Taehyung was lost in his own little world, watching silently as Hoseok moved about in front of him. The room was full of people diligently watching the banshee twist his body this way and that way and though Taehyung was watching, he wasn't entirely seeing. He did see the hint of glistening sweat over that naturally tanned skin, the way those muscles tensed and clenched with every movement and Taehyung still swore his friend was the best dancer in the world. Dark hair stuck to his brow from sweat and his chest was heaving with breath but still, Hoseok danced. The group in the room followed his every move with their eyes, trying to memorize what he was teaching them.
Taehyung had never seen this routine before but that didn't matter. Every move Hoseok made was a piece of art, including the man himself. It was a fleeting thought, a thought that made something deep in Taehyung's chest clench just a little bit but it soon passed because what was the past was the past and no matter how much he may want to change it, he knew when to leave things as they were. Still, watching Hoseok was an honor and maybe something deep in his heart still clung to the banshee because there he was, oceans away from home and his lovers just to keep him company.

Hoseok didn't need Taehyung to travel with him like he once had. Back when things were simplier, back when the world was harder to traverse and they always stumbled upon something new. Back when they were new, when they were growing and bloosoming until it all came crashing down with the harsh realization that Hoseok... couldn't. He just couldn't. It still stung, when Taehyung thought too much about it but he didn't blame his old friend. Hoseok didn't have a heart he could give away so it only made sense they ended what was bloosoming between the two of them but that didn't make it any easier for Taehyung to handle. It still stung and if hadn't been for Jimin, well, he wasn't sure where he would be because of it.

Jimin and Jungkook aside, Taehyung's chest still ached for the man twirling across the room in front of him. It happened occasionally, a small thump in his chest when Hoseok glanced at him, touched him, smiled at him. Perhaps it would always be there, no matter how much he moved on and in a way, that was comforting. He wasn't the most purest of creatures but to know he could love, could keep that love, was something that made it easier for him to accept what he was.

Applause erupted in the room and Taehyung followed suit, clapping his hands with a wild smile on his lips as Hoseok took a bow, that sunshine smile on his lips, bunching up his cheeks. He was stunning, always so stunning, and when he turned to restart the song, everyone moved to their feet, happy to finally get to learn the wonderful moves he had created for them. Taehyung remained seated on the floor with his back against the wall, out of the way but still able to watch the class. He wasn't there to learn. He was moral support for his friend plus, they'd never been to Canada together and Taehyung had wanted to see it.

The heavy beat started up in the speakers again but Hoseok took his time with his class. Explaining each move and each count, giving individual attention to those who needed it. His english was improving from the sound of it and Taehyung was a little envious. Hoseok traveled a lot more than him these days and the man was learning all kinds of languages. He was more versed than Namjoon at that point and that was really saying something since the wolf spent most of his free time learning things about other countries as much as he could, including their languages.

Taehyung was lost, watching as Hoseok's hands moved over a young woman's waist, tilting her in the right way so she knew how to move when his phone suddenly vibrated in his hand. The soft jingle was lost under the heavy beat but Taehyung dropped his eyes to the screen and smiled softly at the "Jungkookie" flashing across it. It was late back in Seoul, he knew it had to be, probably close to midnight or something, Taehyung wasn't sure about time differences and all that too much. But still, Jungkook was messaging him and it made his chest thump.

He curled up against the wall, bringing his knees up so he could cradle his phone in his hands, swiping his thumb across the screen to read the message. Ah, the positives of modern technology. Instead of a series of words awaiting him like he expected, there was a picture that made his heart stop in his chest.

Yoongi.

The human was sleeping, from the look of it and was that...? Taehyung gasped and brought the phone closer to his face because that was their bed. He recognized the red sheets and Jimin's tiger plushie in the corner against the headboard. Yoongi wasn't alone in the bed from the look of it and though it was a little dark, there was enough light to see exactly what was going on. Yoongi looked stunning in the soft light, his naturally pale skin almost glowing against his jet black hair. His face looked peaceful, his plump pink lips relaxed and his hands curled into fists under his chin. He was curled into a ball, his knees almost against his stomach but there was an arm in the way preventing him from curling up completely. Jimin's arm. Jimin was spooning Yoongi and it was the cutest fucking thing Taehyung had ever seen. He couldn't see Jimin's face but he knew that tanned muscled arm and small hand anywhere. He was holding Yoongi securely, his face tucked against the human's neck and before Taehyung could pick out more details, Jungkook sent him another picture.

