Suguru tugged on your hair and pulled your mouth off of him, leaving a thin trail of spit from your lip to the tip of his dick. “C’mere.” He muttered as he pulled you up to straddle his lap. He pulled at your shorts and panties as your lips moved to his collarbones, littering them in kisses and small bites. The man pulled off both items at once, letting them pool by your knees. You both chuckled at the way you lifted your legs one at a time to kick the garments off and onto the floor.
Once you were both completely rid of your clothing, Suguru pulled you back over his lap. He reached aside into his nightstand drawer, rummaging around until he found a condom. Your lips were still on his skin, leaving a few faint bite marks or sucking light bruises onto his neck. He placed the condom beside the two of you, dipping his hand down between your legs. You let out a soft moan as his fingertips finally came in contact with your folds.
“Fuck, you’re so wet.” Suguru hummed. He watched as you moved your hips slightly, as if begging him to slip his fingers inside.
“Yeah, I’ve been waiting for a while now.” You whined.
He gave you a sarcastic pout as he slowly pushed a finger up into you. “But you’ve been so good and patient.” He mocked your bratty tone. He pumped his finger in and out of your now soaked pussy.
You dug your fingers into his skin, pressing your lips against his once again. He bit down on your lip, pulling another moan from your throat. Suguru pushed another finger in, spreading the two slightly. You gasped again his mouth. “Please, Sugu~” You mewled. “I need you now.”
Suguru smiled as you spoke. “Okay, okay!” He gently removed his fingers, making you whine at the sudden loss. He picked up the condom next you him and tore it open. Both of you watched as he slipped it down his length. You bit your lip, resting your forehead against his.
He repositioned one hand to your waist, the other gripping the base of his cock as he pushed the tip into you. You both let out a simultaneous “Fuck” as you enveloped Suguru in your wet warmth. You slowly sank down in his lap, eyes screwing shut from the sudden intrusion.
“You alright?” Suguru asked, moving both hands to your hips.
You gave him a small nod, your eyes fluttering open to meet his. “Just been a while.” You give him a small chuckle. You let your body adjust for a few moments before you started to move your hips. You raised them up before slowly lowering them back down. You put your hands on either of Suguru’s shoulders, using them as leverage to build a more consistent pace.
Suguru used his hands on your hips to help guide you, bringing his hips up to meet yours with every bounce. Your moans and gasps filled the room as you built up speed in your movements. You felt as Suguru’s hand snaked up your back, tangling in your hair. With a slight tug, you tilted your head back, exposing your neck to him.
“You look so good riding my dick like that.” Suguru mumbled against your ear as he leaned closer to your body. Your arms wrapped themselves around him, pulling yourself closer to him as he continued to mutter praise in your ear.
Your head fell against his shoulder once his thumb started toying with your clit. He circled it in a quick rhythm, causing knots to build up in your stomach. You knew you couldn’t last long in this position. Your movements grew weaker as you inched closer and closer to your orgasm.
Suguru removed his hand from your hair, wrapping it tightly round your waist. He held you in place, thrusting up into you. “You gonna cum for me?” He growled in your ear as he fucked into you.
All you could do was moan and nod against his shoulder. Strings of his name and a mix of curse words fell from your mouth as the pressure in your core built up. You dug your nails into the skin on your friend’s back, earning an extra loud, low moan from him.
You reached your peak first, letting out something between a moan and a scream as you did. Your body released, waves of pleasure rushing through your body as your walls clenched around Suguru. He moaned loudly, his arm around your waist gripping you even tighter as he filled the condom. His movements slowed as he fucked you through your high.
His thrusts stopped entirely as he leaned even further back into the pillows. “Fuck.” He muttered. The two of you stayed that way for a little bit, both catching your breath, before he pulled out slowly.
You rolled onto the bed beside him, looking over at him. You let out a small laugh, causing Suguru to turn his head toward you. “We just fucked, dude.” You giggled.
Suguru rolled his eyes even though he was laughing a little too. You watched as he removed the condom, disposing of it in the small trash bin in his room. “You’re more than welcome to stay in here tonight. He said as he grabbed a pair of sweats from his dresser, slipping them on. “I’m not one to kick someone out.”
That you knew to be true. The amount of times you’ve been awake, preparing breakfast or just watching TV in the living room, and seen a girl trying to quietly leave Suguru’s room was too many to count at this point. You shrugged. “I’m just down the hall.” You said as you sat up. “But won’t you miss me too much?” You gave him a fake pout.
Suguru threw his shirt at you. “You might actually be the first one I do kick out.” He joked. He sat back down on his bed.
You slipped his shirt on and sighed. “Just don’t try cuddling with me.” You warned before you both laid down to get some sleep.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Suguru woke up the next morning with a pounding headache and mentally cursed at himself for not drinking enough water when he got home. He turned his head to find you fast asleep in his t-shirt, curled into a ball under the covers. A small smile appeared on his lips. He sat up slowly, careful to not wake you in the process.
‘How to lie about what happened last night’ He thought to himself. He knew Satoru was probably home and given that it was already close to 9:30 he would most likely be awake. There was also no way to your room from Suguru’s without your other roommate seeing, given that he was in the kitchen or living room area.
He grabbed a sweatshirt, slipping it on to hide the marks you’d left on his collarbones and praying that his hair hid any on his neck. He then dug through his dresser, looking for a pair of sweatpants to leave out for you when you did decide to wake up. He contemplated waking you up, but he figured it might somehow be more suspicious if you left his room at the same time. He set them on the foot of his bed before walking out into the rest of the apartment.
“Good morning!” Satoru called out from the couch, a plate of toast and bacon in his lap.
Suguru grinned, sitting beside him. “Morning.” He huffed as he plopped down. “How was the rest of your night?” He asked.
The white haired boy just shrugged. “Uneventful.” He said, taking a bite of his toast. “We left not that long after you guys and ended up just getting some food.” He explained with a full mouth.
“Dude, gross.” Suguru exclaimed, as if reminding him to have better manners. He gave his friend a playful shove.
Satoru nodded, finishing his bite and swallowing before he spoke again. “How was (Y/N)? I saw her purse on the floor when I got home.” He pointed to where he put it on the dining table.
Suguru’s heart sank, trying to quickly come up with a lie. “Yeah, man,” He started, his eyes glued to your bag. “Yeah, she kinda ran to the bathroom right away and threw up.”
“Ew.” The other boy scrunched up his nose. “I didn’t think she drank that much.”
Suguru shook his head. “Me neither. I was scared to leave her by herself so I let her sleep in my room.” He explained, a weight lifting off his shoulders as he was finally able to connect the dots in his made up story.
Satoru looked at his best friend, his chest tightening. He knew he would never lie and that sleeping in the same bed as you was just for your safety, as far as he was concerned, but he couldn’t help but feel a little jealous. He wished it was him that you asked to bring you home. He wished it was him that got to hold your hair back and calm you down while you were sick. He wished he were there to take care of you throughout the night. He nodded at his words, acknowledging he understood. “What a sweet boy.” He teased, reaching out to pinch his cheek.
Suguru just rolled his eyes, letting him do as he pleased.
You finally woke up almost an hour later. You groaned as the light from outside shone through the blinds, directly onto your face. You sat up, looking around the familiar room. You took in the sights of posters and vinyls scattered over the wall and the faint smell of marijuana surrounding you. Memories from last night flooded your head.
“Fuck.” You muttered to yourself. You looked to the end of the bed, noting the pair of sweatpants you assumed Suguru left out for you. You slipped them on and looked in the mirror. The clothes swallowed you up. You were already smaller than your roommate, but the added fact he pretty much only wore baggy clothes made you look ridiculous in them. You sighed, opening the door prepared to face Satoru’s mockery.
“You’re alive!” Satoru’s voice rang through the living room as you stepped out of the bedroom. “Suguru said you were sick as a dog!”
Your eyes fell on Suguru who nodded, as if asking you to play along. You look back to you white haired roommate. “Yeah. I guess my drinks were stronger than normal or something.”
“Do you feel better?” He persisted.
You nodded, sitting on the small seat that matched your couch. “I’d say so, yeah.” You smiled at him. “Suguru’s a good doctor.”
Suguru cleared his throat. “I just care about my friends.” He smiled sweetly.
…
Monday rolled around and school finally started. You were eternally grateful that Satoru’s didn’t ask anymore questions after that morning. You were also grateful to have a few classes with Suguru like you had in the past years. You took your usual seat beside him and went through your days like normal.
Suguru, on the other hand, noticed a shift in your personality.
No, not your personality, the way you acted toward him.
You would ride in his car with him to school and sit beside him in your classes, but you barely spoke to him like you normally would. When you were home together, you’d keep to yourself in your room. He knew there wasn’t any malicious intent on your end, he was sure you didn’t even realize you were doing it, but it pained him to see you drifting from him.
After your lecture let out, you both packed your laptops back into your bags and started walking out together. You lead the way out to his car silently.
“(Y/N),” Suguru started, grabbing your attention as the two of you walked.
You turned your head to him, looking up at him beside you. “Yeah?”
“You’re avoiding me.” He said in a quiet voice, trying his best not to let other people hear.
You bit your lip, eyes darting to your feet. “I promise I don’t mean to.” You admitted.
Suguru let out a sigh of relief he didn’t know he was holding in. He was glad his intuition was true and you weren’t doing it on purpose. “I’m assuming it’s about-“
“Shhh!” You cut him off and reached up, placing your hand over his mouth.
He put his hands up in defense, picking his voice back up once you removed your hand. “I’m sorry.” He said softly.
You continued walking. “I’m sorry, too.” You sighed, fingers playing with the straps of your backpack.
Suguru stayed quiet as you exited the building, walking across the parking lot. He finally spoke up again. “I don’t regret it though.” He smirked.
You rolled your eyes. “I didn’t say I did.” You groaned as you finally reached the boys car. You climbed into the passenger seat, tossing your bag onto the ground by your feet.
Suguru got into the driver’s side, starting the engine. “No need to get so defensive!” He teased, turning to dig through the center console.
“I mean, it’s the same as any of my other hook ups” You explained.
Your friend looked up at you with a dramatic pout. “I’m just like all the others?”
You playfully cover his face from your view. “No. I mean, yes.” You fumbled your words. “I meant because it’s awkward to see you again.”
“Ouch.” Suguru said as he pulled out a pipe, handing it to you as he reached for the bag of weed he kept in his car.
“Well, do you like running into your one night stands?” You asked, fingers twirling the glass object.
He just shrugged. “I don’t really care. I don’t make it into something weird.” He explained.
You leaned back in your seat, letting him take the pipe from you. You watched as he packed the bowl, reaching for the radio to put on some music.
“You still talk to Kento.” Suguru pointed out.
Kento Nanami was your ex… situationship? You weren’t sure how to refer to what happened between the two of you. You were exclusive with each other, but you’d never called yourself his girlfriend or him your boyfriend. Now, that’s all in the past and he still remains a part of your friend group.
You pursed your lips, taking a second to think. “That’s different.”
Suguru stopped what he was doing entirely to look at you. You could sense the annoyance coming off of his body. “How?” He asked you, daring you to answer him.
“Because it was like, you know, it wasn’t just some random hook up.” You shrugged. “He was my exclusive, no commitment partner.”
“That’s honestly worse.” He chuckled, hands moving once again.
You rolled your eyes, turning your attention to the world outside the car.
“So you’re saying for you to be normal around me I’ve gotta fuck you regularly?” Suguru said with a nonchalant attitude.