This time, the demon's cheeky face was in it. He had laid down beside Yoongi, not touching the human but close enough to share breath and where both Jimin and Yoongi were on their sides, Jungkook was on his back, holding the phone up above them so he could capture the three of them in the frame. His teeth were practically glowing in the light with his grin and Taehyung's chest thumped in envy and something... almost sad? Like lonliness. Perhaps sadness?

See what you're missing out on.

Taehyung grit his teeth at the snarky comment Jungkook sent and he was tempted to say something snarky in return but...

He was missing out. He almost wanted to whine at the fact. How did Jungkook and Jimin convince Yoongi to stay the night with them? The human was very apprehensive of their relationship and insisted on taking it slow. They went on dates, they spent time together, but they hadn't spent the night over each other's places since that first night they had no choice but to stay at Yoongi's because it rained. Truthfully, Taehyung didn't understand Yoongi's reluctance because it was bound to happen anyway but he respected his space enough to not push it.

And yet, there Yoongi was, curling up in their bed and spooning with Jimin. Taehyung was almost offended that he had been left out but he found the entire thing much too cute to be too upset about it. It was a step in the right direction and even if he wasn't there, he was happy for Jungkook and Jimin. Especially for Jungkook. The demon was about as head over heels for someone as he could be so it was nice to see him being so friendly with Yoongi. He deserved that, he really did.

After a moment of thought, Taehyung turned on his phone camera and shifted to take a picture of himself pouting, ruffling his hair a little in the process because he knew he looked good and they all probably missed his face. He sent the picture with a proud little grin and waited for some type of response, hoping Jungkook hadn't passed out on him already.

That pout doesn't work on anyone anymore, Tae

Taehyung found himself pouting even more at Jungkook's response.

But we miss you too

He giggled softly to himself and clutched his phone tightly in his hands, warmth spreading through his body like fire because it was nice to know. Jungkook could never say the words out loud but he never had much issue writing them down through texts. In fact, the first time he ever told Taehyung how he felt was through a message and they were sitting right next to each other. It was cute, really, and he wondered if Yoongi would have the same type of confession from the demon.

Taehyung got a little distracted talking to Jungkook for a while so he didn't notice when the class ended and people left. Jungkook had sent him another picture of Yoongi, all close up in his face and he knew the human would be so pissed if he knew Jungkook was sending him pictures of his sleeping face. Which made it all the better in Taehyung's opinion.

"You've been over here grinning at your phone for like half an hour."

Taehyung glanced up at Hoseok's voice and could only smile at the dripping with sweat banshee. "Jungkookie." He answered, twisting his phone in his hand and holding it up for Hoseok to see.

"Hmm?" Hoseok peered down at the screen while dabbing at the back of his neck with a towel. "That doesn't look like Jungkookie to me."

"Yah, it's Yoongi. But Jungkookie's been sending me pictures of him. Isn't he cute?" Taehyung grinned and pulled his phone back so he could stare at the picture.

Hoseok made a soft noise in the back of his throat and settled down beside Taehyung, careful not to wipe his sweat off on the vampire as he leaned back against the wall and downed some water. "Yoongi... He's the human right?"

"Not just any human. Our human." Taehyung said with a proud grin, switching back to the first picture Jungkook sent him to show Hoseok, leaning their shoulders together without a care for the other man's sweat. "Look at him, Hobi, isn't he adorable?"

Hoseok chuckled softly as he gazed at the picture. "You were always weak for adorable." He shifted away to down the rest of his water bottle. "I didn't know this thing with him was that serious."

"Eh?" Taehyung tilted his head in confusion and eyed the profile of his friend's face. "I told you a while ago we were seeing him."

"Yeah but..." Hoseok shrugged and forced a smile that didn't reach his eyes. "The three of you aren't usually serious about anything but each other."

"Hm... I mean, I suppose it was just some fun at first but, Yoongi's really kind of great." Taehyung nodded at his own words. "For a human."

"For a human." Hoseok repeated softly.

Taehyung squinted his eyes at the other and Hoseok dropped his eyes to the floor at his look. "You're not saying something."

"It's not a big deal, Tae."

"Since when don't you tell me stuff?"

Hoseok sighed heavily and ran a hand through his sweaty dark locks, looking slightly frustrated in the process. "I always tell you stuff, Tae."

"You're not telling me stuff right now."

Another sigh that made something tighten in Taehyung's chest. Hoseok shifted to rest an arm on his bent knee and tilted his head back against the wall to stare at the ceiling. "I'm just worried, I guess. That's what I do, you know, worry."

"What are you worried about? Yoongi's really good to us. Like, really good." Taehyung shifted to sit up straighter. "He handles Jungkookie's mood swings really well and he always knows how to take care of Jiminnie without being asked and he certainly doesn't mind me taking a bite or two on occasion. He takes care of us."

"I know." Hoseok bit into his lower lip before letting out a long breath through his nose. "Jin-hyung has told me pretty much everything. I'm happy for you three, I am."

"But? There's a but isn't there. I can see there's a but and not the good kind of butt either."

Hoseok crinkled his nose and it looked like he was struggling with what he wanted to say so Taehyung was patient. He waited silently for his friend to put his words together. "But he's human."

Taehyung crinkled his nose in return. "You... say that like it's such a bad thing. You haven't even met him yet."

"How long have the four of you been... doing this?" Hoseok flicked a hand in the air.

"Dating. Yoongi calls it dating and uh, since Halloween?" Taehyung rose his eyes to the ceiling in thought. "So... seven months?"

"Seven months is nothing to us, but it's a long time to a human."

Taehyung nodded in understanding. "That's why we're taking it slow. We've got plenty of time."

"I find you taking it slow a hard thing to believe." Hoseok grinned softly, knocking his shoulder into Taehyung's and the playful nature made the tightness in his chest loosen and he grinned, shoving back gently.

"It's sooooooo hard, especially since Yoongi is so cute." Taehyung sighed dreamily and melted against Hoseok's side, clasping hands against his chest. "I just wanna touch him all over, all the time Hobi but he won't let me. I know he wants it but he's playing hard to get."

"Humans have less time then us, so he probably wants to be sure about what you four are doing."

Less time.

Those words struck a cord inside Taehyung and he leaned up, twisting his head toward Hoseok in confusion. "What do you mean less time?"

Hoseok perked a brow at him as he twisted his empty water bottle in his hands nervously. "They don't live forever. They age, they grow old, they die. It's a normal human cycle. You were human once, remember?"

"Not really." He scratched at the back of neck.

"You have all the time in the world but Yoongi... he's limited. So he's probably more cautious with his decisions."

"I didn't..." Something cold and heavy landed in the pit of Taehyung stomach. Perhaps his heart. "Think about that."

"That's what I was afraid of."

"He's gonna die." The words felt numb against his lips and Taehyung thunked back against the wall.

Hoseok's hand was warm against his shoulder but it did little to sooth the strickingly cold feeling settling in his chest. "I didn't want to say anything, but it worries me. I know you get attached so easily and-"

"I'll just turn him." Taehyung clapped his hands together abruptly, startling the banshee. "Then he'll live forever, like us."

"What if he doesn't want that, Taehyung?"

Taehyung scoffed softly, shaking his head. "Of course he'll want it. He'll want to be with us forever, right?"

"It might be too soon for him to decide, Taehyung."

"You don't know him. He'll want to. I know he will."

"Tae..." Hoseok sighed softly but let it go, nodding his head with a tender smile, squeezing the vampire's shoulder gently. "You keep saying I don't know him so maybe you should introduce me, hm?"

Taehyung perked up, a grin coming to his lips that split across his face. "That's a great idea!"

Taehyung was grateful for the change of subject, but the idea still lingered in the back of his mind, where it could fester and claw at his insides until he decided to do something about it. But for now, he could focus on telling Hoseok all about Yoongi and how he couldn't wait for his old friend to meet his new lover. It was long overdue anyway and Hoseok seemed more then happy to meet the human.