“Suguru!” You gasped, somewhat shocked by his vulgar way of putting it.
You watched another devilish smirk paint his lips. “You didn’t disagree.” He said, handing you the pipe and the lighter.
You paused, looking at the objects in his hand. “I don’t know.” You sighed as you took them from him. “I don’t want to date you. No offense.”
Suguru snorted at that. “When did I say date?” He asked rhetorically. “I meant just some noncommittal friends who sometimes help each other get off.” He explained as you took a hit from the pipe in your hands.
You coughed a bit, whether it be from the smoke or the crazy idea Suguru just proposed you couldn’t be too sure. “Like friends with benefits?” You asked, voice scratchy from your mini coughing fit.
Suguru shrugged. “Yeah something like that. Except that’s way too formal. See how you’re putting a name on it?” He stated as you passed him the glass.
You sighed, a small sense of calm washing over you as your high started to set in. “Fine.” You raised your hands up. “Friends who get each other off or whatever you said earlier.”
…
Satoru’s brain had been stuck on the image of you coming out of his best friend’s bedroom wearing his clothes since he saw you that morning just over a week ago. He couldn’t help it, but it made him feel almost sick to his stomach. He hated himself for reacting that way, it’s not like you guys did anything together.
And even if you did, you weren’t his girlfriend. Hell, he’d never even shared his feelings toward you with anyone, not even Suguru.
He didn’t seem to notice the way you stayed in your room most of the time. He just chalked it up to you being stressed and overwhelmed with school starting up. He sat in his lecture, barely listening to the professor as he taught. Maybe there was something he could do to help you destress and relax a bit. He thought about offering to make you dinner, but he knew that would only end in burnt food and take out instead.
Nothing Satoru thought of seemed reasonable, but he knew there had to be something to get you feeling better. He couldn’t cook well, he couldn’t help you with your art projects. Something to get you out of your room and talking to him more often.
His class finally let out and he shoved his laptop into his bag, walking out to meet you and Suguru in the parking lot.
He finally arrived at the car, the strong smell of weed hitting his nose from a few spaces over. He opened the door to the back seat, a faint cloud of smoke pouring out, and slid himself in.
“Hey, I’m like a whole foot taller than you, why do you get the front sheet?” Satoru poked your shoulder as he got in.
You giggled a little, turning to look at him. “I was here first.” You smiled.
Satoru looked at you through his glasses. The way your hair fell over your shoulder in just the right way made his heart flutter.
Suguru turned toward the back seat as well. “Leave class earlier next time, I guess.” He teased, handing him the pipe in his hand.
Satoru shook his head, holding his hand up. “Coach said he’s really cracking down on testing his athletes this year.” He rolled his eyes.
“Lame.” Suguru stated, pulling the object back.
You rested your cheek on the headrest of your seat as you watched your friend in the back. “How admirable.” You grinned.
Satoru kept his eyes on you. He thought how cute you looked with your cheek squished against the leather headrest. He loved the way you spoke so calmly as you told him about your classes today.
“I’ve started my anatomy studies, too. Wanna see?” You asked, a big smile plastered to your face. You typically painted more than you would draw, but you needed to take one last basic drawing class to graduate. You had always found anatomy sketches a lot more difficult than painting people on a canvas, so you were so excited to finally feel a bit more confident in your skills.
Satoru nodded. “Let’s see what you’ve got, Khalo.” He said, his nickname for you rolling off his tongue.
You rolled your eyes at the name, reaching into your bag and pulling out the sketchbook. You flipped it open, showing him the many different sketches of eyes, noses, and lips of people in your class. “I still have so much practice to do.”
Satoru’s eyes scanned over the page. “These are insane!” He exclaimed. “You can always use my face to practice if you want.” He offered without any hesitation.
“You mean it?” You asked excitedly. “I kept using the girl across from me so they’re all the same. It would be great to get a new face in here.”
The boy nodded. “Yeah, sure.” He said as he leaned back into the seat, spreading out so he’d be a bit more comfortable in the cramped space. “You know where to find me.”
Suguru laughed at his friend’s corny joke and began the drive back to your apartment. The ride didn’t take long. You lived within 5 minutes of the campus and you all could easily walk there if you wanted, but considering all of your classes started and ended around the same times, you all just rode together most days.
You arrived at your apartment building, all piling out of the car and walking up the stairs. “Satoru, you don’t mind letting me practice drawing tonight, right?” You asked.
He shook his head. “No, I don’t mind.” He smiled down at you. “As long as you let me eat something first.”
“Duh, I need food too.” You pointed out as Suguru unlocked the door, letting everyone inside.
You both went straight for the kitchen, grabbing snacks to satisfy your cravings. You sat at the dining table, pulling out your laptop to start some of your homework while your roommates both did the same in their own space.
Satoru sat on the couch, stealing glances at you every once in a while. He was so glad that you were out of your room for once. If he didn’t know any better, he’d ask you what happened, but he was too nervous to upset you.
Suguru sat on the opposite end of the couch, looking between you and his best friend. He watched you staring at your screen, a faint look of confusion over your face as you munched on your chips. He smiled to himself, taking a mental image of the cute look you displayed.
You worked for what felt like hours, just wanting to finish the work you had started. The boys had already both finished their work and opted to play some games on the TV together. You clicked through the words on your screen, listening to the gunshots of whatever game they chose echo off the speakers. You finally finished, closing your laptop with a huff and resting your head in your hands.
“You done?” Suguru asked, glancing at you for just a split second before his attention was back on the screen in front of him and Satoru.
“Mhm.” You mumbled, not lifting your head.
“You need me, yet?” Satoru questioned.
“I need, like, ten minutes of not using my brain.” You whined into your hands.
The pair nodded, not saying another word as they continued their game. You sat with your head down, replaying Suguru’s offer in your mind. He said no attachments the other night, so why did he want to make this a regular occurrence? You could trust when he said he didn’t want to date you, was he just lonely? Who were you to judge, though? Clearly you were lonely too.
You sat back up, catching both your roommates' attention. You looked at both of them, watching their eyes focus on you before turning back to their game.
“I was starting to think you were gonna sleep there.” Suguru joked.
You cracked a small smile. “If it were any more comfortable I think I might’ve.” You leaned back as you spoke, stretching your arms out.
Satoru became focused on you as you did. He watched as the way your shirt rode up, exposing just a small bit of your torso. He set his controller down, claiming he was done playing for now.
You rested your elbows back on the table and placed your head in your hands. You looked at both of your friends, noticing they were done with their games. “You’re done already?” You asked.
Suguru nodded, leaning his head back against the couch. You blushed as you saw the faded marks you left toward the bottom of his neck.
You stood up, cleaning your throat. “Well, I’ll be in my room whenever you’re ready, Satoru.” You said, collecting your things from the table. “No rush!” You added, turning down the hall to your room.
Satoru stood up as well. “I’m not doing anything anyway.” He explained as he walked behind you.
You let him into your room, plopping your bag down at your small desk. Your walls were covered in different paintings and drawings you’ve done throughout the years. Your desk was littered with art supplies and a few dried paint spots. You grabbed your sketchbook out of your backpack, motioning for Satoru to sit on your bed as you turned the lights on.
The boy sat on top of your fluffy comforter, crossing his legs and placing his hands in his lap. You’ve been in each other’s rooms too many times to count, but something about this felt incredibly intimate. He looked at the pictures on your nightstand and a few polaroids pinned to your wall by your desk. He smiled to himself when he saw a picture of you, Suguru, and him in a frame on your bedside table.
You hopped up onto the bed, sitting in front of him. “You can talk, you know.” You told him as you flipped to a blank page in your sketchbook.
“I know now.” He replied, leaning back on his hands, watching as you prepared your supplies.
You grabbed one of your pencils and started sketching out Satoru’s nose. Your eyes followed every curve of his skin, copying them down onto the paper. “How do you keep your skin so smooth?” You asked, noticing the way his skin was glowing in your lights.
He gave a small chuckle. “I dunno, I don’t really put anything in my face besides water.” He shrugged.
You chewed your lip, continuing your drawing. “That’s not fair.” You muttered in annoyance. You reached up, using your pencil to poke your friend’s cheek. “Turn a little bit this way.”
Satoru complied, tilting his head slightly as you prodded his skin with the flat end of your pencil. He breathed out a quiet apology as he watched you focus in. He could feel his heart racing and his palms getting sweaty. You were so close to him, pouring every ounce of your focus onto the smallest of details on his face.
You finished up the shading on your sketch of his nose and sighed. “No offense, but your nose has like, no flaws.” You turned the page to him, showing him the sketch in the top corner.
“That’s a bad thing?” He asked, adjusting his glasses to get a better look.
You shook your head. “Well, no, not in any real world circumstance.” You laughed a bit, turning the page back toward yourself. “I just meant that you have no bumps or like… freckles. Just a plain nose.”
“Sorry for being so plain.” Satoru laughed along with you. “I’ll try harder next time.”
You shook your head, smiling as you started sketching his right eye. Your eyebrows furrowed, trying your best to follow the shape. “Can I-?” You lifted your hand, gently pushing the round frame of his glasses up.
Satoru looked at you as you lifted his glasses off of his eyes. He blinked a few times as his vision focused on you again. His pulse pounded in his ears as your fingers grazed through his hair.
You locked eyes with him, both frozen for a moment. You parted your lips to say something, but the words wouldn’t come out. You ripped your eyes from his, looking down at your sketchbook. “The, uh, the glare was covering part of your eye.” You explained.
Satoru watched as your cheeks turned pink, praying you didn’t see the color that rose to his own. “That’s fine.” He stated, voice shaking slightly.
You began your sketch, looking up at your roommate’s eyes and trying your best not to get lost in them. Your fingers gripped your pencil tightly as you marked up the paper. You never realized just how pretty your roommate’s eyes were, maybe it was because of those damn glasses.
Satoru fumbled with his fingers in his lap, playing with the fabric of his jeans. He watched your hands move as you drew, diverting his eyes to your dresser each time you lifted your head up to get another look at his eyes.
“You have long eyelashes.” You commented as you filled them in on your page.
Satoru felt the heat in his cheeks. “Uh, thanks.” He stuttered a bit as he spoke. “Grew ‘em myself.” He let out a dry laugh, mentally slapping himself for the awful joke.
You giggled a little bit, though, making him think maybe it wasn’t the worst thing he could’ve said. Your smile slowly faded from your face as you redirected your focus to your drawing. You slouched over the book in your lap, adding a few more lines to it before finally finishing. You dropped your pencil, opening and closing your hand to stretch out your fingers.
Satoru pushed his glasses back down onto his face, fluffing out the hair it was just sitting on. He looked down at your drawing as you wiped off any eraser bits still on the page. “That looks great.” He complimented.
You grinned and picked your pencil back up. “Thanks!” You tilted your head up at him, looking at his lips for your next sketch. You never really noticed how soft and plump they looked. You held onto your pencil, rolling it in between your fingers.
Satoru seemed to notice your pause as you looked at him. He tried to keep still, nervous to make a move or say something that might cross a line. You slowly broke yourself from your extra long stare, starting your drawing with the basic outline of your friend’s lips. You kept glancing back up at his face for your reference, finding yourself getting caught staring at them for a little bit longer than necessary every few looks.
Your roommate couldn’t help but do the same. Each time you turned your face to him, his eyes would fall onto your lips. They looked soft and pillowy, like kissing you would be the most gentle thing on earth. They were so perfectly plump, fitting in with your beautiful facial features yet standing out at the same time.
You both found yourself leaning in closer to each other subconsciously. You were inches away from one another, eyes glued on the others lips. Your sketchbook slid off your lap, landing on the ground beside your bed with a thud that made you both jump in place. You quickly sat back up, moving your face back from Satoru’s. Your face was on fire and you leaned over to grab your sketchbook.
Satoru cleared his throat awkwardly, the same heat creeping into his own skin. He was so close to kissing you, though, he wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Of course he wanted to, he’d be lying if he said anything different, but how was that going to make you feel around him? He assumed it might end up okay, considering it seemed like you would’ve kissed him too if it weren’t for your sketchbook bringing you both back down to earth. He looked over to your window, afraid to say anything.
You held your sketchbook in your lap, your eyes stuck on the page. You were nervous to look up. You almost made a fool of yourself and kissed your roommate. Your other roommate. You silently cursed at yourself, playing the moment back in your head. You couldn’t tell if Satoru would’ve kissed you back or not, but you didn’t want to create even more drama in your household. You let out a heavy sigh and lifted your head up to look at your roommate again.
Satoru caught your face out of the corner of his eye. He turned to look at you once again. He noticed your bright red cheeks, wondering if you realized he looked the same.
“My hand’s hurting a little bit.” You stated plainly. You weren’t sure how much longer you could have Satoru in your room if you were going to be honest with yourself. You scooted off the edge of your bed, placing your supplies down on your desk.
Satoru just nodded, swinging his long legs over the side of your bed. His mind was racing, screaming at him to do or say something, anything. “You’re doing really well on those.” He smiled.
You hummed in appreciation. “Thanks Satoru.” You said, turning around from your desk and standing face to face with the boy.
Curse whoever built your apartment and decided to make your room so small.
Satoru didn’t seem to care though. He was more focused on leaving you alone to prevent himself from crossing the line. “I’ll see ya.” He said as he stepped aside, reaching for the doorknob.
You stood in front of your desk, watching your friend step out of your room and into the hallway. You let out a small sigh of relief once the door shut behind him, thankful that the tension was out of the air.
You plopped down onto your bed face down, shoving your head into your pillow and kicking your feet in frustration. You were convinced your roommates were going to be the death of you at this point. You turned over onto your back, staring up at your popcorn ceiling.
Several minutes passed as you sat in silence, listening to your own thoughts. The wind blew quietly against your window, easing you into a sense of calm. Your phone buzzed beside you on the mattress. One text. Then two. You finally decided to pick it up on the third. You lift the screen to your face, seeing three notifications from Suguru.
You groaned to yourself, figuring Satoru went and told him what happened. You swiped open your phone, unlocking it and anticipating some sort of joke from him. Your eyes scanned over the three messages a few times before your brain finally made sense of the words on your screen.
Suguru
So about our conversation earlier today…
You busy?
I think we should talk :)
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
You looked over the words on your screen, rolling onto your side. You bit your lip as you typed up a response.
What are you saying?
You hit send, staring at your phone. You saw him typing his next message, waiting what felt like an eternity for him to reply.
Suguru
Don’t tell me you already forgot….
You huffed, wishing he would be a little more forward.
I didn’t forget.
I’m just asking what exactly you think we need to talk about.
Your thumbs hovered over your keyboard. Your phone vibrated in your hands as you received a couple more texts from the boy down the hall.
Suguru
I was just seeing if you were serious.
I was.
You were baffled by the messages, but you couldn’t say you were completely surprised.
Can we talk about this in person like adults?
You set your phone back down beside you, deciding not to answer the rest of Suguru’s messages. You thought having a whole ‘friends with benefits’ situation was a bit immature. You didn’t want to also have to deal with it through text if the friend you’re speaking of was just 10 feet down the hallway.
You listened to your phone buzz a few more times before it finally went silent. You thanked whatever higher power made him finally stop texting you and either give up on the conversation or actually talk to you. The knock at your bedroom door told you he chose the latter. You stood up, opening the door to find Suguru standing on the other side.
“I didn’t think you knew how to get here.” You teased, letting him into your room.
Suguru rolled his eyes at you, sitting down on your bed. “You’re the one who wanted to talk in person.” He retorted.
You gave him a stern look, crossing your arms over your chest. “Because this isn’t a conversation we can just casually have over text. Are you stupid?” You asked, leaning your back on your dresser as you stood in front of him.
You watched as Suguru got more comfortable, his legs spread wide over the side of your bed and his hands placed on either side of him on the mattress. He let out a small sigh. “Then what did you want to say to me? I already told you I’m okay with whatever you choose.” He explained.
You nodded. “I know that.” You started. You couldn’t deny that you’ve thought about your night with Suguru multiple times after it happened. You’d be an idiot to say you didn’t want it to happen again too. “I just want to set some ground rules.”
Suguru sat up a bit. “That’s fair.” He agreed.
You paused for a moment, thinking about how you should phrase what you were about to say. “First one’s obvious, no attachments.” You told him. “If for whatever reason one of us develops feelings for the other we have to be upfront about it.”
The boy nodded in understanding.
You watched his reaction. “Also if one of us ends up dating someone this ends immediately.” You added, watching him express his agreement. You thought for another moment. “And this isn’t mutually exclusive.”
Suguru laughed and looked at you. “You got plans I don’t know about?” He joked.
You furrowed your brows. “No. Not at the moment at least.” You shrugged, your arms dropping to your side. “I just meant it as a ‘just in case’ type of deal.”
The boy hummed, acknowledging your statement. “That’s fine by me. No attachment means no exclusivity.” He agreed.
You looked at him. “And we tell absolutely no one. Not Shoko, not Kento, and especially not Satoru.” You said in a rather serious tone.
Suguru raised an eyebrow. “You think I wanted to tell any of them in the first place?” He asked. “What I do in the privacy of my bedroom is my business. Or yours, too, now, I guess.”
You cracked a small grin, trying not to laugh. “I’m just making sure!” You told him. You sat beside him on your bed, lifting your feet onto the mattress and crossing your legs. You couldn’t explain it, but being this close to Suguru felt different. It didn’t feel romantic, or even sexually charged for that matter, you just felt a bit more secure now that you talked out your feelings.
Suguru leaned his head back, looking at you with a warm smile. “You seem better.” He pointed out.
You nodded, propping your head up in your hand. “Yeah. I feel a lot better, honestly.” You told him truthfully. “I think I just needed some sort of clarity or whatever.”
“Like I said, whatever you need.” Suguru reminded you.
Your eyes fell down his body. You looked at the way his baggy t-shirt of a band you’ve never even heard of bunched up by his lap. His black jeans looked like he could fit both of his legs into just one side if he really tried. You always thought it was crazy how much he hid such an insanely nice body with his oversized clothing.
You let out a small sigh, eyes meeting his once again. “Am I wrong to assume you texted me for more than just a talk?”
Suguru pursed his lips, pressing them out as he faked thinking it over, his eyes no longer meeting yours. “I wouldn’t say you’re 100% wrong.” He answered, looking away from you for just a moment.
You laughed at his reaction. “Well, I've already said I don’t mind being friends with-“ You were cut off by Suguru raising an eyebrow at you. You remember what he’d said earlier about the label. “Friends who just so happen to sometimes hook up.” You corrected yourself. “But Satoru’s literally right next door.” You motioned to the wall that separated your two rooms.
Suguru repositioned himself, moving in closer to you. “He won’t mind as long as you can keep quiet.” He whispered into your ear, sending shivers down your spine and goosebumps along your skin.
You leaned back, putting your hands on the bed behind you. You were only inches from each other’s faces. His face searched yours, looking for any sign to either stop or move forward. You bit your lip and nodded to him. He closed the gap between you, slotting your lips together. You brought your hand up to cup his cheek as your lips moved against each other’s. You felt his tongue along your bottom lip and opened your mouth, letting his tongue collide with your own.
You fully leaned back on the bed, laying your head down on the sheets. Suguru climbed over you, his arms and legs on either side of your body. His hands moved to the bottom of your shirt, slipping underneath the fabric. His cold fingertips met the warmth of your skin, causing you to jump.
“Sorry.” Suguru mumbled quietly against your mouth. His hands continued to roam your skin, the difference in temperature making every little move feel much more intense. He placed his hands over your breasts, giving them a small squeeze. You bit your lip, trying your best to keep quiet.
You pulled your lips from his. “Are you trying to get us caught?” You whispered to him.
Suguru poked out his bottom lip and shook his head. “It’s not my fault you can’t contain yourself from just a little foreplay.” He teased with a straight face. “Besides, Satoru is probably the last one I’d want to find out.”
You narrowed your eyes at him, mentally trying to tell him that he was pissing you off. You moved your hand to the back of his head, slotting your fingers through the strands of his long hair, and pulled him back down to meet your lips.
Suguru trailed his lips down to your neck, kissing along the side. You tilted your head, allowing him more access. His hands fumbled with the clasps of your bra, undoing it and pulling it out from under your shirt. He returned his grasps to the swell of your breasts, fondling them in his hands. You squeezed your eyes shut and bit your lip as the stimulation sent a pulse straight to the space between your thighs. The boy smirked against your skin as he heard a small noise escape your throat. He bit down on a spot between your neck and shoulder, causing you to arch up into him.
Your hands moved to the hem of Suguru’s t-shirt. You began pulling it up his torso and over his head, dropping it off of the side of the bed and onto your floor. You looked up at him as he sat up, still in awe of his body as if it were the first time you’d seen it.
“Take a picture.” Suguru cracked, reaching down to undo his belt.
You scoffed, hitting him lightly on his chest. “Shut up.”
He just laughed, weaving the belt out of the loops on his jeans and letting it slink onto the floor. He unbuttoned his jeans, pushing them down his legs and kicking them off. You placed your legs on either side of where he was now kneeling on your bed. You snaked your hands down your body, fumbling with your fingers to undo the button of your pants. Once you finally finished with the button, you and Suguru pulled the pants off your legs, throwing them with the rest of the discarded clothes.
Suguru leaned forward and pressed himself against your panty-covered core, causing you to suck in a sharp breath at the sensation. A sinister smirk plastered itself onto his lips. “I’m starting to think you want to get caught.” His voice was low and smooth as he spoke.
You let a quiet whine pass through your lips as he rocked his hips against yours, unable to come up with something to say back to that. Heat began to pool in your stomach.
Suguru lifted his hips, slotting his hand in between your bodies. His fingers toyed with your clothed clit, making you press your head further back into your pillow. “You’re already so wet.” He hummed, feeling your moisture through the fabric. He rubbed slow circles onto your clit, watching your reactions beneath him.
You squeezed your lips together, praying you wouldn’t make a noise. The walls were thin, you’ve experienced both of your roommates doing the same thing in their own rooms before. Your breath became more staggered as Suguru quickened his pace. A hand flew to his wrist, as if begging him for mercy.
Suguru chuckled, slowing his movements. “Alright, alright.” He mumbled against your ear, pulling his hand out from between you. “I can’t help it, you know I love messing with you.”
You sighed and turned your head to look at his face. “Yeah, I know.” You glared at him. “I just didn’t think that translated to you trying to get Satoru to catch us sleeping together.”
The boy pushed his hair out of his face. “I’m not doing anything I wouldn’t if he weren’t home.” He informed you.
You rolled your eyes, reaching down to push your panties off. As annoying as he was, you were still horny, you couldn’t just kick him out now. “Shut up and take these off.” You hooked your finger into the waistband of his underwear, pulling just a bit before letting it snap against his skin. You reached over to your nightstand, grabbing one of the few condoms you kept in there.