The curve of Yoongi's throat, right where shoulder met neck, might be Taehyung's favorite place. He nuzzled his nose against the heated flesh gently, inhaling a scent that was strickly Min Yoongi. Something warm and minty with a hint of the spicyness Taehyung knew his own scent to be. He could feel Yoongi's heart beat beneath his chest and against his lips. It was tempting to bite but he reframed, keeping his lips pressed against the pulsing vein and he slowly breathed in and out, memorizing the scent and feelings flooding through his body at the moment.

Yoongi was mostly quiet beneath him, only panting slightly through his parted lips as his hands rubbed gentle circles into the small of Taehyung's bare back. It was an almost absentminded action but Taehyung appreciated it. His thighs were straining, sore and worn on either side of Yoongi's hips but he was comfortable, sprawled out over the human and Yoongi had yet to make a complaint about it, so Taehyung remained where he was, savoring the lingering buzzing of pleasure spreading from head to toe.

He could still feel Yoongi all over him, his lips, his fingers, his hair, his everything. It wasn't something Taehyung ever wanted to let go of and when he shifted to slip his hands under the human, sliding along the mattress, Yoongi only grunted softly at the hug the vampire was attempting to give him. Every part of them was touching in some way and Taehyung thrived on it. He had the fleeting thought that Jungkook really didn't know what he was missing but that was replaced with Yoongi's lips against the curve of his ear, kissing so gentle it made him want to cry.

Nothing about what they did was gentle. Taehyung didn't do gentle. He was rough, quick and hot, hands and teeth and claws and Yoongi accomidated that. His back was still stinging from those human nails digging into his skin, deep enough to bleed but Taehyung was a little too strong for that. But the sting was still there it was so utterly satisfying it made him moan softly. He pressed closer, brushing his nose along the curve of Yoongi's neck and though he tasted sex and sweat against his tongue, he lapped at his pulse with purpose.

Yoongi groaned faintly, a strangled sound but he didn't push Taehyung away. His hands stilled against his back for just a second before they started rubbing again, gentle as could be. It made something tight form in Taehyung's chest because they weren't gentle and yet there was Yoongi being gentle with him. Petting his hair, rubbing his back, soothing his hands over his tense thighs, slipping out of him as carefully as he could. He felt empty, without Yoongi inside him but the feeling was still there. The knowledge of what they had done and the lingering sensations all over his body. Yoongi hadn't pushed him away, probably wouldn't push him away until he absolutely had to and that knowledge made Taehyung's once beating heart thump hard.

He never expected a human to be the one to make his heart beat again.

When Taehyung's lips latched onto his pulse, Yoongi let out a grunt of soft disapproval.

"I'm covered in your marks, do you really have to do that?" His voice was utterly wrecked, a deep cracking sound that made Taehyung's body flush with warmth. He had always been so cold and then Yoongi came along, filling him with a warmth he hadn't felt since he was human and... And Taehyung was choking on emotion, pressing soft kisses to Yoongi's pulse.

"You taste good though, hyung." His voice wasn't any better but that didn't really matter at the moment. Yoongi sighed softly, bringing up a hand to stroke through blond locks, sending tingles all through the vampire's body. He shuttered at the feeling and buried his face deeper into Yoongi's neck.

"No marks I can't hide." Yoongi tried to sound stern but with how wrecked his voice was, it just came out more like a suggestion.

Taehyung whined softly in the back of his throat. If he didn't leave his mark then how would Namjoon know to back the fuck off? It wasn't fair. "You're mean, hyung."

Yoongi snorted softly. "Yah, you wanna deal with Jungkook seeing then fine, be my guest."

The vampire pouted softly but he understood. It was a little complicated with Jungkook. Taehyung almost wanted to feel guilty for what he got to do with Yoongi but... well, it was Jungkook who wouldn't let himself have what he wanted and how was that Taehyung's fault at all? It wasn't. He should be able to love the man he loved without guilt but... Still, he kind of wished Jungkook would let himself have what he so desperately desired. It'd make everything between the four of them a little easier. He understood Jungkook's reluctance on some level but at the same time, he thought the demon should just go for it because Taehyung knew he wouldn't hurt Yoongi. They all trusted him and yet, he couldn't trust himself. It'd take time, Taehyung supposed but...

Yoongi didn't have all the time in the world like the rest of them.

Yoongi... He's limited.

Hoseok's words came flooding back to the front of Taehyung's mind like a tidal wave and if he needed air to breathe, he probably would have lost it all at once. Instead, his chest went tight and his eyes snapped open, a stinging senstation at the corners. He hadn't forgotten the converstation he had with the banshee all those months ago but, he hadn't thought about it since either.

This... What he had with Yoongi. He wanted it forever. He wanted those soft plump lips against his always, those long elegant fingers wrapping around his wrist, that gummy smile, that rough voice, that kind but silent care. He wanted it all. He wanted Yoongi forever and he knew Jimin and Jungkook felt the same. They had to. Jimin had his time with Yoongi, Taehyung knew what the two of them got up to went left alone. They weren't like Taehyung was. They were soft and gentle and warm but that was only because that was what Jimin needed. Taehyung knew Jimin wouldn't want to ever lose the special something he had with Yoongi. He couldn't even bring himself to imagine what it would be like without Yoongi now that they had him. The thought alone was enough to make him want to scream.

Taehyung sat up abruptly, startling Yoongi slightly. He settled easily in the human's lap, straddling his waist like he had been previously but this position was different. This wasn't sexual, this was serious. Yoongi blinked up at him in slight surprise as Taehyung stared down at him intensely, his brow furrowed and his lips pursed.

Yoongi looked gorgeous beneath him. The human was naked, and in the soft glow of light coming in from the windows, his pale skin almost glistened. He was thin but he wasn't lanky in any manner. He had a decent amount of muscle along his arms, chest and thighs. It wasn't anything compared to Jimin and Jungkook, but it was enought to make Taehyung's mouth water a little bit. There were marks along his chest, along his side and around his hips. Most of them were hidden under Taehyung's own thighs and the contrast of their skin, pale white and sunkissed tan, was so stricking it made Taehyung's throat tight.

Black hair was a mess around his head, spread out over the pillow and Taehyung wanted to run his fingers through it, knowing it would be soft to the touch. His rounded cheeks were still flushed from pleasure and his lips were pinker than usual, plump and perfect from too much kissing. There was a little red mark just at the curve of his neck and Taehyung smirked softly to himself because that had been an accident but he wasn't sorry in the least.

Dark eyes were blinking at him slowly, watching him in slight confusion but in that silent questioning manner Yoongi always had. He didn't seem distrubed, only patiently waiting to see what Taehyung would do or say. He was wonderful like that, always calm and patient with him.

Taehyung's chest ached and he tilted forward, pressing his hands into the mattress on either side of Yoongi's shoulders as he leaned their heads close together. Yoongi just blinked at him, tilting his only slightly in question as he waited for Taehyung to explain what was going through his head. But Taehyung was having trouble figuring out exactly what was going through his mind. He was suddenly overwhelmed by emotion and he wasn't sure why. It wasn't like they'd never fucked before. This time wasn't anything special, per say, though anytime Taehyung got to be with Yoongi, he considered special. This time just... wasn't that different from any of the other times and yet...

And yet, Taehyung was completely overwhelmed with how much he loved this human. It was a startling resolution.

Was this how Jimin felt when he realized he was in love with Yoongi too? No wonder the witch had broken down into tears. It all made sense now.

Taehyung inhaled through his nose, a shiver running down his spine at their scents mingling together and he leaned down just a bit more to brush their noses together. Yoongi went a little cross eyed trying to see what he was doing and it was cute. So cute in fact that Taehyung couldn't help himself from kissing that perfect little button nose. Yoongi crinkled his nose but didn't say anything, still being the incredibly patient human that he was.

"You should let me bite you." His words came out in a whisper, sounded a lot less sure then he wanted but Yoongi only rolled his eyes and huffed a breath.