“I didn’t know you kept those in there.” Suguru stated as he slid his briefs down, taking the item from your hand.
You laughed at that. “I’ve had boys here before, you know.” You explained.
He let out a somewhat annoyed sigh. “I know. I came home one time when you had Kento over.” He informed you, bringing a blush to your cheeks. “I didn’t want to embarrass you so I never said anything.”
You sat in shock, staring at him as he slid the rubber over his length. “You could’ve just taken that with you to the grave.”
Suguru shrugged, raising his hand to gently guide you back down into your pillows. “It’s fine.” He positioned himself at your entrance, slowly pushing into you.
You hooked your arms around him, biting your lip so hard you think you might draw blood. You felt Suguru’s warm breath on your skin as he pressed his face into the crook on your neck. His hips pressed firmly against yours, allowing you to every inch of him. Your fingers found their way to his hair, tugging at it gently.
Suguru slowly started moving his hips. He pulled all the way out before snapping his hips forward, colliding them with your own. You gasped, quickly placing your free hand over your mouth to muffle your moans. He continued his pace, slow to pull out and quick to thrust back into you. You wrapped your legs around his waist, pulling him in impossibly closer.
Suguru let out quiet moans into your ear. His hair fell over your face, covering your forehead. You kept your grip on his hair, holding him in that position.
“Fuck-“ You muttered into your sweaty palm, the slow pace drawing out your pleasure. The roll of his hips began to quicken, sending a pulse of pleasure throughout your body. You tightened your fist around the long strands on his nape.
Suguru’s hands gripped your hips, fingers pressing deep into your skin as he fucked into you. He tilted his head, nipping and kissing at the soft skin on your neck. “God, you feel so good.” He groaned.
You bit your palm, tears pricking your eyes as he finally found the perfect angle. He rammed his hips in, repeatedly hitting your g-spot. Your eyes met his when he lifted his head to see you.
“You’re taking me so well.” He whispered, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead, the polar opposite of his movements between your legs. Each snap of his hips sent vibrations of pleasure against your clit that pulsed throughout your entire body.
You removed your hand from your mouth, wrapping it around him to pull your face against his shoulder. “M’close.” You muttered to him, your voice sounding like a whine.
Suguru nodded, signaling to you that he was close as well. You choked out a moan into his sweat coated skin. His hand reached up, slapping over your mouth. “Shhh.” He cooed, his calm voice a harsh contrast to everything else happening around you. “You were doing so good.”
You whined against his palm, digging your nails into his muscular back. The heat continued to build up in your stomach, pushing you closer and closer to the edge.
Suguru kept his eyes on you. He watched as you struggled to keep quiet, a single tear rolling down the side of your face as the pleasure overwhelmed you. “That’s it.” His voice sounded like a growl in your ear. “Cum for me.” He ordered.
That seemed to be all you needed to finally let go. The tension in your body snapped and your orgasm rushed through you. You fought to stay quiet, mentally thanking Suguru for covering your mouth as you let a few moans pass your lips. Suguru let out a deep groan as he came, his hips slowing.
Suguru removed his hand from your mouth as you spread your arms out, laying them flat against your cool bedding. He slowly pulled out, watching the way your body clung to his cock. He carefully tugged the condom off, tying it and throwing it into your trash.
You pulled your shirt back down to cover your bare breasts. You looked at Suguru as he sat up. “We gotta time this better.” You joked, crossing your legs to hide yourself a bit better.
Suguru noticed and grabbed at the edge of your blanket, laying it over your body. “Yeah.” He agreed.
You both stayed in comfortable silence as he lazily slipped his clothes back on. You sat up, putting your hands on top of the plush blanket in your lap. “I’m not kicking you out.” You informed him.
Suguru chuckled and shook his head. “I wouldn’t think you were.” He picked his belt up, holding it at his side. “But I was gonna offer to let you smoke with me in my room.”
You nodded, wrapping the blanket around you and grabbing a pair of pajama pants from your dresser. “You know what? I’ll take you up on that offer.” You said, getting dressed and following him to his room.
You sat together on his bed, passing the small joint he had rolled between the two of you. The window was cracked open to allow the smoke out, letting a cool breeze pass through his room. The lights were dim as he usually kept them and soft rock music played quietly on the speakers. You wrapped your blanket tightly around you, tucking your knees up into your chest. A knock was heard from the other side of the door.
“It’s open.” Suguru called out from beside you on the bed.
Satoru pushed the door open, his eyes falling on the two of you sitting together. “I didn’t know she was in here.” He blurted out.
You raised an eyebrow at him. “Huh?” You sneered. “Am I not supposed to be?”
Suguru ignored the bickering between you two. “What’s up?” He asked.
Satoru shook his head, leaning against the bed frame. “It’s nothing. Just came to talk.” He shrugged.
Suguru nodded, watching his best friend. He knew Satoru better than he knew anyone else. Something was bothering him, but he didn’t want to talk about it with you in the room. “You need me to kick her out?” He asked playfully.
You let out an angry gasp. “You wouldn’t!” You give him a light smack on the arm.
Satoru watched your interaction. “No, it’s alright.” He gave the other boy a smile. He walked deeper into the room, grabbing the chair at his desk and pulling it closer to the bed before taking a seat. “It was just boy stuff.” He explained, mocking the voice you used when they would annoy you.
You rolled your eyes at him. “You’re so funny, Satoru.” You said, your voice dry as you spoke.
The white haired boy put on a cocky grin. “Thank you, (Y/N). It truly means the world to me.” He laughed.
Suguru hummed in amusement. “Isn’t she so kind?” He teased, pushing you gently.
You huffed in annoyance. If you had to choose the biggest downside of living with two college boys, especially two that were best friends, this would be it. No, not them being messy, or bringing girls home, or even the lack of privacy at times. The way the seemed to feed off of annoying you was definitely the worst part.
Satoru watched as an agitated expression fell over your face. “She’s so happy she can’t contain herself.” He leaned forward, propping his arms on the mattress.
“Shut up.” You groaned, pushing his arms away from you.
“Shut up!” Both of your roommates copied your voice, exaggerating their tones.
You crossed your arms over your chest, waiting for them to finally be done with their pointless teasing. You looked back and forth between them as they kept bouncing jokes off of each other. “You two are exhausting.” You muttered.
Suguru looked at you and pouted. “Awe, baby’s tired.” He cooed.
Satoru chuckled. “Baby’s cranky.” He said in a similar tone.
You sighed, grabbing your blanket from your lap and scooting off the bed. “Goodnight, lovebirds.” You mumbled.
“Night, dork.” Suguru replied, earning himself the finger from you before you reached for the door.
“See you in the morning.” Satoru added.
You paused and turned your head toward them. “It’ll be my pleasure.” You offered them a cheesy smile, leaving the bedroom and pulling the door shut behind you.
Suguru waited a few moments after the door shut and until he heard the shower running before he began talking. “So what’s going on with you?” He asked the other boy.
Satoru looked at him. “What do you mean?” He asked.
The younger boy sighed. “You don’t come in here this late unless it’s to smoke or tell me something.” He pointed out. “You already told me you’re not smoking, so what’s going on?”
Satoru rolled his head from one side to the other as he thought about what to say. “You won’t tell (Y/N), right?” He asked.
“Why would I?”
Satoru nodded. “You wouldn’t, I know.” His heart was racing as he contemplated telling his friend about his feelings toward you. Would he be more biased since you were both of their friend? “I just think she’d tease me about it.”
Suguru chuckled. “Like she already does to us all the time?”
The white haired boy shook his head. “No, not the same. This is like, kind of serious.” He explained.
The younger boy gasped a little. “You’re gay?!” He sat up a bit. “I always thought you might be, but I wasn’t sure.”
“No, that’s not- You think I’m gay?” Satoru narrowed his eyes in confusion. He looked at his best friend, trying to read his expression. “I mean, I definitely like women but I don’t care all that much about- Wait, this isn’t what we’re talking about.”
Suguru shook his head. “No, yeah, you’re right. Go ahead.”
Satoru rolled his eyes and continued. “I like a girl.” He started, choosing to leave your name out of it. “In such an annoying pathetic way, too.”
His friend smiled. “That’s cute.” He watched as the blue eyed boy’s cheeks flushed. “Why don’t you ask her out?”
“It feels like she has zero interest in being anything other than friends. And that’s on a good day.” He whined, his arms stretching out over the bedding and his face pressing into the sheets.
Suguru nodded as he listened. “Just friends with The Satoru Gojo? D-1 athlete and Olympic hopeful?” He teased a bit. “Have you hung out with her alone?” His tone was more serious.
Satoru nodded against the fabric before turning his head so he could speak clearly. “Yeah.” He sighed, thinking back on all of the times you’ve hung out one on one. He was sure he could count them all on his fingers, including today. His cheeks burned as he replayed the moment in his mind. “It just seems like she’d always rather hang out with this other guy.” He mumbled.
Suguru pursed his lips as he thought for a moment. “Just a friend though, right?” He asked.
“As far as I know, yeah.” Satoru confirmed. “I think she would’ve told me by now if that weren’t the case.”
The black haired boy leaned back against the headboard. “I think you should just try hanging out with her more. Take her out for coffee or ask her to help you study or something.” He suggested.
Satoru thought it over. Would it be awkward to just start inviting you to go out, just out of the blue? Would you even consider it a date or would you think of it more as two friends hanging out? He thought about studying as well. You had completely different classes, so it wouldn’t work out well. He could keep offering to help you with your artwork, though. Hopefully, you could overlook the incident from earlier today and give him another chance.
The following day, you left your last class, heading out to Suguru’s car in the parking lot. You arrived at his empty car, looking around for your friend. You sighed to yourself, leaning against the hood and scrolling through your phone.
Minutes passed and you still sat alone in the parking lot, watching other students come and leave. You opened your messaging app, tapping on Suguru’s contact
Where are you?
You sent the message before going back to watching whatever stupid videos made their way into your feed.
“(Y/N)!” A voice called out from a few rows over.
You lifted your head and saw Satoru approaching you alone. “Where’s Suguru?” You asked.
“My day was fine, thanks for asking.” He retorted. “He said he was behind on one of his projects or something. He had to meet with his professor.” He finally answered your question.
You bit your lip and nodded. “He’s been having a hard time with one of his charcoal pieces.” You recalled.
Satoru stood beside you, leaning against the car. “I hope he can still come out with us tonight.” He muttered.
You shot him a confused look. “Us?” You questioned.
The boy's blue eyes met yours. “Yeah, we’re going to a party tonight.” He mentioned. His eyes widened a bit as realization set in. “I forgot to tell you about it.”
“Yeah. You and Suguru both.” You added.
Satoru frowned. “I didn’t mean to! I just figured he’d tell you since you spend so much time together.”
Your heart skipped a beat and heat prickled your cheeks. “No we don’t.” You argued.
The boy narrowed his eyes at you. “You two have classes together, you smoke together almost every night, and you always let him hang out in your room when you’re getting ready to go out.”
You listened to his words, realizing you do truly spend a lot of time with Suguru. “Yeah, well, it sounds like you’re jealous I’m spending time with your boyfriend.” You joked.
Satoru rolled his eyes. He might’ve been jealous, but definitely not of you in this situation. “Whatever.” He mumbled, turning his head to look the other way.
You watched as he sulked like a child. You huffed, leaning against him. “Don’t be so upset, I’m only joking.”