"Didn't you leave enough marks on me? Fuck, I'll be so sore tomorrow, how the hell am I supposed to sit through a three hour lecture?"

Taehyung laughed softly and nuzzled their noses together again. "You're not the one who took it up the ass, hyung."

"Yah. Your stanima is insane, my hips hurt."

Taehyung giggled lightly and nuzzled his way down Yoongi's cheek and into his neck. Those hands were back on his lower back, soothing soft circles into the skin.

"But if you're hungry, it's fine."

Taehyung wasn't hungry. He'd already gotten his fill that morning from a more than willing Jimin and though he always loved a taste from Yoongi, that wasn't what he had in mind at the moment. "I mean really bite you."

Yoongi made a confused sound. "Just don't, like, rip out my throat or something."

Taehyung shook his head quickly and sat up again, his hands resting on the soft tummy of his human. The pain in his thighs were gone, the bonus of being what he was and he could totally go for another round but Yoongi's eyes were heavy and he knew the human couldn't keep up with him much longer. He had to get this out before Yoongi became too tired to understand what he was saying.

"You should let me turn you, hyung." At Yoongi's wide eyes, he hurried to continue, a cold feeling crawling up the back of his neck. "It won't hurt! Okay, maybe it'll hurt a little bit, but it's way better when you want it! I know what I'm doing, hyung, and it's a little weird to adjust at first afterward, but you have me and I've been through it before so I can help. It's not that different really. I mean, at first, all you want is blood and kill kill kill but I've got you." Taehyung grinned brightly, showing off his signature boxy grin in hopes of melting Yoongi's heart like he knew he could do. "But I think it's not as worse when you have a choice. When you want it. And I know Jiminnie and Jungkookie will be more than okay with it. And-"

"Whoa." Yoongi seemed to finally find his voice and it came out a little louder than he probably meant, cutting of Taehyung's rambling with a sharp squeak from the vampire. Yoongi shoved his hands to the mattress to sit up and Taehyung shifted back onto his legs. Yoongi's eyes were wide, and a little paniced but other than that, he looked fine as far as Taehyung was concerned. "Slow the fuck down. What do you mean turn me?"

"Become like me." Taehyung said with another grin, reaching out to cup his hands on either side of Yoongi's neck.

"Why would..." Yoongi trailed off and he looked truly baffled so Taehyung decided to explain.

"Because you're gonna die, hyung." Yoongi looked up sharply at his words. "Not right now. But eventually. Humans don't have as much time as we do. And we want you to be with us forever so turning you is the best solution!" Taehyung was sure of it. "It might hurt a little bit but I know what I'm doing. I've never turned anyone before but I've been turned and I know how it works. Jiminnie and Jungkookie can help too. And as a vampire you won't have to worry about aging or any of that other human stuff! It's a great idea!"

Yoongi stared at him for a good long while. Long enough for Taehyung's smile to drop and for him to become... nervous. Taehyung didn't get nervous. Not usually, but his fingers curled into fists against his thighs and... and something wasn't right. Yoongi should be agreeing, not... looking at him like... that.

"Taehyung..." Yoongi voice was gentle and that scared him because Yoongi only called him by his full name when he was trying to get a point across. "I don't want to be a vampire."

Okay. That was fine. Taehyung could work with that. He perked up slightly. "Oh, well, Jimin's got potions that can-"

"Taehyung, no."

Everything froze at that one word. No.

Yoongi sighed heavily, his shoulders heaving with the weight of it and he ran a hand through his already messy hair, looking away from the vampire perched in his lap. "I don't know where this is suddenly coming from but I like being human, okay?"

"But-"

"Can we just drop it?"

Yoongi was... angry. His lips were curled and he couldn't look Taehyung in the eye and it hurt. Everything suddenly hurt.

"D-Don't you love me?" It was weak, so utterly weak and Taehyung hated himself for it. History was repeating itself. It was happeneing all over again. He got too attached, he threw himself too far into it without considering the other persons feelings and abilities. It was Hoseok all over again and tears whelled into the corners of his eyes because he loved Yoongi. He loved him so much. And he never stopped to think that Yoongi didn't love him just as much.