The boy froze, so thankful you couldn’t see his face. His heart raced from the feeling of your body weight against him. “I know.” He mumbled, gently pushing you off of him before he lost his mind.
Suguru finally got out of his class. He walked out to his car, finding you sitting against the hood of his car. “Sorry I’m late.” He said as he unlocked the doors.
You and Satoru got up from your spot, walking to the side of the car. “It’s okay.” You smiled at him, getting into the back seat. “I’m more upset about not hearing about this party from either of you.”
Suguru looked at you through the rear view mirror. “Why? It’s not like you had to RSVP.” He laughed. “You’re still allowed to go, it’s a frat party.”
You looked between your two roommates. “I understand that.” You rolled your eyes. “I’m just saying it would’ve been nice to have more time to pick out an outfit or something.”
“Blah blah blah.” Satoru blurted as Suguru started the car. “You could go in a trash bag and you’d still look fine.”
Suguru chuckled. “He’s right.”
“Just wear that maroon shirt you got when we all went to the mall.” Satoru suggested. “And, like, I dunno, a skirt?”
You shook your head. “I already swore I would never wear a skirt to a party again.” You shared. “But, I’ll wear that with some shorts.”
Suguru continued the drive home. You watched out the window and listened to your two friends talk about their classes and their school work.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
You sat on the floor in Suguru’s room, straightening your hair in front of his mirror. You watched through the reflection as he focused on the paper in front of him. Satoru was right, you did spend a lot of time with him. It was mostly because he’d let you get high in his room and then keep you company afterwards. Mostly. You hummed along to bits and pieces of his music since you’ve grown to know some of the songs he played often.
Suguru let out a heavy sigh behind you. You turned your head to look at him as he slumped back in his desk chair. “You know, I majored in art to have an easier time in school.” He muttered, head tilting to look at you.
You shook your head. “That was your first mistake.” You both laughed.
Satoru walked through the open bedroom door. He had changed into light blue jeans and black shirt with a white long sleeve underneath. He looked down at where you were sitting on the floor. “I thought you said you didn’t always hang out in here.”
You tilted your head back to look up at him. “You said I get ready with Suguru in my room, not that I get ready in his.” You answered. “To be fair, we were gardening a bit.”
Satoru nodded. “Yeah, I can smell it.” He laughed as he sat down on the bed. “Are you sure you don’t wanna come, Suguru?”
Suguru nodded, his attention back on his artwork. “There’ll always be another party we can all go to that’ll be almost exactly the same.” He replied. “You guys have fun though.” His hands moved the charcoal along the paper, using his fingertips to blend out the edges of his lines.
You finished up your hair and unplugged the straightener. You stood up from your place on the carpet and walked toward the desk, taking a look at the drawing. Suguru leaned over the paper a bit as he drew, but you tried your best to make out what he was doing. The lines came together to form what looked to be a silky fabric draped over an object. There was little detail in the shading so far, but you were still amazed by how he worked so well with the medium.
Suguru’s dirty hands came to a pause as he looked up at you. “Leaving?” He asked.
You nodded, eyes still on his artwork. “In a bit, yeah. This is coming out amazing.”
“Thanks. It better be.” He commented. “I’ll see you guys later.”
You smiled, giving him a pat on the shoulder. “Don’t miss us too much.”
Satoru stood up, following you as you walked out of the room. “I’ll be sure to take a shot just for you!” He voiced as you both left.
You put your belongings back in your own room and grabbed your phone, shoving your ID into the case.
“I can hold your stuff tonight, if you want.” Satoru offered as you followed him to the front door. “I know Suguru usually does.”
You grinned at his words. “How sweet of you.” You teased. “But I ask him instead of you because you’re never in one place for more than a minute.”
Your roommate laughed and nodded. “You’re right, I’ll give you that much.” He pointed out. “But tonight I promise to stay with you. I’ll protect you.”
You looked at the floor as your cheeks turned pink. “Thank you, Satoru.” You said softly.
The two of you walked a few blocks to the fraternity. The sun had already set and a cool breeze filled the night. You stepped closer to Satoru, cursing him in your mind for convincing you to wear shorts instead of jeans. He told you that you would get too hot during the party and be uncomfortable. You crossed your arms over your chest, hoping to warm yourself up a bit.
You arrived at the house, the bass of the music inside nearly shaking the ground leading up to the door. A few people stood outside, talking, drinking, or smoking. You let Satoru lead the way, following close behind him. You watched him greet a few people who seemed rather excited to see him.
Satoru turned to you, gently pulling you closer. “This is (Y/N).” He introduced you to the other boys in front of you. You offered them a shy wave.
“Girlfriend?” One asked.
You blushed and shook your head. “Roommates.” You corrected him.
The boys talked for a moment, leaving you feeling like a third wheel. You turned your head, trying to find anyone you knew. You nudged Satoru gently. “I’m gonna get a drink.” You told him, stepping away.
Satoru quickly followed after you. “I don’t want to lose you.” He informed you, squeezing through the sea of people to keep up.
You looked up at him as you walked. “It’s not that big of a deal, Satoru.” You said. “I’m a big girl, I can take care of myself.”
The boy sighed, still trailing behind you. “I get that, but I’d rather you just be safe.”
You finally reached the kitchen, sighing in relief when you saw there weren’t even half as many people in the room. “I just don’t want to ruin your fun because I don’t know as many people as you do. It’s okay.” You explained. “I’ll find Shoko or Ino, they said they’d be here.”
Satoru shook his head, grabbing a cab from one of the coolers on the counter. “I understand what you’re saying, but I couldn’t live with myself if god forbid something happened to you.” He stepped closer. “We can party however you prefer, I promise.” He held his pinky up to you.
You looked at the finger he extended toward you, thinking over his offer. Your eyes drifted up to his face, seeing his serious and intense look. You sighed and wrapped your pinky around his. “Fine.” You agreed. “But that means you have to dance with me.”
Satoru laughed. “Oh, is that all?” He asked.
You nodded. “Don’t worry, I’ll let you get a few drinks in you before we go back in there.” You grinned, taking a sip of your seltzer.
He rolled his eyes playfully. “You think I care about that stuff?” He asked.
You simply shrugged. “I never see you dance at parties.” You stated.
“That’s because you’re always with Suguru and Shoko.” He responded.
You looked up at him. “With Shoko.” You stated. “Suguru doesn’t dance either, he just holds my stuff most of the time.”
Satoru nodded in understanding. He paused before he continued speaking. “I do dance though. Sometimes. Not often.”
You finally made your way back out into the crowd after a few drinks and chatting with each other's friends and classmates. You held Satoru’s arm, tugging him through the mass of bodies dancing and talking in the living room. Satoru had his eyes on you the entire time. He watched as you navigated the room through your tipsy state. You finally gave up on searching for your friend group and turned around to face your roommate.
“If you see them, let me know, but I don’t wanna spend my whole time looking for them.” You shouted over the music. You smiled as you started moving your body to the beat.
Satoru grinned, swaying his body as well. “They’ll find us, I’m sure. I think my hair sticks out a little.” He laughed, pointing up at his white hair.
You laughed along with him, letting yourself let loose for a change. You danced with Satoru, singing along to some of the lyrics with him. You hated to admit it, but you definitely were having more fun with him than you’d ever had with Suguru on a night out. Satoru didn’t seem to care about making a fool of himself. He moved his body along with you and the rest of the crowd.
You stayed with him throughout the night, leaving the room a few times to get more drinks, but always returning back to dancing. You were so wrapped up in your time with Satoru that you hadn’t even noticed your other friends never came to find you until you went back to the kitchen a third time for water.
“There you guys are!” Shoko exclaimed from the other side of the room. She ran over, wrapping an arm around each of you. “You guys look hot. Like warm, hot.” She laughed.
You grinned at her and nodded. “We’ve been dancing out there this whole time. Where have you guys been?” You asked.
She used her thumb to point in the opposite direction of the living room. “Dining room. Ino and Kento have been killing it at beer pong.” She explained. She looked up to Satoru as he sipped on his bottle of water. “You were dancing, too?”
Your roommate nodded. “Yeah, I think I’m pretty good at it.” He joked, leaning back against the counter.
You watched as he and Shoko chatted. His skin was covered in a thin layer of sweat, making his skin shine in the harsh kitchen lighting. Your eyes trailed to his lips, watching them move as he spoke. When he smiled and laughed, you watched the crinkles form around the corners of his lips and the small dimple appear on his cheek. As you looked at him, you started piecing together why he was so popular with the women in your school.
Shoko turned to face you again. “Sometime this week we have to- wait. Is that a hickey?” She moved closer, looking at the mark Suguru left on you just last night. “Who are you seeing?!”
Your heart sank and your hand flew up to your neck. “No, I burned myself with my flat iron.” You lied, quickly.
Shoko raised an eyebrow at you. “How the fuck-?”
Satoru laughed a little. “That’s what you get for smoking beforehand.” He teased, unaware of your lie.
You sighed and rolled your eyes. “Whatever.” You muttered.
Shoko and Satoru laughed together. “You had me thinking you were sleeping with someone and not telling me.” The girl leaned against you.
If only she knew.
You and Satoru followed her into the dining room. The walls of the room were lined with people watching the game of beer pong being played on the table. Two people you didn’t know stood at one end while Ino and Kento stood at the other. The rest of your friends all stood behind them, talking and drinking.
Kento turned around after he threw the ball. “You look lovely.” He smiled at you.
You blushed a bit at his compliment. “Thanks.”
Satoru rolled his eyes as he watched the two of you talk. He knew all about your relationship with Kento Nanami. How you thought you were so in love with him, how he basically refused to make anything official with you despite taking up almost all of your free time, and how he ended things through text, telling you he wasn’t ready for anything serious and he finally realized after two months that he shouldn’t be toying with your emotions. He hated him for the way he treated you, but you always tried convincing him that it was fine. He knew you deserved better than that. He knew he could treat you better.
You were over Kento. At least, as much as you could be for someone you never began with in the first place. He was attractive and he was definitely a fun person to hang out with, but you didn’t hold any feelings for him anymore. No romance, no list, but also no hatred or resentment.
You glanced at your roommate, locking eyes with him as you spoke to Kento. You politely excused yourself and stepped toward him. “You don’t wanna be in here, do you?” You asked him in a hushed tone.
Satoru answered by shaking his head. “Not really. I’ll stay though if that’s what you want.”
You pursed your lips. “I’d rather get back to dancing. It’s kinda boring in here.” You giggled.
You said your goodbyes to your friends before walking back to the large living room. You let Satoru lead the way, gripping onto his shirt as you moved through the crowd.
He turned to face you once you got to a somewhat empty space. “You know, I hate him, right?”
You gave him a confused look as you swayed your hips to the beat. “Hate who?” You asked.
“That prick, Kento.” He answered. “He’s such a douche. He’s just trying to butter you up to try and win you over again.”
You let out a laugh. “I’m aware!” You confessed. “I’m over it though, Satoru. No bad blood, just not interested anymore at all.”
Satoru nodded as he listened, moving his body with yours. “Fine.” He blurted. “But if he hurts you again me and Suguru will have to kill him.” He added, only somewhat joking.
You danced with Satoru through the night, the room filling out more and more as people stayed inside when the temperature started dropping outdoors. You stood closer to your friend, your bodies just inches away from each other as you moved.
Satoru could feel his heart racing as your body just barely graded yours. The rhythm of his movements stuttered, making him a bit offbeat. You didn’t notice, however, too focused on having fun with him. He reached a hand forward, gently placing it on your waist. Heat rose to your cheeks as you felt his soft touch. You kept dancing, closing the space between your bodies. Your chest pressed against his as you draped an arm around his shoulder.
You looked up at his face, keeping your eyes on his as your bodies moved in sync. The crowded room faded away in your mind, leaving your focus solely on your roommate in front of you. You felt a flutter in your chest as his fingers splayed on the small of your back, holding you tight against him. It was the alcohol, right? Neither of you said a word as you held eye contact.
Satoru was the first to make a move. He dipped his head down, pressing his lips to yours. You kissed him back, throwing your other arm around him to pull him even closer to you.
Fuck, do you make awful decisions when you drink.
Satoru’s hands help your waist, pulling you against him. His touch was needy, yet so gentle, the opposite of his best friend. You pulled back just enough to look at him, laughing when you noticed his glasses had fogged up a bit.
The boy’s face was bright red, you could tell even in the dim lighting of the room. He rested his forehead on your own. “Did I tell you I think you look amazing tonight?” He mumbled.
You grinned before standing on your toes to reach his lips again. You weren’t sure what came over you, you weren’t even sure if this was the best idea, but for now you were certain that this is what you wanted.
You finally came back to reality when you felt someone bump into your back. You broke the kiss and looked at your surroundings. You couldn’t continue this, no, not here. Too many people knew The Satoru Gojo. You breathed heavily as the boy looked at you, waiting for you to say anything. You reached to your back, grabbing his hand and leading him away from everyone else. You pulled him past groups of people sitting on the stairs, opening the first door you saw. You shut the door behind you and locked it.
“I can’t say I’ve ever been dragged into a bathroom before.” Satoru joked.
You rolled your eyes and pulled him close to you, slotting your lips against his once again. You leaned back against the sink, wrapping your arms around him.
Satoru placed one hand on your back, the other moving up to cup your face. He parted his lips, letting his tongue slip into your mouth. You let out a small gasp that was quickly drowned out by the hum of the music downstairs. Both of the boy’s hands dropped to the back of your thighs, as if asking you to jump up. You let him lift you, placing you on the countertop without his lips leaving yours. You wrapped one of your legs around his waist, pulling him in closer.
Satoru’s hand came back to your jaw, gently pushing your chin to the side as he began placing slow kisses to your neck. Your breathing staggered as you felt his lips on the same skin Suguru’s were the night before. Each kiss was delicate and meticulous, where his best friend’s were rough and possessive.
Your hand flew up to his hair, tangling your fingers in the short pieces. You leaned your head back against the mirror. “Satoru-“ You breathed out.
Satoru’s hands ran down your body as if they were studying every dip and curve. He brought them up to your chest, cupping your breasts. You felt him grin against your neck when you let out a soft moan. He tilted his head up to look at you. “Can I keep going?” He asked softly.
You nodded embarrassingly quickly. His slow pace and the way he handled your body with such care were deliciously agonizing. “Please.” You managed to whine out.
Satoru chuckled at your reaction. You felt him reach behind you to unclasp your bra. He slid it off your body, placing it beside you on the counter. He lifted your shirt up, exposing your bare breasts to him. He paused for a moment, taking in the sight of your body. You bit your lip as you watched him stare at you. He leaned forward, capturing your left nipple in his mouth.
You let out a moan, your hand gripping onto his arm. His tongue flicked over the sensitive bud, making you throw your head back. “Fuck!” Your eyes screwed shut at the pleasure pumping through your body.
Satoru’s lips parted from your skin. “I’ve barely done anything yet.” He teased, his thumb flicking over your spit coated nipple. “Has it been that long since someone’s touched you like this?” He asked before attaching his lips to your right nipple.
It honestly had been a while. Sure, you’ve slept with Suguru, but he was nowhere near as careful as Satoru when it came to making sure every inch of your body felt good.
You whined as his mouth sucked at your skin. His hands trailed down your sides, past your hips, and to your thighs. His thumbs rubbed small, gentle circles into your plush skin. He removed his mouth from your breast, leaning back up to kiss you once more. You breathed against his lips, your hands grabbing at his shirt.
“Ah ah.” Satoru spoke against your lips, his hands coming up to remove your fingers from the fabric. “Let me take care of you.” He whispered, sending a shiver down your spine. He slowly released your hands, placing his own back on your thighs. They crept up to the bottom of your shorts as your lips moved together.
You started to wonder if he was this gentle and diligent with every girl he’s hooked up with. You could start to understand why some of them tried to hard to see him again if that were the case. As quickly as the thought entered your mind, it left, your focus back on Satoru as his hands fumbled with the button on your shorts. You reached down to help him, slipping them off and letting them fall to the floor beneath you.
You moaned into Satoru’s mouth as his fingers lightly brushed over your slit through your lacy panties.
Satoru moved his lips to beside your ear. “I know, baby.” He cooed as he played with your clothed clit.
You pressed your forehead against his shoulder, letting out pathetic moans and whines from just the lightest touches. His fingers toyed with the bundle of nerves, rubbing small circles through the fabric. Your legs tightened around his waist.
Satoru removed his hand from between you. Before you could whine in protest, he hooked his fingers into the hem of your panties, tugging them down. You watched as he dropped to his knees in front of you. He grabbed your thighs and gently spread your legs apart. His thumb pressed back against your clit, sending waves of pleasure through your body.
You gasped, crying out his name. Satoru watched your reaction before leaning his head forward. He stuck his tongue out, licking up to your clit. Your hands found their way to his hair, tangling your fingers into it. He moaned against your wet pussy from the grip of his hair.
Satoru moved his tongue along your folds, dragging it up to circle your clit before gliding it back down to your entrance. You kept your grip on the hair on the back of his head, subconsciously pushing him closer to you. His hands held your thighs, keeping them spread apart. His lips enclosed your clit, sucking at the bundle of nerves a few times before moving back to the rhythm he had before. You let out a whine, your body trying to close your legs around his head, but his strong arms prevented your from doing so.
You felt his hand leave one of your legs as he moved it up to your entrance. He pushed one finger into you, his tongue focusing on your clit. His eyes met yours as he pumped his finger in and out. You put your head back against the mirror as you turned into a mess about Satoru. His fingers curled up, just barely brushing against your g-spot, causing you to moan loudly. Your grip tightened on his hair. He moaned against your folds, sending vibrations through your body.
“More. Please, more.” You begged.
Satoru complied, slipping a second finger inside you. He moved his fingers and his tongue at the same pace, his eyes never leaving your face. He angled his fingers to brush against your most sensitive spot over and over, causing your brain to feel fuzzy. You were an absolute wreck, coming apart more and more every second that passed. Your eyes rolled back as his tongue flicked over your clit at a steady speed.
“I’m close! Fuck- I’m close!” You moaned. Satoru’s fingers stayed deep inside you, abusing your g-spot as his tongue moved delicately along you. “Don’t stop, please!”
Satoru watched your face contort as you came with a loud scream. Your orgasm ripped through you. You pulled Satoru by his hair, bringing him impossibly closer in between your thoughts as they closed around his head. His fingers slowed, easing you through your high. You breathed heavily on the counter, letting your orgasm ride out.
You whined as you grew sensitive afterwards. You gently pushed against your friend’s forehead. “Too much!” You cried out.
Satoru lifted his head up and slowly removed his fingers from inside you. He looked over your face, grinning to himself when he noticed how fucked out you looked. “You did so well for me.” He comforted, standing up and pulling you into his chest.
You rested your head against his chest, a small whine leaving your throat. You felt his hands running up and down your back as you stayed close to him. You lifted your head to look at him.
The boy pressed his lips against yours. Your hands reached for his pants as your tongues swirled together, letting you taste yourself on his mouth. You unbuckled his belt and pushed his pants and underwear down to his thighs, just enough to free his dick.
Satoru pulled his head back. “Patience.” He murmured, causing your cheeks to flush in embarrassment. “I’m not going anywhere.”
You sighed, putting your hands on his shoulders. “Sorry.” You whispered.
Satoru didn’t mind, though. He finally had what he’d waited so long for. He knew it wouldn’t last more than this night, so he wanted to savor every moment with you. His lips reattached to your neck, causing your eyes to flutter shut. His gentle touch lingered on your hips, pulling you even closer to the edge of the countertop.
“Fuck.” He muttered suddenly against your shoulder. He picked his head up and brought his eyes to meet yours. “I don’t have a condom.” He informed you.
You shook your head. “Neither do I.” You stated. You both paused for a moment before you spoke out again. “You’re clean?”
“What?” Satoru looked at you, confused for a second before he answered your question. “Yeah, but-“
You cut him off. “I’m fine if you pull out.” You told him.
His eyes widened as he looked at you. “Are you sure?” He asked. “I don’t wanna just do-“
You groaned. “If you don’t want to, I get it.” You said. “But it’s okay. Just buy me a pill in the morning. You know where I live.” You teased.
Satoru bit his lip and nodded. “Okay.” He agreed. He placed one hand on the base of his cock, teasing your entrance with his tip. His other hand was spread out against the mirror on the wall behind you as he rested his weight on it. He slowly pushed in, your heat and wetness suffocating him in pleasure.
You both moaned at the sensation, watching him disappear inside you until your hips were pressed flush against each other. The stretch was intoxicating. Your forehead rested against his as you both attempted to control your breathing.
Satoru drew his hips back before sliding them completely forward again at a slow pace, watching over your face for your reaction. Your breath hitched as your grip on his shoulders tightened. He rolled his hips again matching the speed from the first thrust.
His hands fell to your hips, holding them in place as he continued his movements. “Fuck, you feel so good.” He groaned.
You whined in response, feeling him along every inch of your walls. Suguru was big, and you weren’t sure if it was the alcohol amplifying your pleasure, but Satoru felt like he was made for you. The way he took his time to make sure you felt every motion, the way he was so careful with every touch, it all just made you crave more of him.
His thrusts began to gain a bit more speed, though he still made sure to pull all the way out and press all the way back in until. Every slap of skin sent pulses of pleasure through your body. Every press of his hips against yours caused waves or vibrations through your sensitive clit.
Satoru was having trouble not to absolutely lose control. He maintained his meticulous motions, moaning into your ear. He was completely drunk on your pussy, obsessed with the way you squeezed around him. It was better than he’d ever thought it even could be.
You buried your face in the crook of his neck, your warm breath hitting his sweat covered skin. Your fingers dug into his skin. He pulled your hips to his with each thrust, pushing himself even deeper into you. You were overwhelmed from the pleasure running through you. Your body was on fire as the tension in your core built up.
Satoru moved one of his hands to your back, pulling you in close. “You’re doing so well.” He praised in between moans. “I’m- fuck- I’m close.”
You nodded in agreement, trying to tell him you were as well, but the only thing to leave your mouth was a pathetic mewl. You tilted your head back as you chased your high, moaning out your friend's name. “Satoru, fuck!” You repeated
The tension inside you snapped as you came, your body shaking. Your legs trembled around Satoru’s waist and your nails dug into the skin on his shoulders. Satoru let out a loud moan, quickly pulling out and letting his cum spill out from his cock and onto the floor. You whined at the loss.
You both stayed in that position for a moment, catching your breath. You let Satoru pepper gentle kisses along your skin, grateful for some genuine aftercare. His touch was soft, careful not to move too quickly while you were still so sensitive.
“You alright?” Satoru asked between small pecks.
You nodded silently in response. You were spent. Your body felt like you’d just ran a marathon, but you’ve also never felt better. You watched your roommate reach across the bathroom, keeping one hand on your skin as he did. He grabbed a clean, folded towel from the shelf and stepped back to you. He lifted it between your legs, helping you to feel at least a little cleaner.