Yoongi looked startled by the question and his lips parted, like he wanted to speak but nothing came out. Finally, finally, he met Taehyung's eyes and the vampire couldn't read what was there. Whatever unreadable expression that was there vanished and Yoongi's eyes popped open wide, his hands quickly moving to gasp Taehyung's cheeks in his hands.

"Shit, Tae, don't cry."

The vampire sniffed softly and he was crying, small tears leaking from the corner's of his eyes and he hated it. He ripped his head out of Yoongi's grip and rubbed his fists against his eyes, trying to stop them from leaking but it only seemed to make it worse. Jimin was the one who cried, not him. He didn't cry. He didn't cry. But a soft sob broke through his throat because he was in pain and Yoongi didn't love him like Taehyung loved him and it hurt. Oh did it hurt. It felt like his heart was being ripped in two and this was so much worse then Hoseok.

"Tae..." Yoongi's voice was so soft and when those hands were back, wrapping around his torso and pulling him close, Taehyung let him because he was weak. He didn't know what to do, he didn't know how to act. He wanted to pull away from Yoongi, act all cool or something and pretend it didn't bother him but... it did. It bothered him so much he couldn't handle it. All he could do was cry into Yoongi's neck and claw at his sides for something to hold onto. Something to keep his grip.

"Tae..." Yoongi sighed softly, pressing his lips gently into blond hair. "What does me wanting to be human have to do with not loving you?" He let out a soft sound like, "aiii" and then his hands were soothing over the tense mucles in the vampire's back. "Shit, please stop crying, I don't know what to do."

Taehyung wished he could but there was something in his throat and he couldn't get it out, so the tears kept coming. He couldn't even talk to explain himself, explain what he felt or why he was crying. He could only cling to Yoongi because he didn't want to let go, didn't want to lose him. He became too attached, let himself fall fast and hard like Hoseok warned him not to do and now he was left floundering, his heart laid out bare between the two of them and Yoongi... Yoongi wouldn't take it.

It was a stricking difference to Hoseok. Hoseok couldn't take his heart. Wasn't capable but Yoongi... Yoongi could. He just wasn't.

"Do you think I don't love you?" It was a soft question, like Yoongi wasn't too sure and the words made Taehyung flinch and apparently that was enough of an answer. "Shit." Yoongi hissed and quickly grabbed at Taehyung's shoulders, shoving him away only to grip at his face, cupping his cheeks in his hands and brushing the tears away with his thumbs. "What the hell, Tae? You can't just jump to conclusions like that just because I said I like being human. Fuck." Yoongi's brow was burrowed, and his lips were pursed, and though he looked upset, he was still looking at Taehyung so softly, so tenderly, it made the pain in his chest worse.

Yoongi's hands were so warm and gentle on his face, brushing his tears away as quickly as they came. His tongue stuck to the corner of his mouth as he leaned closer to Taehyung's face, giving the vampire a stern look. "That's not what I meant at all."

Taehyung hiccuped softly and opened his eyes a little wider, trying to see clearly through his blurry vision. "W-What." Was all he managed to get out. His mind was rushing with questions but it seemed the only thing he could do was cry. Sometimes, when emotions overwhelmed him, there was nothing else he could but let them out.

Yoongi sighed heavily and it made Taehyung wince but those plump lips were curling upward slightly and his heart froze in his chest. "You're so... Fuck, Tae, you're so dense sometimes. But I guess I am too. Listen to me, are you listening?"

He nodded his head vigorously in Yoongi's hands.

"I said I like being human but that doesn't mean I don't like being with you. You gotta give me a chance, okay? Human is all I know and you can't just throw something like turning me into a vampire at me out of the blue and expect me to just nod and agree, okay? Fuck. I know I have less time then the rest of you, believe me, I know. That's why I want to be sure. If I'm going to take the step to not be human anymore, then I have to be sure. I didn't say I wouldn't let you do it, just give me time, okay? I need time."

Taehyung swallowed hard and for a moment, the tears stopped, hope filling his chest regardless of the pain still lingering there. He licked his lips and swallowed again in an attempt to speak. "S-So you do love me?"