You jumped as the fabric rubbed against your sensitive skin. You smiled up at the boy. “Thanks.” You whispered, just barely audible over the loud music playing through the rest of the house.
Satoru nodded. “Of course.” He grinned, looking at you through crooked, foggy glasses. He reached to the floor, grabbing your shorts and panties and helping you put them back on. His movements were delicate, as if you’d break if he moved the wrong way, yet so confident like he’d been dressing you for years. He reached beside you on the countertop, handing you your bra.
You put your bra back on, looking around the bathroom to make sure you grabbed all of your belongings. You stood in front of the mirror, bringing your fingers through your hair. You turned to Satoru, helping him with his hair and making sure his face was clean.
“You tell no one.” You ordered, your fingers raking through his hair.
Satoru nodded, letting you fix up his appearance. “Got it.” He answered. He looked down at you as you adjusted his round glasses. “You wanna leave?” He asked.
You sighed and nodded. “If you don’t mind, yeah.” You mumbled. “I feel like I gotta shower.” You giggled.
Satoru placed a hand on your back, leading you out of the bathroom and into the hall. “That’s fine. I didn’t plan on staying late anyways.” He shrugged.
The two of you made your way out of the house, thankful that no one stopped to talk, and into the cold night. You walked home in mostly silence, not sure what to even talk about after the events that just occurred in the bathroom. You held your arms close to your chest as the wind blew. Your eyes were glued to your shoes.
Satoru put an arm around you, pulling you close in an attempt to warm you up a bit. You looked up at him, stumbling a little. “Thanks.” You grinned, leaning into his warmth before continuing the rest of your walk home silently.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
You woke up in the morning with a pounding in your head. You swore to yourself, mentally reminding yourself you needed to get better at staying hydrated when you drank, and grabbed your phone beside you. You quickly opened it to your texts, messaging the group with both your roommates and asking for water and some painkillers. You laid the device back down before pulling your covers over your head to block the light.
There was a knock at your door before one of the boys let themselves in. You heard a glass set down on your nightstand followed by the much quieter noise of two pills beside it. You pulled the comforter back just enough to see who it was.
“Morning sleepyhead.” Suguru whispered, his eyes narrowing as he smiled wide.
“No.” You muttered, pushing the covers down. “I’m not awake.” You protested. You sat up, taking the pills and chugging the glass of water. You laid back down and pulled the covers over you once again.
Suguru laughed, placing a hand on you through the blankets. Even though you didn’t feel well, his voice and his company were comforting. “Do you feel sick or is it just a headache?” He asked quietly.
You sighed. “A little stomach pain.” You mumbled.
Suguru nodded to himself. “Do you want me to stay in here with you?” He offered.
You hesitated, thinking it over in your head. You’d love to be taken care of right now, but you didn’t want Suguru staying with you. You didn’t want either roommate there. You thought some more. The more time you were spending alone, the more time you had to ponder over the relationship you had with each of your roommates and what they both meant for the future. Hell, you’d probably do it if they were both sleeping in your room anyways.
You let out a sigh, lifting your arm up to make a hole in your blankets. “Can I just text you if I need you?” You questioned.
Your roommate watched as your head poked through the space in your bedding. “I’ll have my phone on me.” He assured you. He reached out, gently rubbing the hair on top of your head. “Sleep well.” He said before turning to leave, slowly shutting the door behind him so it wouldn’t be too loud.
You returned to the inside of your cocoon of blankets. Your mind began to wander, thinking about last night with Satoru, and your first night with Suguru, and every moment you’d spent with them in between the two. You felt like an idiot. How could someone cross the line with not just one, but two roommates? Things were alright with Suguru though, weren’t they? And you both agreed you weren’t going to be exclusive with one another, so there was nothing wrong with sleeping with Satoru that once.
The situation with Satoru, on the other hand, felt entirely different. You felt guilty, like you’d used him for your own pleasure. Sure, you were both drinking so it wasn’t a fully conscious decision on both your parts, but it was still you who initiated taking the kiss further by dragging him into a dirty fraternity bathroom of all places. You tugged your pillow into your chest as your heart pounded, ringing through your brain.
There was no better way to say it, you felt awful. You knew Satoru was a playboy, you knew he got touchy when he was drunk, but it wasn’t your intention to take advantage of that, was it?
Satoru laid in his bed on the other side of your thin wall. His limbs sprawled out across the mattress as he stared up at his ceiling.
His mind was tossing and turning for the same reason. He was angry with himself. He let his own emotions take over last night. He should’ve never grabbed your waist, or made you leave the dining room. Fuck, he should’ve never been so persistent about staying by your side once you ran into Shoko and the others. You were an adult, you would’ve been safe on your own. You definitely wouldn’t have hooked up with him if he’d just given you space, too.
He looked at the texts on his phone, seeing your request for water followed by Suguru’s ’okay’ hand symbol. He sighed, squinting to see the words without his glasses.
Suguru had also noticed something was a bit off. He noticed it as soon as you and Satoru returned home after the party. He heard both of you come inside, neither of you talking, and both going into your own rooms without a word. He heard one of you in the shower, expecting you to at least come say goodnight to him considering the light in his room was still on.
When he woke up the next morning to a quiet, empty apartment, he knew his suspicions were probably correct. That, or both of you drank
way
too much. He was hoping you’d let him stay with you to at least talk about your night and what he assumed was an argument between you and Satoru. The other boy still hadn’t come out of his room, making him think it was definitely something between the two of you.
When you finally woke up, Suguru decided he’d confront you about it as subtly as possible.
“Feeling better?” He asked you as you trudged into his room.
Your heart felt heavy and the guilt of what you think you’d done to your other roommate weighed on you. “I guess.” You muttered, sitting beside him on his bed.
Suguru sat with his back against the wall. “How was the party?” He continued. “You two seem like you had a lot of fun.”
Your chest tightened at his comment. “What’s that supposed to mean?” You asked.
Suguru raised an eyebrow, confused by your reaction. “Just saying since it’s…” He paused to check the time on his phone. “12:17 and you just got up. Satoru’s still sleeping, I think.”
You sighed in relief. “Oh yeah.” You put your head in your hands. “It was fun, yeah.” You answered.
Suguru watched as you leaned over your lap, unsatisfied with the answer you’d given him. He chewed his bottom lip, trying to think of what he could ask without being too direct. “Sorry I couldn’t make it.”
You shook your head, not lifting your gaze to meet him. “It’s fine. You were busy.”
The boy hated seeing you like this. He knew something was off. He wanted so badly to help you or to console you, even if that meant scolding his best friend for upsetting you, but he didn’t want to make anything worse by bringing it up if you didn’t want to talk about it.
He slowly draped an arm around you, pulling you into his side. “You seem upset.” He stated, figuring he might as well point out the obvious.
You huffed as you let yourself settle into him, finding comfort in your friend. “I’m fine.” You lied.
Suguru exhaled heavily. “Okay.” He said, accepting that you weren’t willing to give him any explanation at the moment. “I think you should eat something.”
With that, he forced you out into the rest of the apartment. He let you sit on the couch while he made you his so-called special hangover cure. You knew it was just peanut butter and banana toast like usual, but you were still grateful to have him taking care of you while you felt like shit. You brought your legs up to your chest as you sat against the arm of the couch, watching Suguru in the kitchen.
You both turned your heads when Satoru finally came out of his room. He disappeared into the bathroom just a moment later without a word. You put your head down, unable to shake the guilty feeling overwhelming you. The shower started from behind the bathroom door as Suguru stepped toward you.
“Eat.” He commanded as he placed the plate of toast on the coffee table. The couch dipped as he sat on the other end. “You’re gonna feel worse if you don’t.”
You sighed in response, stating in your position for a few more moments before grabbing the plate. You took a bite and slowly chewed the food. You weren’t sure if you could stomach it, not because you were hungover, but because your anxiety was through the roof. “Thank you.” You mumbled to your roommate in between bites.
Satoru stood in the shower, letting the water fall over him. He’d thought all morning about how he should approach the situation. He couldn’t tell Suguru what he was feeling, he thought he’d end up with a black eye if he told him he crossed that boundary with you. He wanted to talk to you about it. He had to at least put his mind at ease and see that you weren’t upset with him.
He stayed in the shower until the water ran cold. He shut the stream off and stepped out of the tub. He stared at his reflection in the foggy mirror, as if he were trying to read his own facial expressions. He needed to make sure his face was as sincere as his words when you spoke.
He dried off his body and pulled his clothes on, changing into black sweatpants and a tan hoodie. He grabbed his glasses off of the sink and pushed them on his nose before leaving to go back to his room.
Satoru noticed you and Suguru sitting together on the couch. You were always with him, weren’t you? It shouldn’t have surprised him anymore. You just had more in common with Suguru, but it was hard not to get upset over it. He stepped back into his room, closing the door just a bit too loud behind him as he did.
Suguru looked at you as you jumped from the noise. “Did you two get into an argument or something?” He finally asked, thankful that he had a good reason to.
You simply nodded, figuring you’d take the easy way out of explaining yourself to him. “Yeah.” You muttered.
Suguru sighed, spreading his arms over the back of the couch. “You know, even though he’s my best friend, I’ll beat him up for you if I have to.”
You let out a dry laugh and shook your head. “No, it’s fine.” You reassured him. “I’ll talk to him later about it… Hopefully.”
Satoru stayed in his room for a bit longer. He didn’t know if he could think of the right words to say to you when he finally did come out. His conscience weighed heavily on him as he sat on the edge of his bed, his head hung low. He finally decided to just talk to you instead of pondering over what he would and wouldn’t say. He heard you back in your room on the other side of his wall and stood up from his bed.
Satoru walked out of his room, ignoring Suguru who was still on the couch, and knocked at your door.
You looked up at your closed door. You just talked to Suguru, why was he trying to bother you again? “Come in.” You called out as you gathered up art supplies from your desk.
Satoru turned the doorknob, pushing your door open just enough to stick his head through. “Can we talk?” He asked in a soft tone.
Your heart dropped when you saw him. You nodded without a word and watched as he stepped into your room and shut the door behind him.
Satoru huffed, every thought he just had about this conversation was now gone as he stood in front of you.
“I’m sorry.” You spoke out first.
Satoru raised an eyebrow. “Huh?”
You looked at him as he stood confused. “I said I’m sorry.” You repeated. “I feel like-“
“No, I heard you.” He interrupted. “I’m just confused. Why are
you
sorry?”
You sighed, setting down the supplies in your hand. “I just feel like I used you.” You admitted. “I know you get a little touchy and what not and I was the one that brought you upstairs.”
Satoru shook his head. “Are you kidding me?” He exclaimed. “This whole time I was stressed out because I felt like I did the same thing to you.” He explained.
You bit your lip. “Why would you think that? You didn’t initiate anything more than just a kiss?”
The boy shrugged. “I mean, if you think about it, you wouldn’t have brought me upstairs if I hadn’t kissed you right?” He pointed out. “So really I’m to blame.”
You looked down at your feet as he spoke. “But how do you know I didn’t plan on that?”
Satoru paused after you asked that question before letting out a small laugh. “Because look at how much it’s eating you up.” He said. “You’re not evil, you’d never plan on something like that happening. Hell, you didn’t even bring a condom with you.”
You met his gaze again. “So you’re not upset with me? Like, you’re fine?”
Your roommate nodded. “As long as you’re fine, I promise I’m fine.” He stated.
You felt tears prick at your eyes as a wave of relief washed over your body. You hated that you cried so easily when you were overwhelmed, but right now you couldn’t help it. You fought the tears that threatened to spill out.
Satoru noticed your eyes starting to water and quickly closed the gap between you. He wrapped his arms around you and pulled you close to his chest. “Please don’t cry. You know I hate it when people cry.” He mumbled.
You nodded against the fabric of his sweatshirt. “I know.” You sniffled. “I just thought you were gonna hate me forever.” You spoke against his chest as you put your arms around him.
Satoru sighed. “I couldn’t hate you forever even if you tried.” He told you truthfully. He didn’t have the heart to hate you, especially for something as silly as hooking up with him while you were both a bit tipsy.
You let a few tears drop from your eyes and soak into the hoodie on Satoru’s body. You squeezed him tighter, as if you were afraid he was going to change his mind. “I promise not to do something so stupid again.”
Satoru laughed a bit. “I had fun though!” He said, only half joking.
You leaned your head back to look at him. “I did, too, but I’m not trying to ruin a good thing here.” You laughed with him.
Satoru reached his hand up to your face, using his thumb to gently wipe the few tears that sat on your cheeks. “What do you mean?” He asked.
You huffed and stuck your bottom lip out, forming a cute pout that sent Satoru’s heart racing. “I dunno…” You trailed off. “I just, y’know, you’re one of my best friends. I didn’t want to jeopardize that by sleeping with you.”
The boy nodded in understanding. “I get it.” He watched over your features as you relaxed a bit in his arms. “Was it good, though?” He blurted out without thinking.
“Excuse me?!” Your head snapped up to lock eyes with him.
Satoru’s face flushed after he realized what he’d just said. “Sorry! Sorry.” He apologized. “But really, I am kinda curious.”
You gave him a light smack on the arm. “Inappropriate.” You scolded. You stayed quiet for a moment before nodding. “It was good though, yes.” You answered.
Satoru grinned at your response. “If you enjoyed it, you know where to find me.” He teased.
Your heart skipped a beat. “Did you tell Suguru about this?” You asked in a panic.
The boy crinkled his nose in confusion. “What? No.” He answered. You knew he was telling the truth because you could always tell when he lied. He would avoid eye contact, fumble with his hands, and his voice would get a little higher when he spoke. “Why are you bringing him up?”
You shook your head, trying to wave it off. “This just seems like some scheme you two would pull together.” You made up as an excuse for your question.
Satoru rolled his eyes. “I may be a guy, but I don’t tell Suguru about my sex life. Especially if it’s someone he knows.” He explained. “He knows probably the same amount as you do… Maybe less now I guess.”
Your heart beat quickly as he spoke, almost loud enough to drown out his words. This couldn’t be happening. Both of your roommates were now looking to make sleeping with you behind the others back a regular occurrence. You weren’t sure if you should just play along or call it off with both of them.
You thought it over while Satoru continued talking. Suguru was rough and dominant, even when he would take things a bit slow, his actions still felt primal and possessive. Satoru on the other hand was soft and delicate. Every single move he made was precise, making sure every nerve in your body had a reaction. You’d be lying to yourself if you said you could choose between them.
“I’ll think about it.” You told the boy holding you before you gently pushed out of his arms.
Satoru looked at you as you went back to gather your supplies from your desk. “You’re serious?” He asked, surprised you didn’t just assume he was joking and tell him to get out.
You nodded. “Serious.” You confirmed. You looked over to him. “For now, though, we have to tell Suguru we had an argument.” You explained.
Satoru tilted his head to the side. “Why?”
“I might’ve told him we did so he would stop asking questions. He told me he’d beat the crap out of you if he had to.”
The boy groaned. “He couldn’t beat the- Fine.” He said. “Just tell him we argued over Kento.”
“Ew.” You spat, setting your paints up. “Why him?”
“I mean, we talked about him a little bit, right? Just tell him I treated you like a child over it.” He suggested. “I think he’d at least agree with me that Kento sucks ass when it comes to being a good boyfriend, but he’d also side with you if he thinks the conversation was pointless.”
You looked at him with your eyes wide. “You’re kind of a genius.” You complimented.
Satoru shrugged. “I know.”
“Don’t push it.”
Later that afternoon, Satoru sat with Suguru to tell him everything but the truth. He explained how you got to the party, found Shoko and the rest of your friends, and then talked with Kento for far too long. He told him that he talked to you afterwards and told you that it was a bad idea to get involved with him again.
“She says they’re just friends.” Suguru pointed out.
Satoru nodded. “I know, but he’s really just such an ass.”
He explained how he kept complimenting you and trying to seem sweet, while he was most definitely stealing glances at other girls around the room. “I just don’t want her to get hurt again.”
Suguru sighed, leaning back in his desk chair. “We’d have to kill him, right?” He joked, looking over to Satoru who was sitting criss-cross on his bed.
Satoru shrugged. “Probably.” He laughed. “We talked about it though. She said she has no intentions of getting back together with him.”
The younger of the two hummed softly. “I don’t think she would. She’s not desperate.” He stated as he turned back to work on his art. “But I get why you said something.”
The white haired boy watched him. He decided not to talk more on the subject. He didn’t want to mess up and get caught in the lie you two came up with. He knew pushing the story too much would only result in Suguru getting more suspicious. He decided to change the subject. “Isn’t your cousin’s wedding coming up?” He asked.
Suguru let out a heavy sigh and nodded. “Yeah, and I have a plus one but no one to take.” He groaned.
“You can take me!” Satoru offered. “I love weddings!”
Suguru turned his head to give him an annoyed look. “My parents already think we’re secretly together. I don’t think taking you as my date to a wedding would be good for convincing them otherwise.”
The white haired boy scoffed. “Why does everyone think I’m gay?”
“You’re gay?” You asked, poking your head through the open door as you were passing by from your own bedroom. You were dressed with light makeup on, ready to leave the house.
Suguru laughed as Satoru scrambled to catch you up on the conversation. “Everyone keeps saying I am. I swear I’m not!” He defended. “Not that that’s a bad thing, it’s just, I’m not gay okay!”
You leaned against the door frame. “Wait, why are we talking about this?” You crossed your arms over your chest.
“He wants to be my date at my cousin's wedding.” Suguru smirked, nudging his friend.
Satoru pouted. “I didn’t call it a date!” He swatted his hand away. The two continued to play fight, each trying to push the other.
“Enough.” You said sternly, causing both of them to look at you. “Why do you need a date?”
Suguru sighed. “You know how my family is. My mom thinks I’m gonna be married by, like, next year.”
You laughed a little. “You? Is she serious?”
“Yes.” Both boys answered you.
“Why don’t I go with you?” You offered.
Suguru looked at you with an expression you couldn’t quite read. He hesitated for a moment before giving you an answer. “They won’t buy it.”
“Harsh.” Satoru stated.
“They know her!” Suguru defended his answer. “That’s like if you tried telling your parents she was your girlfriend.”
“I’m right here.” You spoke out.
Both boys looked at you. “Well then what do you suggest?” Satoru asked you.
You stepped further into the room. “Ask Shoko.” You suggested. “She’s from out of state, right? Then they won’t know her and it’s someone you’re comfortable with.”
“That’s why we keep you around.” Suguru proclaimed, pointing a finger at you. “And they say weed fries your brain.”
You rolled your eyes and sat on the edge of the bed next to Satoru. You changed the topic, asking Suguru questions about his art projects instead of carrying on with this wedding conversation. Satoru’s eyes were on you as you talked with the other boy. His mind went back to last night. The way you sounded, the way you melted under his touch, the way you tasted on his tongue. It was hard to leave it at just that. He wanted, no, needed to be with you again. He wanted you all to himself, but there was no way in hell he’d ever admit it to you. He needed you to want him the same way.
He watched you talk so comfortably and casually with his best friend. He knew he shouldn’t be jealous. He knew there wasn’t a chance you two wouldn’t tell him if you were together, but every small smile you shared with him or little giggle you made when he said something that honestly wasn’t that funny tugged at his heart. His chest felt tight. Why did it bother him now? Sure, he’s been jealous of how close you were with Suguru over him, but he’s never had such an issue with it. He ripped his eyes from you, pulling out his phone and deciding it would be a good distraction from the two in front of him.
You smiled at both of them. “Well, I’m off.” You explained. “I promised Shoko I’d hang out with her today.”
The boys both said their goodbyes as you left.
You were so glad to finally be able to hang out with Shoko alone. It seemed that you’re scheduled never seemed to line up except for when you’d go out partying or to a bar. You missed spending time with her like you had your first two years of school.
You walked in through the front door of a small cafe not too far from your apartment, causing the bells on the door to jingle.
Shoko was sat at a table with a drink already. She stood up and walked to you, wrapping her arms around you. “(Y/N)!” She smiled as she talked.
You hugged her back, taking in the sweet smell of her perfume and the very faint scent of cigarettes on her. “Sorry I’m a little late.” You muttered.
She shook her head as she pulled back. “It’s fine, don’t worry. I’m sure it was one of those two idiots faults.” She joked, standing with you as you ordered. She led you back to the table she was sitting at earlier.
You rolled your eyes thinking about the two boys. If only she knew. “I don’t know how I do it sometimes.” You laughed.
“Neither do I.”
The two of you caught up with each other over your drinks and pastries. You talked about school, how your classes were going and projects you both had coming up, as well as gossip about your friends.
“Ino told me Kento was really jealous last night when you and Satoru left us.” Shoko smirked. “I think he’s really regretting how he ended things.”
You sighed. “He’ll get over it.” You muttered.
The girl laughed a bit. “I know! I just think it’s funny that he’s jealous of Satoru.”
You paused for a moment, thinking over your words carefully in your head. You needed to keep last night a secret, and Shoko was probably the worst person to accidentally let it slip in front of. She had a habit of repeating everyone’s drama, whether she meant to or not.
“I guess so.” You settled on for your response.
Shoko groaned. “I just feel like he’s far from your type.” She explained.
You huffed out a small laugh. “I guess.” You shrugged. “What do you think
is
my type?”
Shoko tilted her head as she thought. “Well, honestly, I didn’t think Kento was either.” She thought out loud. “I just think you seem like you’d be into a more… alternative guy.”
You raised an eyebrow at her. “What makes you say that?” You asked.
“Just your vibe. You’re really sweet on the outside, but you’re a bitch inside.” She teased, causing you to both laugh. “So someone the opposite of that, I guess. Someone who’s got a kinda edgier vibe, but is super nice on the inside.”
You looked at her confused. She really could talk some nonsense.
Shoko sat up straight. “I mean, I could see you with Suguru.” She stated.
You choked on your coffee as the words hit your ear. You placed the cup down and shot her a look of panic. “What?”
She snorted at how flustered you’d become. “Oh man, I was right, wasn’t I?” She watched you in amusement as you tried to explain yourself.
“I’m not into Suguru!” You replied. “He’s handsome and all, but I wouldn’t date him.” You said as a light blush covered your cheeks.
Shoko nodded slowly. “Sure… So you’ve never wondered if he’s good in bed?”
You didn’t have to wonder, but you’d never tell her that.
“Why would I?” You asked. “We’re just friends. That’s all.”
Shoko watched your face flush. She knew you got flustered a bit easily, but the last time she saw you with this same type of expression was when she found out you and Kento were hooking up. Her eyes grew wide as her jaw dropped. She let out a dramatic gasp.
“You’re fucking Suguru?!”