Yoongi looked surprised by the question and then... And then those beautiful rounded cheeks flushed the darkest color Taehung had ever seen them and Yoongi dropped his eyes to the sheets bundled up beside them. His lips pursed and Taehyung wanted to kiss them, he wanted to kiss him desperately, but he needed to hear those words more.

"I..." He clamped his mouth shut and furrowed his brow, closing his eyes for a moment. "I've never felt about someone the way I feel about you and if you make me say it, I'll fucking smack you."

"Hyung." Taehyung gasped and he was crying again, but not because he was in pain. No, these tears were different because that was the most he had ever gotten out of Yoongi in terms of his feelings and it made him feel light, like everything was suddenly going to be okay.

"Oh god, you're crying again, shit," Yoongi looked panicked, squeezing Taehyung's cheeks, "Fuck, I love you, okay? I do."

Taehyung hadn't meant for his tears to cause those words but he was so happy they did. "I love you!" The words came out in a rush but they came out and he wrapped his arms around Yoongi's shoulders tightly, tucking them together so he could bury his face in that lovely neck. Yoongi sighed in relief, slipping his arms around Taehyung's waist to hold him just as tightly.

"Fuck, I wasn't prepared for that emotional rollar coaster, what the fuck Tae." He sounded relieved though, a hint of a smile to his face and Taehyung just nuzzled closer to him.

He didn't know how to explain how he was feeling to Yoongi. He didn't know how to explain the fear that had run through him, the fear of history repeating itself. As much as he loved JImin and Jungkook, Yoongi was something special that he never wanted to lose and just the thought... It made him burst with emotion he couldn't control.

"So not now... but soon?"

It took Yoongi a moment to realize what Taehyung was asking and he inhaled deeply. "I don't know when, Tae. But don't fucking doubt my feelings for you ever again, okay? I wouldn't fucking be here if I didn't want to be."

"I'm sorry."

"Yah." Yoongi nudged him with his arm so he pulled back, blinking leftover tears away to meet those sparkling eyes. "Don't be sorry."

"I didn't mean to cry. I wanted to be cool and stuff." He rubbed at his eye with a fist which only made Yoongi smile a bit more. "But I thought you didn't want to be with us forever and it just happened."

"You're allowed to have feelings, Tae."

"Jimin's the crier, not me."

Yoongi scoffed softly and leaned forward to ever so softly press their lips together, leaving Taehyung with a thumping heart and wide eyes. "You're pretty when you cry. Is that weird?"

Taehyung shook his head. "You're pretty all the time."

Color flared to Yoongi's cheeks and Taehyung couldn't help but smile. They were okay. It was okay. Yoongi hadn't agreed to let him turn him but... time. He said to give him time and Taehyung could try to respect that. He was just happy the human said he loved him.

"Oh." Taehyung blinked in realization. "You said you love me." Yoongi rose his brows but the flush on his cheeks remained and excitement flooded Taehyung's system all at once. "You haven't said that to the others yet!"

"Tae-"

"I gotta tell Jiminnie." Taehyung quickly moved to scramble off Yoongi's lap only to be stopped by strong arms around his waist and though he could easily break out of Yoongi's grip, he didn't exactly want to.

"You're naked and smell like sex."

"So? Nothing he hasn't seen before."

Yoongi rolled his eyes. "We had a fucking moment Tae, I thought you'd wanna do something about that."

A moment. They had a moment. They confessed their feelings to each other face to face. That was a moment. Taehyung gasped and the next thing Yoongi knew, he was being pinned to the mattress with strong hands around his wrists and a vampire wiggling his way between his thighs. Yoongi blinked up at him in surprise but that heat was curling his eyes and Taehyung was grinning, ear to ear, cheeks bunching up and heart pounding. Yoongi arched up into him when he leaned down and once their lips met, Taehyung knew this was different than all the times before.

Yoongi was different than all the times before, opening up so willingly and so fully it made Taehyung want to cry all over again.

Yoongi loved him.

Taehyung smiled into the kiss and swallowed Yoongi's gasp when their hips rolled together. He was gonna make love to his human and he hoped Yoongi wouldn't be too angry in the morning about the marks he planned to leave all over his neck for everyone to see.
